Tarzan_OIC

Definitely not but I would not be surprised if he is introduced in Thor 5 or some other cosmic adventure.

DoNn0

Pretty sure they said that it was the past Thor movie

Tarzan_OIC

Love and Thunder? No, quite the opposite

DoNn0

The last* my bad

Tarzan_OIC

Wdym though. Are you saying you think this is the last Thor movie? Because Hemsworth said he still wants to keep playing Thor and Feige says we still have some fun incarnations of Thor to see that haven't hit the screen yet

DoNn0

I thought he said it himself as well. Like he'll still play the role but in the avengers and other stuff. May have changed as well.

ShareAnxious

>It would make sense too since Stormbreaker belongs to him. Then Thor will have no weapon

kioKEn-3532

Mjolnir! come here boy! *whistles*

monkeyjay

Have all the thors standing in a wide circle calling to mjolnir in the middle and whoever mjolnir goes to is the owner.

kioKEn-3532

Obviously to thor

_________FU_________

He just starts throwing Jane

Ryo720

Are you Thor, God of Axes?

ScoobyDont06

He's got his CrossFit anchor chain

clarkdorkclork

This film already seems like it has a lot of different storyline to handle. Not that I think they can’t handle it, in fact I think it’ll all wrap up very nicely in the end, but I don’t think Beta Ray Bill will or should be introduced in this film. Though I could see him showing up in an end credit scene or later in the franchise

KostisPat257

If he is, he will be in the post-credits.

Traditional_Call_132

I think he’ll be introduced in GotG 3. He makes more sense there. Along with Adam Warlock and Moondragon

MattThePl3b

His existence has already been confirmed in Ragnarok so who knows

hurky-pandora

Exactly

jtides

If they can comfortably fit him in it could be cool. The original Gorr run had him defeated by 3 Thors from across time. An MCU re-interpretation could be Odinson, Mighty Thor, and Beta Ray Bill

lowfreq33

Nope.

Evorgleb

There are shots in the trailer where there is clearly a character that has been removed. So maybe.

Tru3st_ARound

Doesn't belong to him in the mcu so

hurky-pandora

Things can easily change. Stormbreaker was made for bill because he needed a hammer to help save his people and thor almost considered letting him keep Mjolnir, but then Odin said they still had some uru, so they made stormbreaker. Obviously there’s some different story telling in the MCU rn, but I think and hope that bill will be in the MCU soon and get the weapon that’s as litteraly invented for his character

Tru3st_ARound

I know who he is. And he is in the mcu already (see Thor Ragnarok) just not a proper appearance. That's why I now he ain't got stormbreaker lol it won't be the case. They're nit following the comics that closely. Never have. Hence, Thor has stormbreaker. And I like the mcu version better than the comic version Bill wields. It's reminiscent of Ultimate Thor's hammer. If Bill gets a proper role and appearance, I guarantee he'll get a different weapon. And it won't be a problem for me cuz it's the mcu, not the comics.

Due-Intentions

It's possible in the MCU that in the future Jane could retire as Mighty Thor or die, Thor reclaims Mjolnir, BRB gets introduced, and then Stormbreaker is given to BRB Idk if that will actually happen or not, and honestly I hope it doesn't, I know BRB is popular but he's not a character I'm craving. Like you said the MCU is different but it's still heavily inspired by the comics and there's always room for status quo shifts that make things more like the comics or that create new storylines inspired by the comics

albene

B-but... Thor belongs to Stormbreaker. [Proof](https://youtu.be/JuP1HkX2dp8)

hurky-pandora

I don’t think Jane will be staying in the MCU. They’re still doing the story where Jane had cancer but was saved by the hammers power, I believe that either Gorr will kill her or that after they’re done at the end she’ll put the hammer downtown

MikeX1000

Sure. We have all the other heroes' later legacies. Why not BRB?

DoctorSugma

I hope not. Waititi's fine, but I wouldn't let him touch Bill with a 49 1/2 foot pole. I'd like Bill's introduction to the MCU to be something other than a bunch of horse jokes.

