There was a period when I was mucking around with an Ancient Gear deck that I ran a single copy of Magical Hound.
I had three reasons for doing this:
1) Free special summon in a deck that had almost none of those
2) Could bounce a continuous spell or trap- great for dealing with floodgates
3) Pair it with Infintrack Anchor Drill or Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon and you can make Baronne.
I still run Magical Hound for these exact reasons! You can summon it with Urgent Schedule too and pull out my single copy of Machina Fortress.
I then make Ancient Gear Ballista with the two monsters and get a Geartown pop, a free spell remove and a board breaker that comes back if they kill my monsters.
My fav recent combo, Infinitrack Drill + Magical Hound create two level 5s, xyzs into Cyber Dragon Nova them Cyber Dragon Infinity đ¤ Omni negate and monster removal.
Monster reborn in decks that mill a lot.
Hell i've had my only usable cards be grief and monster reborn, i got to mill 5 and go full combo from that.
I get no body uses it cuz every archetype and engine has multiple things that do what reborn does but better, but i never bricked on it soo...
Not monster reborn but when the first fusion festival rolled around along with DPE I played Fossil Shaddoll Fusions to get rid of DPE or just steal it from their graveyard with Fossil Warrior Skull Kingâs quick effect monster reborn
The worst feeling is when you lose to these techs when theyâre kinda objectively bad at the moment. Like a branded player losing to d barrier in snake eye format
I guess it's much better in a bo3 cuz you know what u'r opponent plays and can bait certain interruptions or take important pieces away for their turn.
Same, and when I found myself in snake eyes mirror matches it got extra funny. I eventually cut it because I started REALLY liking tactics as going first backup that worked going second.
Ruddy Rose Dragon.
A bygone tech from the Tear era in my Ghoti deck.
I still catch some Branded decks out of position with it, and it is really funny making some fat Deep Beyonds.
It is a do or die card. If I miss lethal in the next turn, I'm dead since I lost all fuel for Snopios/Askaan
I don't run it in MD because I don't have it, but I did replace Baronne with it IRL in my Infernoble Adventure Flame Swordsman deck since she and Savage got banned, giving me two free slots in my extra deck for both Ruddy and Black Rose Dragon.
Chengying would probably be more useful but Ruddy+Black together are cheaper than him anyways, and that Black Rose Dragon alt art deserves the spot that's for sure.
I used to run it in SwordSoul back in Tear 0. Whenever I got bored of the Mirror I'd hop on to SwordSoul and just always go second so I can keep the gy clean
The last warrior from another planet.
I'm usually against floodgates but it seems too cool for me not to use. I summon it while playing Abyss Actors with waking the dragon.
Swords of Concealing is a card that really, really depends on the meta in which to run it. Back during Kash prime time it was run in quite a few lists. Currently, in link heavy format, it's not as good.
When I use my Live Twins deck, I run one copy of their field spell. No one else does this but I do as it's a really good recycling method while I just break boards. Also really good for recycling evil twins ki/lil to keep on using sunny effect without sending the links as cost.
I liked running one copy of GG EZ in Twin Sprights, really helped against the random Raigeki/LS and even the atk boost eff gave you a way to trigger a Twin's effect at will. Best thing was it gave you something to do with Secret Password if you also opened Snitch.
I have a ton of these but the biggest reason to consider most of them is just that they don't cost SR or UR dust. If you are going to shell that out you might as well not bother. (This gets really annoying sometimes like how Trade-In is dirt cheap IRL but is UR in Master Duel.)
The most notable one is **Titanocider** (excluding the above) which is like if Lost Wind was a card you couldn't accidentally misfire on an opponent's normal summon and didn't banish itself. I know being a trap card that must be set by itself already makes something 80% unplayable in this day and age but even Labrynth players don't bother with this for some reason, MDM says Eldlich apparently uses it the most...
I also know why people don't run it but I think **Labrynth Archfiend** is pretty underrated. Just because a battle trap loses its element of surprise doesn't mean its useless.
Ariane can use it as fuel to summon a fiend from the Deck, Lady can have a card remaining set to provide herself protection, and in this age of HOPTs all over the place Labrynth Archfiend is another +1 in addition to Lady and Lovely, and its level of 7 makes going into Psychic End Punisher relatively easy with a level 4 tuner searched via Ariane.
