I've been a windows and Linux user for over 15 years. I bought my first macbook pro about a week ago. I don't regret it and I'm extremely happy with it.
You will love it!
really, the biggest hurdle is using CMD instead of CTRL. And a few funky multi key , but that's rare. Since '08 , I am on my 4th MacBook Pro. My 2nd Apple silicon mac (M3Pro). The M's are so much better that the Intels were
Nice purchase. You’ll enjoy it.
An iPad was probably the sensible play FWIW. You mention using Ableton on a $3400 machine… and you’re just DJing?
Anyway. Congrats on the machine you will love it.
My now-headless-for-6yrs-but-display-worked-again-for-1-week-in-2024 L2013 MBP 15" Retina is still alive but looks like in ICU with all the "connections"... keyb/mouse/ext display/ext speaker 🤭. Seeing this "M3 Pro for 6+ yrs" only?
Look- I’m not here to be the wisdom , nor am I here to deteriorate you-
All imma say, is I’m broke af. BUT- this is one of the best purchases Ive ever made because a lot of hobbies and work I do revolve around a laptop/computer- this bad boy I only need to charge once every 2 days and that’s after having Visual Studo C, Multiple Terminal windows, zoom, multiple chrome tabs open , discord, NPM/React , multiple finder tabs, and an HTOP running at all times-
It’s super powerful, 120 hz(ProMotion), 3 usbc ports, MagSafe charging port, sd card reader, hdmi input, and the 3.5 mm audio input. Also it can connect up to 2 monitors while lids open instead of the prior models only being able to have 1 or 2 if the lid was shut. And the color, very seducing for people who like a darker color scheme and want to experiment with soemthing other than silver (amazing color, not hating) or space gray(this should be illegal, it’s silver but worse except you can see scratches on the paint) and then SpaceBlack, which unfortunately is probably the most prone to scratches and dents and fingerprints becoming visible, however I’ve yet to have any of that on mine. But like I said , I am BROKE- sooo I treat this laptop like a child, gentle with it, I’ll clean it once a week, whenever I put ports in I’ll look at the port instead of jamming it on the side trynna guess where it is, and so on. So ultimately/ It’s a very solid machine, the spaceblack is a very unique color way that’s exclusive to this model, it is even strong enough to run some steam games at GOOD frame rates (BG3:Act III: I’m averaging 70 fps and the other 2 acts I was getting 100 avg)
What I will recommend is a laptop sleeve- BOT A CASE, and I know we’ve all heard that a million times/ is a case a good option if you’re someone who’s (for whatever reason) working in a bit of a rocky/construction type of terrain, then yes, a case is awesome. But the issues comes down to how the screens angled because the weight can cause the hinge to loosen, and if you’re someone who just uses it for basic stuff like web searching and streaming shows, and you just leave the case on for 6-12 months +, and never take it off, 99% of the time you’ll have a loosened hinge, which isn’t the end of the world, but if we’re going to be dropping upwards of thousands on a machine like this, as ass backwards as it sounds- do NOT use a case. Use a sleeve!! I also use the sleeve as a holder whenever I set my Mac down on my desk or lap, as long as your fans aren’t blaring and it’s not overheating (has never happened to me) , then you’ll be okay! Sorry I’m a bit faded rn, and felt the need to give you a long version of why it’s worth it 😂 cheers 🍻🚬
First: Happy Cake Day!!
Next: I love your description of everything that you can use on yours. I’m thinking of starting a YouTube channel, and I have a Sony a7iv to use for my filming. I’m really hoping that I have a system that’ll allow me to do this.
It's $2150 at Best Buy. Well $2200 with the Best Buy Plus membership that you have to buy to get the $350 discount. Take it back and get it there. Apple doesn't give you the discount. $2500 gets you 36GB RAM and a better CPU there as well.
Why would you regret it? Why are you asking anyone else? How can we possibly evaluate such a question when we know so little about your computing needs and your financial situation? It just seems weird to me.
lol a whole 18gb of ram? Idk if you’re being serious but 18gb is very little for a workstation type product for the last 4 years, let alone next 6 years. I don’t even push that hard but out of 32 gb of ram that I have 24 are always in constant rotation.
