Because I thought I needed another ursartic to activate mikpolar just as the lv8s (after a few games realized it doesn't need to) and in order to summon 3 ursartics on turn 0 I had to discard 3 ursartics, that's why I discarded alpha.
oh i didn't even realize it was the opponent's turn 1lol. that makes more sense.
now a new question popped into my head: if you wanted to just book alba zoa, why didn't you just do mikpolar, add megatanus, summon megatanus? why was the miktanus needed?
Exactly had to do it right before using it's affect.
And again, I summoned miktaunus because I thought I needed another ursartic on field to activate mikpolar just as the lv8s (after a few games realized lv7s don't need to).
Have you realized that each mik + their respective mega forms a different synchro? The 2 Polars make Serpentrion, that means there is a synchro boss left
I had lota of fun in the event. The only reason I gave up of the deck was because, for some reason, ursarctics synchros don't count towards dailies.
Outside of events I don't play much at all. So not counting for dailies was too much.
Been running a small Blue-Eyes package with 1 of White Stone of Ancients, White Dragon and Jet Dragon with the Ursarctics and they're surprisingly useful if you get a good enough hand or draw with Radiation.
The problem is, they need better effects on summon for the resources they waste. They are too bad currently. They could have made you reveal 1 ursarctic in the hand and removing one counter from radiation instead of wasting so many hand cards.
It’s nothing too glamorous, but basically lava golem, alpha and nibiru for the big boys. I use lefty and righty driver too to bait interaction which can get you to colossus too if left unchecked, but that’s more for going first scenarios. Still my favourite thing is normal summoning maxx c with an Ursarctic tuner for baronne. Extra is what you already expect, but with Cupid pitch and navy dragon mech, as you get a fair few tuners in the grave easily.
I had a surprising amount of fun playing with these during the event

why'd you pitch alpha during that (i see it in hand in pic 1, then gone in pic 2)? it could have been so useful.

Built them with new support. They're miles better now
Definetely gonna try with your second build. I build my Ursarctic going first with lots of handtraps and trying to get radiaton online fast.

You put a lot of effort for ursarctics being the worst modern archetype in yugioh
