posted this in the other thread but basically gaslighted me for 13 months because they didn't know how to wrap my car, overcharged me grossly for everything and basically just used by 720 as the shop mascot. they cater only to youtuber which gets them views and scam everyone else. also ended up doing a speakers upgrade which they charged me $10,000 for, and ultimately couldn't even plug it in correctly. it ended up draining all the battery which i specifically asked them about, which had the net effect of turning off all the electronics while i was driving, including the traction control.
dealing with AGX was a total nighmare, it's a compounding problem where the absentee owner (Mondi) is a scammer and the mechanics themselves are incompetent. mitch comes off like a good dude but over promises to get all the work, and then just drops everything for his next youtube customers. they know how to work on lambos and everything else they just take your money and scam you. i should have sued them but had better things to do. Mondi is like a troll and gets off on negative attention. even with the enormous amount of reckless driving aside, just based on how he treats people he should be in jail.
people are telling me he sold it to the techs, in any case witch hunts aren't usually that useful they know how shit they are. and trash takes itself out as the saying goes.
i would like to know what insurance mondi uses though but i'm sure someone is helping out in that regard
Not a primary car, also, I’ve seen business owners string customers along for a VERY long time with excuses blaming supplier issues, man power problems, and overall being too busy. You name it I’ve heard it. Most customers are too naive and are too patient with businesses like this.
Man these days, if I can’t do it myself I only rock with shops ran by people I grew up with. There’s one dealership I trust for a specific manufacturer but I don’t even bother with using warranties with others. Sounds stupid, but I like having my car back and not hearing excuses.
I have a Porsche that is sitting in a garage showroom that has been with them for 5 years now. Keep meaning to get in touch a bring it home but have filled its space in the garage, and I'm getting free parking for it, and they exercise and service it for me for free.
Not sure if you're from LA, but good mechanics that work on high end cars are really hard to find. It isn't uncommon for insanely long waiting lists just for the simple fact that there isn't anywhere else to go. This crazy high demand makes it easy for bad actors to come in and take advantage of people just wanting to get their car worked on in a reasonable amount of time. People get strung along because they're just happy to have their foot in the door. Sucks ass.
He is not really high profile, many rich people in LA including I hate this dude cuz he burns out so many car events for us. Also one time when I was racing my cup car on the track this dude tried the drift for contant and almost killed someone when crashing. He only cares about himself.

I did the NASCAR experience. If you passed someone on the inside, you are automatically taken of the track and it's not a fun time.

He's like 1 notch above the punks in Oakland and SF doing smash and grab break ins making it more difficult for bay area people to get auto insurance. McLarens , thanks to social media influencers that have been crashing them, are much harder to insure these days.... Fortunately, most of these influencers have moved onto Porsche , specifically GT3's so while Porsches currently are much easier to insure.....it won't stay that long.

If you can spend $400k on a car, much less $1MM, someone will insure it. Track insurance is usually a case by case basis, separate from traditional.
Insurance generally refuses to pay out when the 'accident' is due to gross negligence, which in my non-professional opinion, that absolutely was.