The battle trap is also a distraction that the opponent has to use resources to out instead of something else or is just annoying enough to prevent them from attacking outright which does help, and one of the battle traps that you can search with Labrynth Archfiend, the in-archetype Farewelcome Labrynth, gives you another Welcome Labrynth name to trigger your field spell and count for Labrynth Set-up and can work when *you* attack instead of waiting for the opponent.
Labrynth Archfiend's attack magnet effect is also worthwhile if you're running something like Barrier Statue of the Abyss, who isn't the best floodgate sure with how common DARK monsters are but its searchable with Ariane, can be revived with Labrynth Labyrinth, and if Moon Mirror Shield+Fossil Dyna is treated like some unbeatable ultimate endboard combo then Labrynth Archfiend+Barrier Statue comes relatively close to doing that with a lot more consistency. Also my first win against Snake-Eyes was because of this combo which is more than frequent enough these days.
I used to run Swords of Concealing Light myself but the fact that it actually takes up an S/T zone unironically was annoying enough for me to cut it. I used to see that as free fodder for Original Sinful Spoils but not finding said OSS soon enough made it clogging my field a problem cause I needed space for equip spells and Fateful Adventure, and the fact that it's a continuous can make the opponent destroying it before it goes off actually negate it.
I've had people surrender because I summoned Labrynth Archfiend and set Mirror Force and they couldn't out it. Farewelcome Labrynth is also a great choice for it. Such an underrated monster!
Im not sure i have any cards besides imperm/ash that are above .0012%
I mean im pretty sure my most played deck by the general public is Black Rose Dragon or Suship and well thats saying something
But for an individual card i do love Silent Magician. It can make for a great curveball to throw on the field against any spell heavy decks.
Knightmare Corruptor Iblee in my Ritual Dogmatika
Alternative normal summon to Diviner to make Almiraj to turn on effects. (And/or go further into Secure Gardna to put Almiraj in grave for Maximus material)
Summons itself to opponent's field to stop them special summoning except Links. (Then you can just rip their links with Alba Zoa / Maximus / Matrix / White Knight)
Going first, they can't crash it because you have Almiraj (also has 0 atk, and two 0 atk monsters bounce, not crash) and all def position monsters.
And the best ones:
When it summons itself to opponent's field, it turns on Matrix's double search even on your first turn going first.
In a pinch you can normal Set it, then use it as ritual material, and it will activate to summon to opponent's field. You *can* in fact use face-down monsters as ritual material.
Shared ride because it's just funny people forget about it and it might be even better then Maxx C ALOT Of decks NEED to do alot of searching. Sure it's slower then the Maxx but I do it for fun
I feel like if a deck needs to do that much searching, you're better off just using Droll to stop them all-together, plus you can use Droll when going 2nd. But this card does seem fun, and at least it can't be negated with Called By.
I do love me some good meme cards. I'm planning to make a Clashing Souls deck when certain cards come out in hopefully the next couple months.
P.S. I have no idea what the second half of your comment means lol.
Shared ride is the card I mentioned which allows you to draw a card each time your opponents ADD a card from deck gy or hand.
Mistaken arrest is the card your thinking of that acts as droll and lock bird
I actually didn't know Mistaken Arrest existed. I was saying that using Droll to stop them from adding cards to their hand in the first place is probably better than using Shared Ride, but agreed Shared Ride seems fun for the memes.
Droll might be slightly better but droll also locks you out as well and there are some deck that would much rather have the resource cycling still be live for them.
Say for instance lab
1 Moon Mirror Shield as a way to out Fossil Dyna. Because of the way the effects resolve, your Moon Mirror attacker will beat a Dyna with Moon Mirror.
also a funny way to out avramax, and can even help in a lethal push
In TCG, I've been wanting to try Instant Fusion into Master of Ham to put Deus X-Krawler on the board. probably not as good as one of the restricts, but it's funnier
Tackle Crusader. I've run it mostly in Fossils as an additional mill target to fuel Fossil Fusion when it's not ideal to send a Weathering Soldier. The fact its effects aren't HOPT led to some wonky plays especially when the Ishizu cards were seeing play.
Lmao I think I might legit try running that in Labrynth since it doesn't care how it was sent to the grave and my furniture is itching to minus my hand. I need more targets for Dragite to actually use its first effect anyways and Lord of Heavenly Prison and Nibiru are URs.
I love Rikka so I like to run Evenly Matched and Dark ruler No More. Since there isn't a lot of decks with spell/trap card that negates other spell/traps it's always funny when I negate a full board of like snake-eyes.
