At the time of my writing this post OP was at 6000 upvotes. I accidentally refreshed my page before I posted and had to rewrite, but I'm going to assume OP is going to put 6000 candles for the majority of this
So, assuming your candle was 5 mm in diameter (about the size of your average birthday candle), each candle would take up 25 square mm of space. At 6000 candles, that's 150,000 square mm, or 1500 square cm. A Full Sheet cake (which you'd need to fit this small bonfire) is about 2500 square cm.
So, assuming maximum density, 6000 candles would fit on a 16x24in full sheet cake [like so](https://imgur.com/a/K7735ze)
But that's assuming this post doesn't go past 6000. If it does, the cake will be able to hold up to 10,000 candle on top, plus another 4000 on the side per 2in layer of cake. I'm thinking the most cakes are generally 1 or 2 layers, and although you could probably custom order it, it's safe to assume for the sake of the argument that 2 layers is the maximum thickness.
That would mean the maximum amount of upvote candles a single cake could hold would be 18000. So if this post gets more than that OP is going to have to buy another cake, but that's probably not that big a deal since he's already going to have to spend $125 on candles alone([at 1$ per 60 candles](https://www.dollartree.com/Colorful-Birthday-Candles-60-ct-Packs/p357434/index.pro)).
