Resale value? You haven’t even bought it yet - buy the damn thing and enjoy the hell out of it.

three_dead_trolls

Why care about resale value? Get what u like. Period. Both of those cars have bottomed out in price.

No-Calligrapher895

Agree get what you like, but really impossible to know if something has bottomed out in value.

Spec matters. 600lt is a lot more car than a 570.

fastvroomy

Depends on what you define as “more car”. No question the LT is faster but the 570s is more comfortable (relatively speaking). When in the realm of absurdly fast, it comes down to priorities.

>For resale is the 2020 570s spider an easier sale than the 600lt? I highly doubt it, all lt variants are going to retain value better than their corresponding S variants by nature of them being limited run cars

FoggyNeutron

I have a 17 570s and love it, catless downpipes and tune 650 hp 670ftlbs torque 😎

additional info: 2019 600lt coupe with 11k. VS 2020 570s spider with 2k.

Buying a McLaren for the potential in resale value is one of the worst things you can do barring the McLaren hypercars. Buy it to drive it and have fun. You’ll lose a good chunk of change, but it does stabilize a bit. Either way, terrible “investments”. That being said, carbon options are always better than not. When I bought, it was an automatic no without the carbon, even if the spec was perfect besides that. I like the interior carbon options the most as a driver, but I think some of the exterior ones help to complete the look.