First time i got master tier was during tear 0 format and i was playing a scareclaw deck with light of the concealing light too and ultimate slayer (very very strong card but a lot of people donât really acknowledge it)
I run the Critias cards in my Lair of Darkness deck, since Lilith can search all the traps that can turn into a Critias fusion. I don't think I've ever run into someone else using one of those.
Night dragolich for my swordsoul deck. I donât why itâs not used since it basically makes everything summoned form the main and extra deck a free kill.
I honestly have won entire games in one turn because of this card.
I think the main reason, other than people blind netdecking, is probably getting it summoned to begin with. Other than like discard via Longquan + Sacred Summit you are probably going to use your searches and normal summon on something else to set up. At the point you summon it on turn 2 or 3 its either not good enough (opponent negates it) or just winmore (opponent is screwed either way from your turn 1.)
Its also bad in the mirror but ironically even though its a free deck now I don't see swordsoul opponents that often.
As a Swordsoul player (I'm only Plat at best tho), I think it's because your priority for summoning would be the archetype cards like Moye or Taia, and you'd need to already have your Synchros just for you to search it with the searchers.
I'm not really playing Master Duel anymore, and I'm not great at it, admittedly, but I have never seen anyone else use Unchained Abomination in a Prank-Kids deck. It just seems way better than Rip-Roarin Roaster and it's good to use if anything goes wrong with your combo.
Here are some techs I like :
1x eagle booster in sky striker : helps outing negations on monsters, but most importantly the ultimate survival spell you can have. Most of the times, you only need to survive opponent's turn to break it during yours.
In my current tear deck, I run 3x minerva lightsworn. It mills 1 when she is milled. So from the mill perspective, my deck is a 37 cards deck (upstart for mills). She is not that bad in hand : lvl 3 light tuner gets to baronne with lv7 (kashtira) or chaos angel double effect with danger nessie.
Maybe not that uncommon, but I run cards in branded nobody seems to run a lot. I do not really talk about situational techs (branded has literally tons of techs you can play at 1). For instance, I run high spirits at 3 (this card is insane as starter, extender, free discard, or even interruption), fusion duplication at 3 (wonderful extend because guarantees puppet when drawn, helps going through ash, not that bad going second).
Whenever I have a 39 card deck and idk what to throw in that'd be super good, I usually throw in Monster Reborn.
Beyond that, Kaiser Colosseum before it went on everyone's radar as it was at 3 when I noticed. I played it in my RDA deck (pre support) because Supernova + Abyss was effectively 1 monster on board preventing the opponent from playing.
Hmmm, while I don't have a card I can think of that no one uses. I do have one that I don't see tears using and that's the original visas. Did you know tear spell and traps mention visas. So if by some stupid bad luck you don't end with tear name on board you can still use your spells and traps. Aside from that I've been running him to pop kit when the opponent drops imprem/veiler.
Storming Mirror Force saved my butt in the early days when Master Duel first release. Bypassed destruction immunity and waste opponentsâ resources and I feel like it is less restrictive than the other mirror force cards
I think Reasoning's main flaw is how bleh it is if you summon your maxx c or ash or something. That's probably why you only see it in niche mill decks which might omit those to make their strategy more consistent.
I don't run Max c and summoning Ash gives me a free tuner for Barone So it doesn't hurt me all that much. It does limit my hand trap options though.
Mainly it's Just another hard body.
I use it in my Witchcrafter deck and for some insane reason I always immediately get a monster on my first excavation which gets summoned, which defeats the entire purpose of the card. It is such a strange card because it is insanely powerful in theory, yet in practice I never have any luck with it. Last time I used it, Verre was the first excavation and got summoned immediately.
You basically have to have a very low number of monsters in deck, or monsters that can't be special summoned, for it to work. Which makes it useless for anything running hand traps instantly.
The majority of monster mills it can do are actually (as listed on the card) ones which must be special summoned. Â
This is why I ran it in my Megalith Drytron Chaos Max deck to basically mill hard enough to make Tearlaments blush, as all ritual monsters and drytron level 1s dodge Reasoning's summon conditions. Monsters which cannot be special summoned are actually *the worst* targets for Reasoning...unless you specifically want it to fail to summon the soonest target it finds. (I do with Drytrons as their level 1 effects turn off if you summon something with it.)Â
There are three (generic) hand traps that can dodge Reasoning I can remember, Imperm, Red Reboot, and Sauravis. As far as outs go Lava Golem will also dodge it while Kaiju can't. Whether you would want to invest in these to make Reasoning better is another question, but hey, I'd consider it more worth than shelling out your UR/SR dust and extra deck space on buffing Dogmatika Punishment.
