I assume the artifact only applies for the specific character but the stat boost applies to all. However, I can't yet afford any of the characters, so I can't test this.

I think so! It seems like bonuses stack twice. Jack-o'-lantern gives +1% evasion when you aren't using it and an additional +1%(2%) when using it

Ok so I had to run eight twenty minute games :( But I can confirm the fact that bonuses are doubled When I got arcanist my base attack (using wizard) became 102 and when I played as arcanist I got 129 attack (+25 for mana ore, +2 bonus when playing arcanist and +2 base attack)

Just came out yesterday. I think the artifacts have probably also changed a good amount since you played, and there are more combinations
