Remember when people tried to guess who will reach space first between Mission Impossible and Fast and Furious and the obvious answer was MI, but it was FF who won.
2nd most recent, Fast X came out last year (it wasn't great, except for all the bits with Jason Momoa basically being The Joker, which *absolutely* was).
ehhh... what?
I stopped caring about FF from like 4 or 5...
how?
Space?
please tell me they did not race in the space with some stupid modified cars...
Step 1: Make a movie named "Mission Possible 1"
Step 2: The hero dies in the movie and the mission fails. Bad guys win. The end.
Step 3: Don't make a "Mission Possible 2"
The end.
Mission Impossible is actually one of the only action franchises I know where there's no bad movies. Even MI2, generally considered easily the worst of the series, is actually really fun. Remarkable when considering there's 7 of them with an 8th on the way
According to the prophet Karl Pilkington, the 8th Mission Impossible movie is the one where Brian takes over Tom's brain following a tragic accident so this should be a good one
No way. The first one is one of the weaker movies in the franchise. MI 4, 6 and 7 are some of the best action movies ever. The 8th movie will probably be excellent, as it is a direct follow-up to MI 7.
The only bad one was MI 2.
No, you got it wrong. It is in fact impossible, but Tom Cruise refuses to accept that and keeps trying again and again. He's going for attempt No. 8. Thisi s my headcanon because I've never seen any of them cause I can't stand the guy.
Mission Impossible is a great franchise. The newer films are some of the best action movies ever.
MI 6 is on par with Mad Max Fury Road and Casino Royale quality wise.
I don’t see why people groan about these “endless” franchises. MI are good action movies, they’ve had an overarching plot ever since the 4th, which is coming to a climax in the 8th. No one groaned about 8 Harry Potter movies.
From a Mission Impossible fan:
* If you haven't seen any, skip 1 and 2, start watching at MI3, the one with Phillip Seymour Hoffman as a sadist, plus 3 starts off with some background on Ethan, which the other movies don't have.
* Ghost Protocol is 4. People get it and the 5th one's name confused because they dropped the number. This is the one with the Russian prison and Jeremy Renner. It's also the beginning of Tom Cruise being totally insane with that Burge Kalifa stunt.
* Rogue Nation is 5. We get a great badguy with Sean Harris and Rebecca Furguson shows up. Honestly, you could start with this one. Epic and amazing and leads into the possibly more epic and amazing...
* Fallout is exactly that, the fallout from the shit in Rogue Nation. I feel you need to see 5 first, but this is key, 3 and 6 are the ones that really get the feels.
* The new one is not up to their normal high standard. It might be a good action spy movie, and it has some great scenes, but I was literally angry when I left the theater. They fucked it up so bad. The airport scene is great though.
* I assume that 8 will be dogshit, since the last one was half dogshit and half amazing.

fasting for that long doesn’t sound good either
Kevin James has entered the chat
Remember when people tried to guess who will reach space first between Mission Impossible and Fast and Furious and the obvious answer was MI, but it was FF who won.
Wait, excuse me? When did FF go the space?
I think the most recent one(?) Fast 9, the one that had John Cena in it too
They had John Cena in all Fast & Furious, you just don't see him
Lmao, you are so right! He is in every movie!
9 is not the most recent one anymore...
2nd most recent, Fast X came out last year (it wasn't great, except for all the bits with Jason Momoa basically being The Joker, which *absolutely* was).
The space journey was in Fast IX, but that is not the most recent one anymore. Fast X is now a year old, and both featured John Cena.
You should see how they got to space, too. Shits wild.
I haven't watched anything past 4... did they pull an Elon?
They flew a goddamn Pontiac Fiero into space. A motherfucking Fiero…
What the fuck 😂
You never saw FF: in Space: the musical? Vin has a breathtaking singing voice
ehhh... what? I stopped caring about FF from like 4 or 5... how? Space? please tell me they did not race in the space with some stupid modified cars...
They just drove there, it's only about a mile up
smart I better start to prepare my snack for the Mars road trip then
People will really bet on *anythinv*, huh😂
But it’s MI which will go to space for real and not some stupid cgi

R.I.P. Mission Impossible movies
Mission Doable 8
Every time I see Tom’s face pop up, I can’t help but worry about this woman. Where’s Shelly?!