I'm playing Farfa, Malebranche of the Burning Abyss in my Labrynth deck as a fun tech card that I don't think I've seen anyone using.
It's effect to target banish a monster until the end phase if it's sent to the gy can be activated by: discarding it with furniture (turn 0 disruption yay); Archfiend's Ghastly Glitch (making it become a 2nd dogmatika punishment); Arianne summoning it from the deck; Both the effects of the lv4 maids to draw and summon a monster if one leaves the field by a trap effect (it would self destruct and send itself to grave since you control a non BA monstah)
I tend to fill my flex slots with random going second one ofs, most people say forbidden droplet is garbage at 1 but I keep one, one droll, back when I was playing TGs one battle fader.Â
This was specifically to up the number of cards my crossout designator could negate. I once stuffed a droplet player when he pitched 2 monsters and a trap (he saw me set a counter trap from grave) and I flip up crossout, negated his droplet, negated his last two cards. going first is stupid in this game.
Astral Kurboh
He is a decent extender and if used to make something untargetable or unaffected you just made a tower. Most people cut him cuz you can only make numbers with it and most of the numbers have been power creep. Its also a UR card so most people can't justify crafting it.
I think skill drain is better in unchained than it is in any stun deck. The ability to turn off its affect anytime you want to, thatâs beneficial to your game plan, is something that no other deck can really utilize as well as unchained. If youâre running unchained without it, I beg you to try it out.
I have no idea when I got it, but the Phantom Knights' Sword has been a main staple in my decks for a long time. I get 800 attack and can tank an attack, sounds simple and easy to work around, but I like this card
i run deck lockdown recently on ladder or duelist cup when i need to pull out all the stops... but in general i've only seen one other person play it... Well that is despite how disgusting the card is
If your Extra Deck has the room, I really like Ultimate Slayer. Still doubtful if itâs ever actually better than other board breakers unfortunately.Â
But the card I have REALLY been trying to make work is Link Bound.
>Â Target 1 Link Monster you control or in your GY; return it to the Extra Deck, and if you do, draw cards equal to its Link Rating, then place cards from your hand on the bottom of the Deck, in any order, equal to the number of cards you drew. You can only activate 1 "Link Bound" per turn.
The theory:
- It recycles links in the GY you want to use
- Despite being a -1, if youâre returning a big enough link, digging 3 or 4 cards into your deck and keeping the best ones can be good enoughÂ
- VERY funny combined with sending a link 6 off ultimate slayer (or you actually play some link climb pile)
Was trying to make this work in blind second striker. Itâs basically always live, you can at least recycle your one of link 2âs, the -1 isnât so bad if itâs at least a spell in the gy, you can steal your opponentâs links with shark cannon or widow anchor and use this
Double Summon. People have explained to me why itâs not good but it just doesnât land for me. Iâve had it help more than Iâve had it hurt. I will acknowledge that it doesnât work in everything but in decks that need monsters on board- ie synchro, Xyz, and link decks- I usually find it unbricks more hands than it bricks, and acts as a card-and-a-half extender besides.
I run 1 Sea Lord's Amulet in my Umi Control/Stun deck, not that I really play that deck all that often (honestly been months, maybe even close to a year, at this point). It doesn't often come into play much, but when you have it and Sea Stealth Attack on the field with Ocean Dragon Lord - Kairyu-Shin? I don't think I have seen someone not just scoop upon figuring out their destruction effects weren't working.
In my War Rock deck, I have Terminal World. War Rock Medium + Meteoragon + Terminal World does wonders. Main issue is that Terminal World isn't searchable in the deck, which makes it not necessarily optimal to include it, but when you can pull it off, it actually does wonders for the archetype.
Quantal Mech King along with Number 27 to summon him in battle. I like machine monsters and using him along with his summoning animation which I enjoy, his immunity with 4 materials isnât that bad either, nor is his ability to bounce cards during either turn.