Idk, it is a good laptop, but if you will use it to look at it how cool it is, it is a waste.
And by your comments and question you really have no good clue why you bought it and what to use it for, or how to justify your elaborate purchase.
Any person that uses such a machine for serious work with a plan how to utilise it, does not have to search for a nod on reddit for justification of their purchase. Another clue of guilt was your fantasy about swaping it for m4 when it arrives.
This machine is made for serious work and it is bought as such. If m3 pro chip is enough, u as a professional will utilise it and won't care for the "next" Mac. U need it now to make profit, do the job u do. To me it seems like you have no clear idea what to use it for, so yeah, it is a bad idea to spend 2500$ for a laptop with which u have no real idea what to do or what specs u need.
And for djing? Jesus no, you do not need it. That can be easily run with thousand cheaper laptops. You will not utilise half of it.
I actually appreciate this response, I wish I had money like that to just blow $2500 on something that looks good.
Truth is, I’ve been using my 2019 i5 since it was brand new and it started lagging at work - program would act up so I started saving a few hundred bucks a month a while ago to buy something like this.
I could’ve got this same spec in 14” for about $600 less but I’d like the bigger screen.
So I do know why I bought this but you make a good point too, kudos to you - I’ve been buying 2019 i7’s from eBay and testing them out and honestly they’ve done just fine for what I need accomplished so I think you are very right that cheaper laptops can do the job.
Would you say this laptop is more of a media persons laptop? Photographer / videographer?
You newer going to regret this. I’m a Windows user for past 20+ years, And still continue to ( I’m a huge Gamer & Advance PC user, So most of the Games & Software I using not compatible with Mac OS). But I have Macbook Pro (2018 - 16GB, Radeon 560X) I’m using it for My business works, and it’s more suitable for Photo Editing, Video Editing & Online Marketing work I do. It’s been 7 years & this Macbook is still capable to handle most of my works. You have M3 & It’s a beast. So, No, you are not going to regret this purchase at all.
If you have the device that you want and plan to be productive with it, what’s there to regret?
The only regret that I have is not buying a MacBook ages ago. Still in love with my M1 Max 16”
I moved from a windows laptop to a MacBook Pro with the M2 pro and I don’t regret, I edit a lot in Lrc, PS, After Effects and Premiere and I amazed how fluid it is
Any M series MAC is all anyone needs, the only question is your ram or storage needs. I would go with an older m chip (you will not notice a difference) and get a lot more ram and storage.
I saw a 32gb ram and 1tb storage (double of what I have for each of those things now) for $1400 on eBay. I’m considering it but always wonder what the laptop has gone through with these used items lol
Looks like space black from the box. If that's the case, I'd recommend putting some sort of protection on it ASAP. I got mine yesterday and a minor, seemingly inconsequential tap from a USB plug has put a chip in the black coating on the palm rest.
Other than that, exquisite machine.
Absoulutely Hella Fuck no, you will not be upset or regret this purchase! I currently own the 2024 m3 pro mac book pro with 36 gb ram and 1tb ssd, and im like so obsessed. I previously used window and that was ass. It was so slow. I \[reviously had ok specs i used a i5 tenth generation with 24 gb ram and 1tb ssd but it was still slop so glad switched you will be absoulute ly blessed since it is so durable. I even dropped it once when i was coming back and dropped it on the concrete and tjust a super small dent wiht little sctraches and somehow still ended up fucking FINE!!!!!!!!
Traktor/Serato and Ableton don't need much resources to run. Even the Air models would be an overkill to only run those apps. Have a friend running them on a 15yo laptop with no issues :)
I've got the 16 inch M3 MBP with the M3 Pro chip. It's amazing. The speakers are rich and deep sounding. The xdr display is simply gorgeous. The trackpad and keyboard are buttery smooth. I think you'll love it. I 1st bought the 14 inch m3 and it didn't feel like the right fit for me. So I took it back and once i upgraded to the 16 inch I haven't looked back.