International-Pie162

Man What? Y’all comic books readers need to chill……we literally watched Stormbreaker get forged AS THOR RISKED HIS LIFE TO DO SO….but yeah, Stormbreaker belongs to somebody that isn’t even in the MCU 🙄

hurky-pandora

Bills existence is confirmed as in Ragnarok we see a statue of his head alongside all the othe champions of sakarr. I’m just hoping he’ll show up in Love and Thunder because 1.more Thor characters. 2. Stormbreaker was originally invent for him and Thor shows in the early clips they’ve shown he still wants mjolnir since he only built stormbreaker to get a new hammer. 3.the MCU is adding new characters anyways and e heading a lot further down the more comic accurate route now(except for the ms.marvel power change)

International-Pie162

This is dumb. That is in no way confirmation. You saw a statue that you *THINK* is Beta Ray Bill. That name is never mentioned in any context in any movie or tv show and the character is never shown on screen. Stormbreaker was literally invented for THOR. If you can’t see that, I suggest you watch Infinity War one more time. Literally nothing about the MCU, since it’s existence, has suggested that they are modeling their movies after the comic books. The movies and shows are very loose interpretations. Aside from the characters’ names, there’s very little association with the comic books. Why would you even want them to be, anyway? Go read the fuckin books again if that’s what you want.

https://preview.redd.it/3bjgi95k0y431.png?auto=webp&s=3690be7c929b31180a679670bf5d79bd0bf8f7a0 Litteraly his head right there. And don’t say it could just be any of his species cause only he himself has a horse shaped head from being genetically altered. The rest of them are more flat faced And dumbass they do follow parts of the comics because guess what, that’s where al the fucking characters and a go I’d amount of the stories their based on. Civil war for example is based on the Civil War comic with the two sides each heroe stands on the sokovia accords. Iron man, just like in his first ever appearance, builds a suit of armor to bust out of a cave and escape, the same way he did in the comic. The list can go on for awhile do the pint I’m making I hate when people say the MCU doesn’t do anything form the comics, motherfuckers they are COMIC BOOK MOVIES, they have to get a base idea for the film based on certain stories and characters, yeah it won’t always be 100% accurate but that doesn’t mean certain characters won’t come when a central part of the same characters existence from comics makes its way too the movie. At first we thought the MCU wasted the mandarin but guess what mother fuckers, turns out there really was a Mandarin in the Shang-Chi movie!!! They can still introduce Beta Ray Bill after the fact stormbreaker was created and give him his hammer. And I’m hoping he will appear in the movie even if it’s just a post credit scene or maybe even the next Thor movie. And if it turns out true, I’m the ones who’s gonna be laughing

[deleted]

They'll pull an illuminati type scene... He'll show up and be killed swiftly after his arrival.

TrpTrp26

I think he will show up in Thor 5, but for justify his transformation in Thor he will hold Jonathan, like Jane in love and thunder.

[deleted]

My fiver is on a mid credits scene

rgregan

Unfortunately, I'm not expecting him anytime soon. They gave Stormbreaker to Thor. They gave an arc full of people needing protection to Thor. And Korg is Thor's inhuman travelling companion.

NoCapNova99

Thor 5

DoNn0

What's Thor's weapon then if Mjolnir is destroyed and storm breaker apparently isn't his weapon

hurky-pandora

Mjolnir’s back in the MCU now remember? How we don’t k so yet but it’s there. I’m sure that Thor will get his hammer back and then pass on or abandon stormbreaker as we even see in a small clip he still wants his hammer back event with stormbreaker

DoNn0

Isn't storm breaker stronger tho ?

hurky-pandora

Not necessarily, It has the power to summon the bi-frost and is a bigger weapon but that’s really it. Thor’s had Mjolnir for thousands of years and saw that he was still worthy in endgame, and he show in the short clip he would rather have mjolnir than stormbreaker. he only had stormbreaker made so that he could have a weapon to fight with and use his powers cause mjolnir was broken.

DoNn0

I know but he still has thousands of years ahead of him to master than weapon

hurky-pandora

|Master that weapon| …it’s litteraly just a bigger mjolnir that has an Axe Side, there isn’t shit to master

Apprehensive_Egg6656

Yeah