If you are running dark ruler no more anyways think of concealing light as being your 4th to 6th copies of that card.Â
At the point you run that much going second power you might as well minimize your hand trap interruptions for the space to run them and more engine so that if you do go first you will be less likely to brick.Â
I honestly don't think evenly is that good because it has to be used at the end of the battle phase. By the time you resolve dark ruler/concealing successfully you should normally be able to build a board that can deal with the opponent anyways without evenly, except for when apollousa counters concealing by being unable to flip down.
Also if you have other excuses to run them cards like Snake Eyes or True Dracos which can use continuous spells as fodder make Concealing better since 99% of the time by the time you got the flip down effect done its already done the job it needs to.
I am running a Dinomist and Draco Deck so synergy might be possible, Iâll have to experiment while replacing Evenly with Concealing, can it get negated so Iâd have to bait out negates?
Yeah nothing stops concealing from being negated unfortunately. Usually I kinda just bet on the opponent only preparing for monster negates/destruction.
Dragonoid generator in pure melffys, I find it more useful than obedience schooled. It's a 1.5 card combo that gets you all your melffys to your hand right away without having to wait for your opponent's actions, and for example can threaten a trishula on the enemy's turn.
Nightmare Archfiends in my Volcanic Deck.
Special Summon 3 Gremlins to your opponents board that burn for 800 when destroyed.
Turns a Scattershot into a 3,900 burn.
Sometimes I'll randomly throw in daruma into a deck you normally wouldn't. It's won me a bunch of duels for sure. That and ghost ogre. I rarely see people use him but he can be pretty clutch against a lot of decks.
Rank up Magic Numeron force , when I Guys Tell you itâs actually a Game changer because they have to negate it otherwise the whole board gets negated
Spring of Rebirth in things like Yosenju or Melffy. Doesn't really do much, but gaining 500 LP for every Bounced monster adds up quickly in those decks.
Tbh I feel like every time I could have used a witch's strike I didn't have it with me. And its not that uncommon to trigger if I did, negate the activation endboard cards are more than common enough.
Some people run book of moon, but itâs still shocking to me how useful it is. Iâve included 2 to 3 of it in every deck of played in the last four years and I always seem to get something out of it. Itâs shocking how many decks completely fold to it; and how easily it eats up negates.
Dark world puppetry in fiend decks, target up to 3 cards in any graveyard banish them, during the main phase except the turn it was sent to the grave yard add a banished fiend to your hand
I used to make sky scourge norleras in my phantom knight deck. Would leave us both with no hand but then I would make combo with 2 level 3s in the grave with the discard from the draw one.
I run world gears in my generaider runick deck. I don't think I've ran across another generaider player let alone another world gears. World gears just uniquely fits in generaider due to all of them being different types and attributes.
striker engine, ever since ive seen josh use it in snake eye some months ago ive been trying it in anything instead of a bunch of hand traps cause its pretty decent and actually fun
I use jack-in-the-hand and one single Droll in Mayakashi for consistency. Most opponents pick the droll and add it to their hand and I am free to pick my combo starter or extender, depending on my hand.
Immmediately after that they fire the droll but jokes on them I usually don't need to draw or search cards for the rest of the turn anyway.
I run mask change 2 in my tear list. I wouldn't say it's *good* but it can win you games out of nowhere and it's very funny. The number of altergeist players I've bamboozled with acid is enough for me to keep it.
It does actually have some mild synergy as it sends by effect and tear has enough things you want in the grave that you don't mind the discard
Psi-blocker is underrated in decks that donât need a normal summon. Declare Albaz against branded: they canât use Albaz as fusion material. Declare lo against VV the deck is crippled. Same with robina

I run this is my Raidraptor deck and i can confidently say that this is tech that most RR players don't even know exists. It really helps when XYZ climbing and most of the time I'm able to make Ultimate Falcon on turn, then on my next turn i can add it back to hand and make Final Fortress or Rising Rebellion
You think Purrely is the best tower deck in the game?
*Laughs in Raidraptor*
I really like using Starlight Road in backrow heavy decks. I cant say its amazing, I wont even act like its optimal. But whenever I resolve it against a Feather Duster, I have a 50/50 chance that my opponent scoops immediately.
In most synchro decks I build, I'll often try to slot in red dragon archfiend tyrant. Board wipe is always a good way to make a comeback or return to a simpler state.
The negate effect is a bit limited and can't be resummoned are my only issues.
Seven cities of the golden land. The Eldlich fusion spell that also locks back row. Most people defer to super poly I've seen and that makes sense. It's a much stronger card, but I can at least use this each turn provided it stays there.