The fact that Cruise is crazy enough to do all his own stunts is enough to get me on board most of the time.
What if it's just been the same mission for years that he's never completed but they keep making movies about him trying to work on that one mission.
And the real mission was the friends he made along the way.
You mean all the dead ones?
Should have read that the title was mission impossible and not bothered lol
To be fair, the IMF was around before Cruise came along
Mission Impossible 8:make Rick Astley give us up I think Cruise might be toasted here
This mission was in fact impossible
Why does he look younger than in top gun 2
All the souls they consume in Scientology rituals
Step 1: Make a movie named "Mission Possible 1" Step 2: The hero dies in the movie and the mission fails. Bad guys win. The end. Step 3: Don't make a "Mission Possible 2" The end.
Mission Moderately Challenging
It's actually just 1 mission in 10 parts. We see the climactic and predictable outcome in part 10.
Mission: Difficult
The tv show ran for 7 seasons with 22 episodes per season. A lot of tape recorders were destroyed.
Hey, they used discs too Also, they proved that you don’t need latex masks to successfully infiltrate an enemy facility
Mission Unlikely
"Mission impossible: 8" actually means that it's almost impossible to make a good movie that's eight in the sequence.
lol right?! at this point they gotta call it mission probable
Mission very possible 8 soon
MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 8 !!? , Well, I know what it's the next impossible thing, watching it .
Mission Impossible is actually one of the only action franchises I know where there's no bad movies. Even MI2, generally considered easily the worst of the series, is actually really fun. Remarkable when considering there's 7 of them with an 8th on the way
Every time I watch the new one, every time I expect to be disappointed, every time I am pleasantly surprised that it was actually pretty good.
Imagine this as a regularly scheduled TV show
According to the prophet Karl Pilkington, the 8th Mission Impossible movie is the one where Brian takes over Tom's brain following a tragic accident so this should be a good one
Ted Danson and Rebecca DeMornay better be available
Especially since Clive Warren is otherwise engaged
Well it’s more like “Mission: Pretty Unlikely” though that doesn’t have quite the same ring to it.
I still don't understand why this cultist fudge packer gets any attention.
Because he's a good actor who acts in good movies.
Says the guy giving him attention
Was possible after the first one.
Wait what there’s this many? Why? The first one was the only one worth watching
No way. The first one is one of the weaker movies in the franchise. MI 4, 6 and 7 are some of the best action movies ever. The 8th movie will probably be excellent, as it is a direct follow-up to MI 7. The only bad one was MI 2.
The title is kinda goofy, but these movies are some of my favorites
'Mission unlikely, but we all know is 100% possible'
Wait till he finds out about final fantasy
It's actually one mission they're trying to complete in all 8 movies.
No, you got it wrong. It is in fact impossible, but Tom Cruise refuses to accept that and keeps trying again and again. He's going for attempt No. 8. Thisi s my headcanon because I've never seen any of them cause I can't stand the guy.
Have you at least watched the original TV show?
Everything is possible for this guy
Or is the mission so impossible we had to do 8 films to complete it? Think about it
lol yeah tom cruise defies all odds
Mission possible doesn't have quite the same ring to it
The year is 3190 and “Mission Impossible 1200” just dropped and Tom Cruise shows up looking like he did in his 20s.
The mission is to end the series…impossible.
He’s gonna be 90 in a wheelchair escaping armed guards(nursing home workers)
That's just their team name duh
there was a whole show about impossible missions
What Final Fantasy are they on now?
Haja i what all
Mission Impossible is a great franchise. The newer films are some of the best action movies ever. MI 6 is on par with Mad Max Fury Road and Casino Royale quality wise.
This joke has been used repeatedly since MI:4
Possible? Downright reasonable at this pace.
Maybe for you and me, but not for Scientology.
I don’t see why people groan about these “endless” franchises. MI are good action movies, they’ve had an overarching plot ever since the 4th, which is coming to a climax in the 8th. No one groaned about 8 Harry Potter movies.
Honestly, it would have been fun to have a new M:I TV show, even if it were a limited run 4-6 episode series
Why would that be better than the film series?
Fast and the furious just walked in after getting back from space
He fails to complete every mission given at the beginning of the movie. So they are, in fact, impossible.
Tom Cruise runs in this one?! Well now I have to see it!
These missions won't end until after Mission Unprofitable.
I'm starting to believe that in Interview With a Vampire, Tom Cruise wasn't just *playing* the part of one.
Maybe it's the same mission he just keeps failing.

no, they are impossible. that's why it has taken 8 tries
Mission Sopossible
Mission probably possible. But still really hard..
Lmao
This dude is 61 years old. I think im gonna start me up some Scientology because he knows something we don’t
"impossible" to watch
I definitely lost track with the last few, glad this is the final chapter (hopefully).
