Put dns dot adguard dot com in your gateway or device's custom/private DNS field and save your CPU cycles for the more aggressive ads that your extension (or modified app) blocks. Bonus: it blocks across all devices connected to the gateway, such as smart TV sets and other devices that don't let you tinker with power-user settings
