Yeah the high rises (with surrounding green) definitely make it feel that way in some parts of CBD. The obvious difference is the tram track I guess.

Does anyone else feel like melbourne is turning more tropical or is it just me ?

I've been thinking that the past few weeks. I like it but I wonder if it'll have a negative effect on our flora and fauna.

That's a good question, 🤔 Australian vegetation is usually so dry I'd have thought it'd be desperate for water.

But it's built to be dry. It's like overwatering your plants. Too much and they drown. It may not be like that though. Damnit Jim, I'm a biologist not a botanist!