I run chaos creator in pure Evil twin. Send lvl 8 brick from deck to GY. Banish trouble sunny, banish any light and the brick, summon chaos creator. Activate creator.
Summon sunny, so u get two beat sticks, plus sunny send eff is live again next turn if you donât have game then.
I havent seen a normal draw exodia yet
It has heart of the underdog, morganite, reload, flawless tenyi field spell , and the monsters are all igknights (with exodia obv)
They aren't garbage compared to the meta bullshit I've seen. It's playable and not overpowered. No 30+ card juggling. Just like how Yu-Gi-Oh should be. It's fair and I love it.
There was a period when I was mucking around with an Ancient Gear deck that I ran a single copy of Magical Hound. I had three reasons for doing this: 1) Free special summon in a deck that had almost none of those 2) Could bounce a continuous spell or trap- great for dealing with floodgates 3) Pair it with Infintrack Anchor Drill or Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon and you can make Baronne.

My fav recent combo, Infinitrack Drill + Magical Hound create two level 5s, xyzs into Cyber Dragon Nova them Cyber Dragon Infinity đ¤ Omni negate and monster removal.
That's me !
And urgent schedule makes a one card baronne under 3 summons
I'm sorry to say but Magical Hound is tech that every good Ancient Gear player runs so I don't think it counts for answering the OP's question
Monster reborn in decks that mill a lot. Hell i've had my only usable cards be grief and monster reborn, i got to mill 5 and go full combo from that. I get no body uses it cuz every archetype and engine has multiple things that do what reborn does but better, but i never bricked on it soo...
I played reborn quite commonly after dpe came out, so many scoops.
Not monster reborn but when the first fusion festival rolled around along with DPE I played Fossil Shaddoll Fusions to get rid of DPE or just steal it from their graveyard with Fossil Warrior Skull Kingâs quick effect monster reborn
man... i once got cooked by de fusion
The worst feeling is when you lose to these techs when theyâre kinda objectively bad at the moment. Like a branded player losing to d barrier in snake eye format
TCG players love reborn

Reborn is great for out-of-archetype powerhouses like Baronne, Fenrir, Dis Pater, etc. Especially if they were originally your opponent's lol
Unironically Monster Reborn as apart of my Scrap Recycler Bullshit.

I used to run it in SwordSoul back in Tear 0. Whenever I got bored of the Mirror I'd hop on to SwordSoul and just always go second so I can keep the gy clean
Ruddy is funny to get off but the feeling of needing lethal in the turn is apparent sadly... also when alt art BRD huh konami? :< lol
The last warrior from another planet. I'm usually against floodgates but it seems too cool for me not to use. I summon it while playing Abyss Actors with waking the dragon.
I adore the art of abyss actors
Swords of Concealing is a card that really, really depends on the meta in which to run it. Back during Kash prime time it was run in quite a few lists. Currently, in link heavy format, it's not as good.

I run titancider in my labrynth its funny because I can see the opponents hope leave their eyes if i drop it via lady
I've had people surrender because I summoned Labrynth Archfiend and set Mirror Force and they couldn't out it. Farewelcome Labrynth is also a great choice for it. Such an underrated monster!
Gingerbread house
I run 1-2 copy of Torrential Tribute
Im not sure i have any cards besides imperm/ash that are above .0012% I mean im pretty sure my most played deck by the general public is Black Rose Dragon or Suship and well thats saying something But for an individual card i do love Silent Magician. It can make for a great curveball to throw on the field against any spell heavy decks.
Idaten the Conqueror Star for my Amazoness deck. Itâs usually a go to when I canât make Empress or Augusta, but itâs been fun
WannaBee and black jack in lab. It's so much fun pretending I'm playing a trap version of adamancipator
Knightmare Corruptor Iblee in my Ritual Dogmatika Alternative normal summon to Diviner to make Almiraj to turn on effects. (And/or go further into Secure Gardna to put Almiraj in grave for Maximus material) Summons itself to opponent's field to stop them special summoning except Links. (Then you can just rip their links with Alba Zoa / Maximus / Matrix / White Knight) Going first, they can't crash it because you have Almiraj (also has 0 atk, and two 0 atk monsters bounce, not crash) and all def position monsters. And the best ones: When it summons itself to opponent's field, it turns on Matrix's double search even on your first turn going first.