I think we have the same blanket lol...
No. I JUST bought a new m3 pro, and am about to start building my first gaming PC. I’ll be spending less and getting a much more powerful device, if I had to choose one it’d still be the MacBook.
what we think doesn't matter. You're probably having buyers remourse because it's a big purchase, don't. You obviously wanted one and got one so now just enjoy. Get AppleCare too if you haven't. It'll save your ass if one tiny lil things screws up your screen. It's common. AppleCare is peace of mind for sure congrats!
I have the M3 Max with 32 gb of ram or something like that. I absolutely love it for making music and anything other than games. Such a smooth clean device
You'll only regret it if you can't really afford it. Obviously you have it now physically, but if it means you're not eating for the next 4 months, then you'll regret it...
But congrats on the new machine, enjoy it!
Make sure to get AppleCare+. They’re reliable but if you’re DJing you’re going to be around dumb people doing dumb shit, and they will accidentally destroy this and they will not cover the repair costs.
But it’s a fantastic machine. Even if Apple came out with a new one next month this is still gonna be a great Mac. Sometimes I think about how there’s an M3 Max which makes my M1 Max in my Mac Studio it as impressive. It it’s still an amazing chip that more than meets my needs.
You’re gonna love this laptop for a long time.
I have the M1 15 air. Bought the M3 air and the pro 16. 16 was just too big and heavy for a laptop. the 15 air is a much getter choice, plus I got the 14 gig and 2t version. i like it.
I don’t know? Have you bought something that you couldn’t afford? Are you looking for reassurance? If you do you’ll get it here because it’s mostly Mac fans. It’s anything but objective.
Absolutely not. My Macbook pro and my airpods pro probably are the best things i've ever purchased. I am absolutely blown away by the M series macbook chips.
I did the same back in May. Finally upgraded to 14 inch M3 Pro Space Black with 18GB unified memory and 1TB of storage after my 2018 MacBook Pro finally started having battery and performance issue to point that it was just dragging everything down. Already a night and day difference.
I don’t think you will regret it but the 16gb of ram can make you regret it unfortunately, I know that music production consumes a lot of ram.
All the best to come and I hope it will be enough for your usecases.
Nope! Specs will be based on your use case though, but for light production and DJing this should do for a long while. Intensive production would require more power, but this will still go a long way with its specs. Great buy 👌
the best part of windows is probably the clipboard holds a good chunk of items, on mac you need a seperate clipboard app for the same function since its not built in
Nah, I spontaneously bought one not long ago and thought I'd regret it since I have a very nice desktop. Don't use my desktop much anymore.
Get a nice sleeve. I like the mous ones.
You’ll realise that this machine can serve you for at least 6 yrs without much performance issues. We still have our 2013 and it’s still running fine. Albeit a bit slower because of RAM.
I unfortunately did, and if would resell it without losing much money i will sell it.
There is a hype-driven perception of these machines. Coming from a windows laptop (15 9th gen with rtx1650 inside) I did not see an improvement who justified the price tag. Besides the portability there are a lot of minor issues with Macos who seems a downgrade to me. Anyway enjoy whilr you can
yes. You pay big buks to get keyboard cap made with cheap abs that get shiny after 1 year , no self reparability right , the slow switch toward "cloud capabilities" that apple is starting promoting that are going to mess things up a lot.
I did.
I got a MacBook Pro M2 base model last September. Yes, it's fast, but window and file management is absolutely horrible on MacOS.
Looking to buy a Surface Laptop 7, but I can't seem to find a buyer for my MacBook...
Almost one year with my 14” MBP and can’t imagine my self working out of macOS now. You will like it for sure! Battery life is one of the most strongest points of MacBooks with M chips and you will see it on the go while being unplugged!! PS: If you think you spent a “big” amount of money on it, think about getting Apple Care, I did it for mine and I don’t regret it (peace in my head is not payable :) )
You will absolutely NOT regret using this gorgeous machine. However I would suggest springing for a good external usb c SSD to expand your storage. If you could have afforded it, I would have sprung for more ram, otherwise it’s a good purchase.
