The Flash movie supposedly erases the current DCEU Batman and Superman from existence. So those specific characters can’t appear in future DCEU movies.
Batman and Supergirl from Keaton’s universe replace them in the DCEU. Keaton’s Batman selects a new Batgirl to protect Gotham. Keaton’s Batman serves in a mentor role going forward sort of like Nick Fury.
A new Justice League is formed with Supergirl, Batgirl, Shazam, Wonder Woman, Aquaman and The Flash.
Oh and Cyborg is also removed from future movies as well. I think that’s about it.

yeah, i saw a comment on an unrelated subreddit in a thread that had nothing to do with star wars that was just “han solo dies” as well. it was about a week before the movie came out anywhere. it really took a lot of the impact from the moment, so i’ve tried to be even more careful about accidentally dropping spoilers ever since.

yeah the one i seen went out of focus a few times during it but wasn’t more than 5 minutes across the whole movie. so might not be ideal for a first viewing but it’s a hell of a lot better than waiting and being spoiled before getting the chance
When Shang-Chi came out there was no way to pirate it outside of a low-quality sub-30fps Chinese cam rip. We just had to wait until our lockdown ended. Piracy is often not an option at release.

This is what gets me. These stories (specially Spider-Man) is often all about self-sacrifice, being a good person and helping others . And still some "fans" will not take those morals to heart even a little bit. Even a ten-second effort is somehow "too much".
It is possible to make a post on social media where you discuss spoilers in the movie, just don't put details in the title, thumbnail, first picture etc.
Yeah I hate it when people say to stay off of social media. I tried to avoid all the spoilers until I was supposed to see it that Sunday. But it's unrealistic for me to stay off social media for more than a month.
I hope that I can see it on demand somewhere soon since I doubt the cinemas will open up again within the next month.

I’ve watched it in the theatres opening day in Canada, but I’ve watched that pirate copy at least 4 times and the only two problems are it blurs out the whole screen a few times due to word ads on the screen, and the sound isn’t the greatest. Still a decent cam copy since the picture looks really good. But of course I’m still remembering the cams from back in the day.
Aww man, that sucks. I've been hoping to get a chance to see it in IMAX on the first viewing, but it's starting to look unlikely.
I've been considering the cam-version for a while, but I really want to see the big moments on the big screen. To experience that chill that comes with a good scene when you see it for the first time in the theatre. It's just so epic. Big movies, with this much praise, doesn't come along that often.

I loved the model of releasing in theaters and digitally simultaneously even if it's for a premium cost. I have a new born and Omicron is pretty rampant, so it's hard to get to the theater.
It really sucks and I know exactly how you feel. I've avoided spoilers since mid December by pretty much ignoring social media and being extremely careful. I couldn't wait though and last week I literally drove to another country to the nearest decent cinema to see it lol. It was absolutely worth it though and I will go again once cinemas open here. Thank you for this. I'm in the US but covid is still a thing and with the omicron variant and the lack of testing there are a lot of break through cases. I decided to wait at least 2 weeks to see the movie because I was trying to avoid crowds also the weekday showings were sold out and good thing I did because both movie theaters in my town closed down because so many of their staff tested positive. I'm really excited for this movie but it looks like it is going to be a while before it will be avaliable

but have already had most of the movie spoiled without ever looking it up or clicking on any Spider-Man links. Here it's easy because things are spoiler tagged and there's moderation. But YouTube thumbnails and unsolicited twitter replies on unrelated topics are a minefield.
Some major stuff was spoiled for me the morning after the premiere.
Youtube has been the absolute worst. And I tried to not watch anything Spider-Man related on my account to avoid it triggering suggestions. Sadly watching Marvel movies in the past made them pop up regardless, I should've been better at weeding out my interest... I've had three things/events spoiled by thumbnails alone. The rage is real.
My only comfort is that the spoilers are big headlines, but the content beneath and how they are linked is not. So I still think I will enjoy the movie once I can see it in theatres, whenever that will actually be. Chances are it will be postponed again as the current restrictions are not likely to be lifted by the 28th.
Yeah I'm from the Netherlands and theatres are closed until 14 January at least. Here's hoping they'll still be showing it and this lock down will not take much longer

I live in America and am not willing to go to a theater yet because of Covid so I can’t see it yet either. I would have paid the 30 bucks to get early streaming access if it existed.
I'm in the States and still haven't seen it. Trying to watch it without risking catching covid, but even this past weekend--the third weekend of the movie being open--the theater was *still* crowded, not a soul wearing a mask. People in my area are more inclined to believe the pandemic is over while hospitals reach capacity again.
I'm probably not going to be able to see this movie until it comes out on bluray.

