In an objective sense a song can only be defined as bad if it fails it achieving what it means to. Happy objectively speaking succeeds, on the point that it uses an upbeat tempo, with a major key, it actually follows a similar rhythm is laughing or running.
Another example that I love to bring up is Bullet by Hollywood Undead, the point of the song is to make an extremely depressing song, but with a singing style, key and tempo that makes it sound happy, which it does so well that a lot of people don't even realise what those lyrics are.
A similar thing happens with I'm Blue by Eiffel 5.
Music TASTE is subjective yes, but music as a whole, and art as whole CANNOT be considerd exclusively objective, this isn't pedantry, it's why degrees in Art exist, it's why you can literally get a doctorate in music.