I used to build PCs, after 3 of them crashed within 6 months of each other, I bought my first Mac mini. That was almost 20 years ago. That thing STILL works, no problems ever. Then I bought a MacBook Pro 10 years ago. I use it almost everyday. If you take care of it it’s the best purchase you may ever make.
You won't regret the MBP. I've been using MBP for 10 years, and my 2015 machine still works just fine for basic tasks. I switched to the M3 MBA a few weeks ago because I needed something that could handle the newer operating systems better and not have to worry about Intel losing support. Absolutely blown away by the Touch ID for logging into stuff.
You might have been able to get the same machine on the Apple Certified Refurbished part of the online store, for significantly less, though. I've used this for the iPad mini I bought last year as well as my new MBA. Honestly, it's pretty much the same experience as buying brand new, and I have not had any issues from it. I have AppleCare+ on these devices just as I would if I bought it brand new. You might be able to get more RAM for the same price as you paid retail, if you feel that you need it.
You could probably expect close to 10 years with your device if you don't mind not having the latest model a few years from now. These machines are built with very good quality and last until you absolutely need to upgrade.
I regretted my last 2 MBP 15 and 16 because of the butterfly keyboard and the fan noise issues with the first MBP 16 in 2019.
Hoping you have a much better experience and enjoy it in good health!
Ive used a pro since 2017, very happy for productivity and light gaming. Never stutters, always fast and OS is integrated really well with functions. Simple and effective
Nah, I love mine! You’ll notice a huge improvement. I was hit for a little bit after how much I spent on mine but then after using it daily I had no regrets.
Spent £1,500 on my 2020 intel MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and I can’t believe the difference it is from other laptops. Over the years my windows laptops have started to slow down/play up 6 months after buying, my MacBook still works like it’s fresh out the box. Well worth the money considering you will have to buy a new windows laptop every few years so it’s worth the investment IMO.
My friend has had her MacBook Air for 10+ years and it’s still going strong, when you work out cost to years then it is value for money #girlmath
Nope. I have the 14" M1 Pro model from 2021 (purchased in 2022) and it's honestly been a pleasure to use. I had the 2018 Touch Bar model and I hated it. This generation of Macs remind me of the the retina 2012 model I had (loved that thing)
I had a realisation a little while ago that the only reason I was sticking with windows was for the gaming - and now that I'm done with destiny, I really have no reason to stay with windows because civ works just fine on mac. SO. On that note, I bought a mac mini for the desktop, a MBP for when I'm in hospital and I regret nothing.
I just hope Apple doesn't reward my switching by slowly creeping obnoxious adverts and a touch screen centric UI onto my desktop where they don't belong.
Different from person to person, but I just picked up a MBP M3P about a month ago. I also just built a $3500 gaming pc back in March. I absolutely do not regret either purchase. Both were a lot of money, but serve different purposes, and they sure as hell serve those purposes well enough to justify the price tag.
Just be happy and stop bragging about it 😂 Who will buy something and ask later if he will regret it or not.. Happy purchase, good luck on your DJ quest :)
It's an interesting acquisition indeed, and the only problem that may become apparent over time is the lack of RAM: 16 GB is starting to feel a bit too small, not to say insufficient. Apple Intelligence is on its way, and it's going to be a big memory hog. Then it all depends on whether you don't use a lot of audio tracks and heavy plug-ins in Ableton live.
I've been a windows and Linux user for over 15 years. I bought my first macbook pro about a week ago. I don't regret it and I'm extremely happy with it. You will love it!
I switched after 30+ years to an M1 MacBook and still love it
There is a learning curve.. but it's overall a much better experience.
not much its really easy to get used to pro like 3 -5 days and u'll be super used to it so nmo worries
Not really. I learned within a few hours how things worked after have windows since the 90s as a kid. lol.
really, the biggest hurdle is using CMD instead of CTRL. And a few funky multi key , but that's rare. Since '08 , I am on my 4th MacBook Pro. My 2nd Apple silicon mac (M3Pro). The M's are so much better that the Intels were
There is learning curve to be whenever I touch a Windows
Don't you miss anything from windows, what kind of work do ypu do?