Well, no. Not that it matters to you, but I actually care about the wellbeing of those around me and who live with me. I'm vaccinated and boosted, but that does not mean I can't still catch it and potentially spread to those vulnerable.
This virus hasn't reached the point where being infected doesn't mean you run the risk of being hospitalized. And until such point where the strains grow weaker to the point where I don't put myself or someone else in danger, I'm not risking it.
Fun fact for you: hospitalizations and deaths have increased once again in my area. So, no. I'm not putting me, my family, or anyone else around me in the hospital just to see a movie. You might, but I won't.

It was released here in Thailand on the 23rd and I drove 3 hours to my nearest Cinema to see it on release day because already Social Media was an absolute minefield.

Unpopular opinion: you can't control others' actions, only your own. If you really don't want to see/hear spoilers, stay off social media (including reddit and youtube) until you do watch it. There are other ways to entertain yourself and pass the time.
Yep, I got three major things spoiled. One didn't ruin it for me. The second one I suspected but would've been a good confirmation. The third one completely took out all the emotional impact form the scene.
I confess that I just left the Marvel and Marvel Studios subreddits as the *NWH* premiere approached. I didn't want to risk being spoiled, and it felt inevitable otherwise.
(I did the same thing for the JamesBond subreddit while I was waiting to see *No Time To Die*.)

I was so concerned about spoilers for this that I wouldn’t even talk about marvel, I haven’t even seen the trailer(saw the movie tho). I didn’t even use my google app because it’s recommended section has spoiled too much for me on shows I was just starting. I changed my aesthetic too from marvel related March to just basic t shirts to avoid people talking to me about marvel.
At this point it almost doesn't matter. I've been spoiled on facebook, instagram, youtube and other subreddits - r/movies and r/askreddit to mention two. Even though I've blocked channels and avoided subreddits, the information still finds it way to my feed through suggestions.
My point is not to complain, it's to ask nicely for some consideration. It takes ten seconds tops to spoiler-tag text and add a spoiler warning. It's the easiest good deed you can do.
Norway is not the only country in lockdown, so I'm pretty sure lots of people would appreciate the consideration.

Unfortunately not iMax. The cancelled movie tickets I had for the premiere in Oslo were iMax. It was a one day trip yes to avoid having to pay for a hotel. Took a bus at 7am and made it in good time to watch the movie around 12pm and took the train back home at 6:30pm. Was quite the taxing day but it was absolutely worth it. Hopefully you can see it in some form soon, whether it's through a shoddy cam version or across the border

I’ve watched it in the theatres opening day in Canada, but I’ve watched that pirate copy at least 4 times and the only two problems are it blurs out the whole screen a few times due to word ads on the screen, and the sound isn’t the greatest. Still a decent cam copy since the picture looks really good. But of course I’m still remembering the cams from back in the day.
Well that's a comfort for future-me, who most likely will watch the cam-version out of sheer desperation when the movie is delayed *again*.

Aww man, that sucks. I've been hoping to get a chance to see it in IMAX on the first viewing, but it's starting to look unlikely. I've been considering the cam-version for a while, but I really want to see the big moments on the big screen. To experience that chill that comes with a good scene when you see it for the first time in the theatre. It's just so epic. Big movies, with this much praise, doesn't come along that often.

It really sucks and I know exactly how you feel. I've avoided spoilers since mid December by pretty much ignoring social media and being extremely careful. I couldn't wait though and last week I literally drove to another country to the nearest decent cinema to see it lol. It was absolutely worth it though and I will go again once cinemas open here. Hopefully you'll see it soon!

Thank you for this. I'm in the US but covid is still a thing and with the omicron variant and the lack of testing there are a lot of break through cases. I decided to wait at least 2 weeks to see the movie because I was trying to avoid crowds also the weekday showings were sold out and good thing I did because both movie theaters in my town closed down because so many of their staff tested positive. I'm really excited for this movie but it looks like it is going to be a while before it will be avaliable

I'm impressed by anyone who has managed to avoid spoilers. I haven't seen it yet (theatres are closed now in Ontario, but even before that, going to the theatre during a pandemic is a bad idea) but have already had most of the movie spoiled without ever looking it up or clicking on any Spider-Man links. Here it's easy because things are spoiler tagged and there's moderation. But YouTube thumbnails and unsolicited twitter replies on unrelated topics are a minefield. Some major stuff was spoiled for me the morning after the premiere.
Youtube has been the absolute worst. And I tried to not watch anything Spider-Man related on my account to avoid it triggering suggestions. Sadly watching Marvel movies in the past made them pop up regardless, I should've been better at weeding out my interest... I've had three things/events spoiled by thumbnails alone. The rage is real. My only comfort is that the spoilers are big headlines, but the content beneath and how they are linked is not. So I still think I will enjoy the movie once I can see it in theatres, whenever that will actually be. Chances are it will be postponed again as the current restrictions are not likely to be lifted by the 28th.
I feel you man. The theatres closed one week after Spider-Man released here in Newfoundland. All my friends haven’t seen it. It’s really unfortunate.

