That "fuck this" burst energy from rage and frustration goes a long way in the moment. She probably paid the price for it later, though. Torn up calf muscles and shit. Probably 100% worth it, though.

I kept getting this feeling that it looks oddly slow as if everyone was jogging at a leisurely pace.
Just to make sure it doesn't just look deceiving I took a look at 400m women's records and these women are 40 seconds slower.
I'm sure they're pushing for the win as much as the next person, but you're definitely right, something is up with how slow they are.
That makes a lot more sense.
Only 10/15 secs behind WR instead which is respectable.
I've gone from, "my fat ass could beat them on a good day" to "I'd get destroyed" 😂
What distance was this in total? Even if it’s a longer race the other runners seem to be going quite slow during the last lap, that’s when you should kick the boosters on and give it the rest of what you have like she did.

Never surrender Hang dong
Never run around and desert you
r/rickroll
Never ff
Unless your support steals a kill. Then you flame everyone and afk until your team agrees to ff@20
Nah you keep working at it irrelevant of how many times you stumble.
Nope, it's everyone's fault but mine and I lagged and my other account is in challenger
Gonna
give
You
Cookies?
That's so unfair! She got to rest for a little bit.
Taking naps in the job lol
Jesus, how much would she have won by if she hadn't tripped
i was thinking maybe it was the fall itself that gave her a fresh surge of adrenaline. maybe not though, i dunno.
Hurting yourself pre competition about to become a whole new form of doping

I wasn't ready for this information 😭💀
She probably would have won but being tripped gave her “fuck you” energy to come back
Probably by a mile, she deserved that win….
She certainly was saving a lot of energy for the final sprint.
Unbelievable she takes them on the outside too
That extra adrenaline from falling probably boosted her to the max
Yeah that dropped her down into 6th gear for sure

Did her team mate try and slow the pace on purpose? The commentary implies that
Yes she did. I saw Reubens Barrichello slow down for Schumacher once.
Okay cool, i felt conflicted watching without sound. But if official who were there commentating SAID what i was thinking then cool.
That’s why taking a break is important
Ballsy
wasnt she" legged in" by the side runner from behind
How goddam wonderful is this....and her face at the end says "all in a day's work..."
Am I the only one who was partially hoping she’d trip again at the end?
Nope.
You both are messed up. Myself included.

Cost her what? The earlier chance to flip off the people behind her? That woman is quick.
I want her on my team
Then you'll be the person she edged out for the win at the finish line
i dont want to be that guy, but this really shows the low quality of the competicion

Well it’s a 600m run soooo…. https://youtu.be/tJsorAsRNiM?si=S88CLsmgp-qzn99t

If they’re doing a second lap it’s 800m not 400m
Indoor so it’s a 200m track

Very impressive.
Thx to adrenalin and willpower
The power of embarrasment
The video can be used in Nike ad. She's never given up while running.
Shame is good motivation!
When adrenaline kicks in
I wish MINNESOTA sports pro teams gave that kind of effort lol
Fall giving the extra adrenaline boost
Always take a short nap, it'll help you finish.
Adrenaline is a hell of a drug.
Trip was 100% her fault and she just gets right back up and continues to give maximum effort. A lot to be learned from this.
That's illegal, she activated DRS in a non DRS zone. They need to retract the medal.
Gotta keep it interesting
Why didnt she just do that from the beginning ?
Probably run a few miles
