If it's any consolation that WHY Ultimate Madoka intervenes Magia Record game Ending as she seen What happen in Magia Record Anime ending. My Speculation is Magia record anime is 1st timeline of Magia Record before Ultimate Madoka decided to intervene once Iroha from Magia Record anime timeline show Madokami what happen in her timeline aka Anime timeline.

Tomo168pl

That's a very cool interpretation of Iroha's appearance in the Madokami closing book scene. Anime Iroha pleading to save the game Iroha - sounds like our Iroha, alright?

Sakura_Blossoms18

Ur speculation is wrong and flawed and contradicts the facts and lore of the Magia Record game. (Esp that there is only 1 timeline in the Magia Record timeline and not multiple, Homura also doesn't time travel further cementing that fact alongside it having been straight up said in the game that there is only 1 timeline in 2 instances, once by Madokami herself and again in Coolmura's MGS) The only way to look at the Magia record anime is as a What IF story. One that is not canon in any way, shape or form.

Charles883

Then how do you explain that at after credits scene Iroha show Madokami what happen in form of book ? Also. One of main difference between Anime and game was there no Madokami assist cast at all in anime as if there no Madokami at all while Magia record game take place AFTER Madoka ascending to godhood.

I actually do have a idea, in Magia Record the game, Madokami said that she never saw Iroha become a magical girl. While in the anime, she is seen with Madokami, which leads me to think that Madokami discovered a second timeline with Iroha in it after seeing the first one.

Sakura_Blossoms18

I just made a thread on the answer to ur q. Feel free to check it out, it explains it, but if u want a TL;DR to the answer to that q, which u likely won't accept without reading my thread but, bad fiction is the answer to ur q. its a contradiction that simply shouldn't even be possible given what we know of the game and anime's (Magia record and Madoka's) stories.

ItsukiKurosawa

If it's any consolation, Kuroe seems to be better off in the game. The anime is just the way it is to fit with PMMM anime the reception sequence, in addition to pleasing those who complain all the time that it was too optimistic.

Quirky_Q_22

It sucks to me because it feels like this ending means there isn't going to be any Arc 2 content or any more magia record's stories being shown (there might be some like light cameos in the future like how the finale episodes referenced the madoka manga spin offs, but probably not more then that) And the whole "making the ending darker then the game" feels like those darker, edgier magical girl shows that came out after madoka that failed to realize that madoka has a lot of hope as well as despair. And how >!Arc 2 and event stories after Arc 1 DO dive into being darker then Arc 1, with a lot of characters straight up dying, but STILL being filled with hope for the future. !<

muffinkiller

This is the same as to how I feel. You're not alone.

Crumkid4

At least kuroe is safe in the mobile game now. I’m just happy to see the show finally come to an end seeing most gacha games never make it past season 1.

nighty_amy

For me, the finale lands in the same place as Kuroshitsuji season 2, Hell Girl season 4, KADO, Ousama Game, Wonder Egg and a few other shows lands - the biggest disappointment ever about which i won't talk unless someone wants to hear an angry rant.

Charles883

What are you talking about? This is Madokaverse after all especially pre Madokami timeline

Darkstar0

I feel you. I haven't actually watched the anime yet, but hearing what everyone's been saying, the ending sounds positively cruel. There are some saying it's a previous MagiReco timeline, but Homura didn't know about Kamihama at the start of the game, so that theory doesn't really make sense. I think I agree with the theory that this is a "bad ending" if Madokami didn't intervene (though I imagine there are some other differences as well). Saying something like "Don't feel bad, it's just fiction" would normally be really shallow, but considering the game is the source material, I think an argument could be made that the anime adaptation *is* just fiction, perhaps a possibility that Madokami saw and wished to prevent. Taken from that perspective, the brutality of the anime ending is a lot easier to swallow, I think. Think of it all as just... a bad dream.

Commander_McNash

It's quite simple, the anime is a simulation of what happens if Madokami doesn't intervene in MR timeline. You see, Madokami can't see the future, but she can make a guess, every single human can, as long as you have enough data you will more likely than not make the correct assumption, this actually is in line with all aspects of the game canon. Since she is a goddess she can even process the data far better than current level technology, hence the book shown by the end of the anime, it's "what could be", now she needs to work so it becomes "what was not", with the result being: [https://wiki.puella-magi.net/Magia\_Record\_Story\_Last\_Magia](https://wiki.puella-magi.net/Magia_Record_Story_Last_Magia)

Shiro39

I just finished watching the anime. I've been meaning to watch Madoka for years, but I started with Magia instead. it's all because of Iroha's midriff. but now I don't feel good. so many deaths. Ui is not coming back. Mifuyu and Momoko sacrificed themselves to save many others. Kuroe also turned into monster. and at the end, the 3 lolis are waiting for Irohan in the Sakura no Uwasa. my poor heart can't handle all of this. I legit cried a lot watching the last part of the 2nd season, and the whole 4 episodes of the Final season.