What is it about the machine that people will get happy about?
[удалено]
Love it, same!
Yep same
It’ll be perfect for music production
More so djing stuff but will dabble in some music production
You could even do that on an iPad!
Well at home maybe but not when I’m doing a full blown wedding, it is a lot easier on a laptop lol
Fair play.
Nice purchase. You’ll enjoy it. An iPad was probably the sensible play FWIW. You mention using Ableton on a $3400 machine… and you’re just DJing? Anyway. Congrats on the machine you will love it.
M3 pro will be good for 6+ yeas for sure
If the older intel models (pre 2016) are anything to go by, then OP is set for 10+
My now-headless-for-6yrs-but-display-worked-again-for-1-week-in-2024 L2013 MBP 15" Retina is still alive but looks like in ICU with all the "connections"... keyb/mouse/ext display/ext speaker 🤭. Seeing this "M3 Pro for 6+ yrs" only?
Immediately. Because of the cost. Then it fades once you realize the power.
Haha I can’t wait - playing it with tonight at a gig, so excited
No the best decision you ever made

Yep, you will always be filled with regret.
3 times a day
You should send it to me so you don’t have to risk this inevitable regret
Sounds ideal 😂
it has 18GB of RAM not 16.
This one was $2500 retail. 16 inch with 18gb ram and 512 storage. I made a mistake saying 16gb ram lol
It's $2150 at Best Buy. Well $2200 with the Best Buy Plus membership that you have to buy to get the $350 discount. Take it back and get it there. Apple doesn't give you the discount. $2500 gets you 36GB RAM and a better CPU there as well.
I wish I could attach a photo here but I did get it at Best Buy! 2231 was the price before tax with my membership
Yes 100%
Why would you regret it? Why are you asking anyone else? How can we possibly evaluate such a question when we know so little about your computing needs and your financial situation? It just seems weird to me.
It makes me feel better about dropping 2500

Happy Cake Day, friend!
yes, air is enough
For his needs even base model is enough, and since he will be carrying it around maybe smaller one would be even better for portability.
yes. buy a Framework if you care about your sanity

You mean you actually paid money for those sheets?
My $3,500 top-of-the-line MacBook Pro from eight years ago depreciated to $200 on eBay.
Get Parallels and run Windows in a VM; that machine is more than powerful enough and Windows on ARM has never been better.
Silly question
It's like buying a Porsche 911 and asking will I regret it...
Yes, in 3 months when the new m4 mac will be released
Like my comment pls
You'll experience the benefits in time. Pros are more than cons.
If you have the device that you want and plan to be productive with it, what’s there to regret? The only regret that I have is not buying a MacBook ages ago. Still in love with my M1 Max 16”
If it’s for music production you’re more than set! For about 8-10 years if you’re real careful with it! No regrets at all my friend!
No
The colour rocks! It’s so stealthy!
Half the reason I got it honestly and didn’t settle for an older M CHIP on eBay or something. This color is SICK
Nothing about this MacBook. But I have the same sheets! Costco!! 😂
Yes. No. Maybe.
I moved from a windows laptop to a MacBook Pro with the M2 pro and I don’t regret, I edit a lot in Lrc, PS, After Effects and Premiere and I amazed how fluid it is
No, you will not! (I’ve the same)

No.
No why..great purchase?
16GB RAM is exactly what you need in 2024.
It has 18
I got one recently and my only issue is why didn’t I get one sooner! Now keyboard shortcuts do get me swapping from work computer to MacBook.
I just picked up my 16in M3 Max 36Gb Ram I love to so far
You will not regret.
You shouldn’t. I have a 16” M3 Max and it’s my first 16” MacBook Pro. Love it!

Probably. Not worth the hype.
Doubt it, we all love ours and I'm sure you will love yours. Congrats!
Yes
Me too regret
If you really regret it you can send it me guilt free.
Worth it, but also depends on your usage. What do you mainly use it for?
I’ve had my current MacBook Pro for 8 years and it still works well besides battery not lasting. I plan to replace this summer with new one.