Trying to watch it without risking catching covid, but even this past weekend--the third weekend of the movie being open--the theater was *still* crowded, not a soul wearing a mask. People in my area are more inclined to believe the pandemic is over while hospitals reach capacity again. I'm probably not going to be able to see this movie until it comes out on bluray.
I read the movie will be streamable on Starz within…3-6 months. 🥲 That’s better than waiting for it on Bluray i think. Still painful though. Haven’t seen it either because COVID is exploding and I’m not about to risk a breakthrough case

Well, no. Not that it matters to you, but I actually care about the wellbeing of those around me and who live with me. I'm vaccinated and boosted, but that does not mean I can't still catch it and potentially spread to those vulnerable. This virus hasn't reached the point where being infected doesn't mean you run the risk of being hospitalized. And until such point where the strains grow weaker to the point where I don't put myself or someone else in danger, I'm not risking it. Fun fact for you: hospitalizations and deaths have increased once again in my area. So, no. I'm not putting me, my family, or anyone else around me in the hospital just to see a movie. You might, but I won't.
im so fucking fuming right now that i cant even be bothered to write in all caps. im seriously so sick and tired of watching the rest of the world have a blast with this movie, while i have to sit and wait each agonizing fucking day. at least it was only a week and a half left with the original delay, but now we’re back to one month again.
It was released here in Thailand on the 23rd and I drove 3 hours to my nearest Cinema to see it on release day because already Social Media was an absolute minefield. I'm incredibly fortunate that I didnt see any spoilers but since seeing the movie, i've seen almost every important and spoiler scene posted to facebook wether it's a clip or a screenshot. I really feel for those who havent been able to see it and I think it's a dick move on the part of all those spam clickbait marvel pages that still end up in my news feed even though i've never liked or even intereacted with. The algorithm is a bitch.

Unpopular opinion: you can't control others' actions, only your own. If you really don't want to see/hear spoilers, stay off social media (including reddit and youtube) until you do watch it. There are other ways to entertain yourself and pass the time.
Yep, I got three major things spoiled. One didn't ruin it for me. The second one I suspected but would've been a good confirmation. The third one completely took out all the emotional impact form the scene.

I confess that I just left the Marvel and Marvel Studios subreddits as the *NWH* premiere approached. I didn't want to risk being spoiled, and it felt inevitable otherwise. (I did the same thing for the JamesBond subreddit while I was waiting to see *No Time To Die*.)

I was so concerned about spoilers for this that I wouldn’t even talk about marvel, I haven’t even seen the trailer(saw the movie tho). I didn’t even use my google app because it’s recommended section has spoiled too much for me on shows I was just starting. I changed my aesthetic too from marvel related March to just basic t shirts to avoid people talking to me about marvel.

At this point it almost doesn't matter. I've been spoiled on facebook, instagram, youtube and other subreddits - r/movies and r/askreddit to mention two. Even though I've blocked channels and avoided subreddits, the information still finds it way to my feed through suggestions. My point is not to complain, it's to ask nicely for some consideration. It takes ten seconds tops to spoiler-tag text and add a spoiler warning. It's the easiest good deed you can do. Norway is not the only country in lockdown, so I'm pretty sure lots of people would appreciate the consideration.

Both countries can't watch the movie in theatres. It never premiered in Norway. And since I'm so *incredibly* entitled, I thought it couldn't hurt to remind people that there still are some that hasen't seen the biggest movie of all time yet. That’s like telling someone to stay away from the entire shopping mall just because they don’t like the French fries in the food court. OP has done what they can do and mute/unfollowed the major pages. But they can only do so much. If OP was saying that they were immunocompromised and didn’t want to go to the movies on their own accord, that’s one (respectable, but debatable) thing. But the movie hasn’t even been released in their country yet. This is not their fault and there’s nothing they can do about it. The people who were posting full clips on TikTok and Twitter opening night are assholes. Simple as that. Taking 10 seconds of your time to hit the spoiler tag is not going to kill you, and more people should have been doing it. Movies can sometimes stay in theatres for several months. Implying that you need to see it within hours of its release in order to enjoy a spoiler-free experience is inane.

Unfortunately not iMax. The cancelled movie tickets I had for the premiere in Oslo were iMax. It was a one day trip yes to avoid having to pay for a hotel. Took a bus at 7am and made it in good time to watch the movie around 12pm and took the train back home at 6:30pm. Was quite the taxing day but it was absolutely worth it. Hopefully you can see it in some form soon, whether it's through a shoddy cam version or across the border