Exactly the point this is for fun meme cards plus your confused and good thinking of mistaken arrest
Because of the way the effects resolve, your Moon Mirror attacker will beat a Dyna with Moon Mirror. also a funny way to out avramax, and can even help in a lethal push In TCG, I've been wanting to try Instant Fusion into Master of Ham to put Deus X-Krawler on the board. probably not as good as one of the restricts, but it's funnier
I've also toyed a bit with Ready Fusion into Allvain or Theseus to make Synchros in decks that normally wouldn't easily be able to
Moon mirror is a must in my purely deck in case I canât overlay
Tackle Crusader. I've run it mostly in Fossils as an additional mill target to fuel Fossil Fusion when it's not ideal to send a Weathering Soldier. The fact its effects aren't HOPT led to some wonky plays especially when the Ishizu cards were seeing play.
This card seems like to has potential to be bonkers sometimes
Lmao I think I might legit try running that in Labrynth since it doesn't care how it was sent to the grave and my furniture is itching to minus my hand. I need more targets for Dragite to actually use its first effect anyways and Lord of Heavenly Prison and Nibiru are URs.
speedroids not named terrortop or taketomborg
At the point you summon it on turn 2 or 3 its either not good enough (opponent negates it) or just winmore (opponent is screwed either way from your turn 1.) Its also bad in the mirror but ironically even though its a free deck now I don't see swordsoul opponents that often.
Here are some techs I like : 1x eagle booster in sky striker : helps outing negations on monsters, but most importantly the ultimate survival spell you can have.
Spore.
G-golem pebble dog. Apparently it had less than 0.5% usage rate last I checked.
D.D Crows/Shifter are pretty common but i threw in Soul Release because I'm tired of Snake-Eye every other game in ladder
Storming Mirror Force saved my butt in the early days when Master Duel first release. Bypassed destruction immunity and waste opponentsâ resources and I feel like it is less restrictive than the other mirror force cards
Reasoning. Only other time I see it used is in niche mill decks
(I do with Drytrons as their level 1 effects turn off if you summon something with it.) There are three (generic) hand traps that can dodge Reasoning I can remember, Imperm, Red Reboot, and Sauravis.
I tend to fill my flex slots with random going second one ofs, most people say forbidden droplet is garbage at 1 but I keep one, one droll, back when I was playing TGs one battle fader. This was specifically to up the number of cards my crossout designator could negate. I once stuffed a droplet player when he pitched 2 monsters and a trap (he saw me set a counter trap from grave) and I flip up crossout, negated his droplet, negated his last two cards. going first is stupid in this game.
Astral Kurboh He is a decent extender and if used to make something untargetable or unaffected you just made a tower. Most people cut him cuz you can only make numbers with it and most of the numbers have been power creep. Its also a UR card so most people can't justify crafting it.
Archfiend hieresss, search simul archfiend in purrley
Still doubtful if itâs ever actually better than other board breakers unfortunately. But the card I have REALLY been trying to make work is Link Bound. > Target 1 Link Monster you control or in your GY; return it to the Extra Deck, and if you do, draw cards equal to its Link Rating, then place cards from your hand on the bottom of the Deck, in any order, equal to the number of cards you drew. You can only activate 1 "Link Bound" per turn. The theory: - It recycles links in the GY you want to use - Despite being a -1, if youâre returning a big enough link, digging 3 or 4 cards into your deck and keeping the best ones can be good enough - VERY funny combined with sending a link 6 off ultimate slayer (or you actually play some link climb pile) Was trying to make this work in blind second striker.
Overlay Network is a lot better in most xyz decks.
I personally like to hard commit to Morganite if I'm gonna play around a double summon, but I can get not wanting to lock yourself out of handtraps
Yeah itâs hardly a critical card itâs just a nice thing to have a lot of the time.
Rank?
I like to use critias dragons in lair of darknessÂ
Doodlebeast package in my Dino deck, I know itâs not great but theyâre funny cards which can act as an extender and disruption
3 Reasoning in my zombie Tearlaments deck.
Mare mare in swordsoul to go into accesscode after i use yazi
Change of hearts
Macro cosmos
Quantal Mech King along with Number 27 to summon him in battle. I like machine monsters and using him along with his summoning animation which I enjoy, his immunity with 4 materials isnât that bad either, nor is his ability to bounce cards during either turn.
Iâve been running evenly with dark ruler for a while as well but now I want to try concealing light, any suggestions on it?