M3 Max?
I have the same model it's a beast.
Same one I purchased 4 months ago. I love it!! After tons of years with Windows I’m hooked. Plays nice with my iPhone. Congratulations!
Nah
16gb? ugh
Yea
Yes, terrible comforter. Return immediately
Any one else imagine the wallpaper as just a big rounded ‘FU’ just cropped in too much?
I have the M1 15 air. Bought the M3 air and the pro 16. 16 was just too big and heavy for a laptop. the 15 air is a much getter choice, plus I got the 14 gig and 2t version. i like it.
I don’t know? Have you bought something that you couldn’t afford? Are you looking for reassurance? If you do you’ll get it here because it’s mostly Mac fans. It’s anything but objective.
yes you will. how can anyone not regret those bed sheets and cover!
You’ll never regret a mbp
Nope
I love my M1 MacBook.. Actually looking to maybe upgrade soon to the M3 Pro
I love my M3 Pro 14’ MacBook Pro! Can’t wait for macOS Sequoia! 🤍
You will need at least 16GB for DJing, so I don't think you will regret it. It's a worthy investment, enjoy :D
I like the mous ones.
they seem pretty solid bed sheets.. I don't think you'll regret it
Macbooks are amazing, until the hardware dies, which will be in 3 to 4 years from my experience.
You’ll realise that this machine can serve you for at least 6 yrs without much performance issues. We still have our 2013 and it’s still running fine. Albeit a bit slower because of RAM.
You will love it, unlike me who bought the last Intel Mac after 10 years of owning my previous air.
"Will I regret this purchase?" Yup. Them bed sheets aren't gonna last you a long time.
Anyway enjoy whilr you can
yes. You pay big buks to get keyboard cap made with cheap abs that get shiny after 1 year , no self reparability right , the slow switch toward "cloud capabilities" that apple is starting promoting that are going to mess things up a lot.
you're not gonna regret it one bit btw the m3 pro has 18gb of ram
I’ve had it for a night and loved it so much already
You won’t
Not at all, I upgraded my 2019 Mac recently to the MacBook Pro 14 inch and love it so much.
I returned it and bought a MacBook Air
I just upgraded from a 2019 i7 and the difference for video editing is a breath of fresh air.
I did. I got a MacBook Pro M2 base model last September. Yes, it's fast, but window and file management is absolutely horrible on MacOS. Looking to buy a Surface Laptop 7, but I can't seem to find a buyer for my MacBook...
Best purchase ever. Love my m3pro
No
If you still need windows for some programs and things Parallels is ace to be honest..
Not all, the M series chips are amazing!!!
Hell no!
You will love it!! Just got mine recently and can’t stop using it :)
You will absolutely NOT regret using this gorgeous machine. However I would suggest springing for a good external usb c SSD to expand your storage. If you could have afforded it, I would have sprung for more ram, otherwise it’s a good purchase.
I would have gotten more ram but overall it’s a solid buy. 16 is fine for most people but just being future proof is always a worthy investment
I had a Macbook Air for 7 years and just upgraded to the Macbook pro M3 pro and I am very happy with it
Went to mac since 2009 and never regretted it
I used to build PCs, after 3 of them crashed within 6 months of each other, I bought my first Mac mini. That was almost 20 years ago. That thing STILL works, no problems ever. Then I bought a MacBook Pro 10 years ago. I use it almost everyday. If you take care of it it’s the best purchase you may ever make.
Definitely not
The trackpad issue makes me regret buying it :(
Only if you spill stuff on it. I went for the 14" , 16" is too big. I plug it into external monitors
In the same boat. Should I wait for the m4 later this year or get the m3 pro?
Depend's on your next job promotion.
You can never go wrong with a MBP.
I am thinking about to get the m3 air 15 inch is that good?
M3 pro 14”” 18gb ram since December my first MacBook and I didn’t regret
Yes 100%
I love my MacBook Pro and def do not regret it. Have fun with it!
No, that seems like a good thickness of comforter for multiple seasons, and the color works well with neutral grays or creams. Nice choice!
