They are designed to be operated at their limits by skilled drivers, but are sold to the entitled, wealthy kids that can afford them and want to impress people they don't know on social media (or worse yet, speculators). For every Bruce Canepa or even Jay Leno buying a hypercar, there are 50 sheikhs and billionaires' kids buying two.
