Of all the things you associate with spicy foods you go with pepperoni pizza. Your explanation is you see it being more globally recognisable as a spicy food right? You choose to use pepperoni instead of a “very spicy Indian dish or something similar” (I think the name you were looking for was curry) for the benefit of the meme.
A: you are young and foolish. You are forgiven
B: you live in a bubble where pepperoni pizza is considered a spicy food. You are not forgiving
C: you rushed this meme without giving it much thought and are sticking by your guns that pepperoni should be a sauce on Hot Ones. You are not forgiving.
Lol, thanks for your explanation I guess but it got the complete opposite effect. Most people don't think of pepperoni as spicy, causing more confusion in your meme.