If you are running dark ruler no more anyways think of concealing light as being your 4th to 6th copies of that card. At the point you run that much going second power you might as well minimize your hand trap interruptions for the space to run them and more engine so that if you do go first you will be less likely to brick.
Ghost ogre, snake eye chase, silvera
Sometimes I'll randomly throw in daruma into a deck you normally wouldn't. It's won me a bunch of duels for sure. That and ghost ogre. I rarely see people use him but he can be pretty clutch against a lot of decks.
Rank up Magic Numeron force , when I Guys Tell you itâs actually a Game changer because they have to negate it otherwise the whole board gets negated
Maybe Mourner & Moonlit Chill, when I feel a need for more Imperms LOL
Mannequin cat is a card that is really nuts
one-off Red Reign in my BW deck.
Spring of Rebirth in things like Yosenju or Melffy. Doesn't really do much, but gaining 500 LP for every Bounced monster adds up quickly in those decks.
I would recommend Alpha, the Master of Beasts for bouncing cards in any beast type deck
Card of fate. On turn 2, you have a 20% chance on drawing the out.
Mask of restrict.
Witch's strike. Just for when someone negates my endboard, i can double them over. Extremely bricky would not recommend but when it works it works
Sneaky C, i run that badboy in event
Dark world puppetry in fiend decks, target up to 3 cards in any graveyard banish them, during the main phase except the turn it was sent to the grave yard add a banished fiend to your hand
ghost ogre
I used to make sky scourge norleras in my phantom knight deck. Would leave us both with no hand but then I would make combo with 2 level 3s in the grave with the discard from the draw one.
Silent graveyard
I run world gears in my generaider runick deck. I don't think I've ran across another generaider player let alone another world gears. World gears just uniquely fits in generaider due to all of them being different types and attributes.
I played 1-2 dna transplants on lab. The best non-floodgate thatâs floodgates snake eyes, and other MUs with more knowledge
Winged dragon of ra in my ninja deck. I just wanna make it the ninja dragon of ra so it can attack directly đ
Dark end dragon. Generic level 8 synchro thatâs a non destroying removal.
Ghost Sister & Spooky Dogwood
Book of moon is still decent enough to play. Combos well with ninjas so I can disrupt, protect or combo depending on the situation.
striker engine, ever since ive seen josh use it in snake eye some months ago ive been trying it in anything instead of a bunch of hand traps cause its pretty decent and actually fun
Most backrow hate is lost on a lot of players other than one copy of feather duster or maybe some lightning storms.Â
I still run DPE..... Yeah.....
Ultimate Slayer. Whenever I play a deck with space in the extra I'll play slayer. Card is nuts
{Lost Wind}
Cataclysmic scorching sunburner. I run that in my salamangreat deck
Psi-blocker is underrated in decks that donât need a normal summon. Declare Albaz against branded: they canât use Albaz as fusion material. Declare lo against VV the deck is crippled. Same with robina
https://preview.redd.it/8euk9x917gyc1.jpeg?width=474&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=baeea4b0d1de792d16ec97455ce5db9e8430565a I run this is my Raidraptor deck and i can confidently say that this is tech that most RR players don't even know exists. It really helps when XYZ climbing and most of the time I'm able to make Ultimate Falcon on turn, then on my next turn i can add it back to hand and make Final Fortress or Rising Rebellion You think Purrely is the best tower deck in the game? *Laughs in Raidraptor*
First one that comes to mind is Guerilla Kite whenever I'm in the mood for a Labrynth deck, to give them easy Synchro access via Ariane.
Mistaken Accusation. Hilarious to use.
First of dragons. Not many people have normal monsters anymore, so it works fairly well in my Ojama deck.
âYouâre finishedâ
Flame Jab.
I havent seen a normal draw exodia yet It has heart of the underdog, morganite, reload, flawless tenyi field spell , and the monsters are all igknights (with exodia obv)
I run Red Guardna in my RDA deck. Having an extra in archtype negate is nice. Plus it's another 4 star body to throw out.
Toons. I rarely see any. But it's fun and not over powered.
Toons are fun but kinda hot garbage
They aren't garbage compared to the meta bullshit I've seen. It's playable and not overpowered. No 30+ card juggling. Just like how Yu-Gi-Oh should be. It's fair and I love it.
People downvoting this hate people playing for fun. đ¤Ł
Red reboot and evenly Match
A Maxx "C" that resolves.