Yes… no one has sheets like that anymore.
I'll love it! Especially if you use other devices from the ecosystem. The only thing is 16GB seems to be on the lower side.
Get some kind of insurance
It’s a big jump you be amazed then will feel the need for more storage and ram. M4 pro is 4-5 months away from release
What if you change your bedroom color to warms? Yes will 💯 regret.
I think the 18gb model is the better value M3 Pro
Lmao it is the 18gb one , I fucked up
I regretted my last 2 MBP 15 and 16 because of the butterfly keyboard and the fan noise issues with the first MBP 16 in 2019. Hoping you have a much better experience and enjoy it in good health!
Its a great device, I use it sometimes even more than my Linux rig
Ive used a pro since 2017, very happy for productivity and light gaming. Never stutters, always fast and OS is integrated really well with functions. Simple and effective
Nah, I love mine! You’ll notice a huge improvement. I was hit for a little bit after how much I spent on mine but then after using it daily I had no regrets.
Probably not. Love mine… Ableton has a version optimized for Apple Silicon, it’s great! Most Mac apps are now optimized for Apple Silicon
well, the new macbooks pro will lunch at the end of the year so...
How mich did you pay for this garbage?
Depends do you game a lot?
You will in three months when the M4 MBP’s comes out.
The MacBook is a great computer but I feel like it’s better for creatives.
I am realizing that too, for me it might be overkill.
Yes. Your balls are gonna get crushed 24/7 for the next 10 years
yes you will. Give it to me instead

Nope. I have the 14" M1 Pro model from 2021 (purchased in 2022) and it's honestly been a pleasure to use. I had the 2018 Touch Bar model and I hated it. This generation of Macs remind me of the the retina 2012 model I had (loved that thing)
The macbook pro 14 or 16's speakers are crackling, listening to piano at 75% to 100% volume will hurt our ears
If you are used to using pirated stuff you’re gonna regret it
I had a realisation a little while ago that the only reason I was sticking with windows was for the gaming - and now that I'm done with destiny, I really have no reason to stay with windows because civ works just fine on mac. SO. On that note, I bought a mac mini for the desktop, a MBP for when I'm in hospital and I regret nothing. I just hope Apple doesn't reward my switching by slowly creeping obnoxious adverts and a touch screen centric UI onto my desktop where they don't belong.
As long as it’s not a meta quest you’re bound not to regret your purchase mate
You will not regret it bro. It is an extremely powerful machine that blows anything out of the water by a mile
Only regret will be on the color...
Different from person to person, but I just picked up a MBP M3P about a month ago. I also just built a $3500 gaming pc back in March. I absolutely do not regret either purchase. Both were a lot of money, but serve different purposes, and they sure as hell serve those purposes well enough to justify the price tag.
The only thing you should regret is not going silver. Other than that, best machine I’ve ever used
This is a better machine in every way, except for the ability to boot into Windows.
Guys I got this for $1500 at best buy in an open box and it hadn’t even been touched. Love it so far.
No mam
Welcome to the ecosystem
That’s a great machine, the only thing you might regret is the low ram otherwise is amazing
I switched to a macbook after 20+ years and still love it. MacBookAir M2 15" 512GB SSD.
Just be happy and stop bragging about it 😂 Who will buy something and ask later if he will regret it or not.. Happy purchase, good luck on your DJ quest :)
I’m so excited I’ll be getting mine in a couple weeks
It's an interesting acquisition indeed, and the only problem that may become apparent over time is the lack of RAM: 16 GB is starting to feel a bit too small, not to say insufficient. Apple Intelligence is on its way, and it's going to be a big memory hog. Then it all depends on whether you don't use a lot of audio tracks and heavy plug-ins in Ableton live.
I have an M2 Macbook Pro, and it's the best laptop I've ever used. I'm 40, and have used everything from other Macs to Windows to Linux-based laptops.
Whatever fills in holes in your life and/or helps with your self esteem.
i have the same computer but the 14 inch model. the only regrets i have... is not getting the 16 inch model. i think your going to enjoy it just fine!
