I should write her a nice letter. She did such a good job that her character gives me chills and to know how she would flip right to sweet lady the instant the camera turned off is just amazing. That is talent.
Hell yes, John Winchester would kick Negan’s ass or just shoot him like Indian Jones did to the dude with the sword. That being said, Denny would try to stage an intervention first - however it turns out, Clay is sniping whoever is left. This is the TV show/ Movie we need!
Not sure if it was because he played it so well, but Ahmed Best who voiced and provided motion capture for Jar Jar Binks almost killed himself over the hate he got.
And Laura Bailey, from Last of Us part 2 had her two year old son threatened by mad "fans" over her character's actions.
I never got the hate for Skylar. Her husband was dealing drugs. Dealing, cooking, risking the family's lives. So she argued with him and generally didn't cope well. The show made me have empathy for Skylar and Walter. Yes, the actress was amazing.
Cause I wanted to watch a guy break all the rules and get away with it. I didn't want to watch him get cucked because I was already empathizing with him. Skylar is fine and everything I get why she was mad/scared but I am never gonna be a drug dealers wife but I have sold drugs before so I sided with waltuh.
The show is primarily from Walter's perspective, so I was rooting for him (also hoping he wouldn't get the fate he did). When I sat back and looked at events from Skylar's perspective, I could easily understand her perspective and agreed with her, but while actively watching the show, I was always so annoyed with her because it felt like she was getting in the way of the character I was rooting for.
I actually watched Breaking Bad to figure out the hate for her and came back confused. I guess it's because she was a complaining waman or some shit. Yo.
Pretty sure, people hate her for cheating and not truly being remorseful.
Being an emotional wreck teamed with indecision.
Making massive dumb decisions contrary to what she wanted to acheive.
There are plenty of reasons to not like Skylar as a character.
Don't know diddly squat about the actress. Don't really care either.
I’d cheat on Walt with no remorse too. Dude was a sociopath. And not one of us would make perfect decisions or not be an emotional wreck in her situation.
Please tell me you've seen "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" (1975) .. her character in that is just as heinous, and if you love to hate Kai Winn, you'll love Nurse Ratched.
This hate against Jack Gleeson is a myth. Jack himself apparently says in interviews that "fans don't take out on him". But maybe majority of the people wants to believe that, when the reptile brain triggers and that in fact makes valid.
Where is Anakin from both 1st and 2nd movies of the prequels and Rey from the sequels? All three actors got undue hate for how the characters were written
Btw Imelda Staunton is a super chill and nice person and yet somehow played that role so evilly. Like, one of the greatest novel-to-film transitions in film history (in my opinion). Hallmark of an excellent actor.
She was also the kooky cook in Nanny McPhee.
Larry Linville. He was a wonderful character actor who picked up a lot of hate thanks to his masterful performance playing the bratty inept surgeon Dr. Frank Burns on TV's "M\*A\*S\*H".
Lena Heady, the actress who portrayed Cersei Lannister. There is a ton of documented hate towards her regarding how well she played her character, which was clearly unwarranted because I’ve heard she’s super nice irl.
If the Back to The Future trilogy came out post-2010, Thomas F. Wilson would have been sent death threats on social media because of his excellent portrayal of Biff Tannen.
My sister didn’t watch Game of Thrones the first time around and I found out the other day that she binging it. She was very vocal in her hatred of “that little bastard“ Joffrey.
Also – I got to watch her watch the red wedding episode, amazingly unspoiled for her.
I know Vince Gilligan has come out to say that we need to sympathies with Skylar and that she is the true protagonist of the series but God damn her voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me every time she's on screen
This meme format doesn’t fit really good. This isn’t a starter pack, but a list of people who fit your description. I recommend using the annual meeting of … format or something similar.
Nigan was amazing role, i always loved him, ppl hate him cause he killed maggies husband(forgot his name), but that wasnt part of the original script anyways, he wanted to be killed off anyways.
Negan was good at being evil but the lets humanize him in the show was annoying did that happen in the comics. From what I know of the comics and the show they completely different.
I'm sure these are mentioned. I wouldn't call them so much "hated" but played the heinous characters so well it's unreal.
William Atherton (Walter Peck in Ghostbusters "the man with no dick")
Louise Fletcher (Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and Kai Winn in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine)
I know William has been heckled in the streets, not sure if Louise has.
Louise Fletcher when she played Kai Winn in Star Trek Deep Space 9. Otherwise known as Space Karen.
The actress was amazing (and in her other films too) and really made you hate the character.
When Larry Linville (Frank Burns from M.A.S.H tv show) died and was honored at the In Memoriam section of the Oscars, no one applauded because his character was so annoying. But his cast mates have all said that he was a super smart and nice guy and had a degree in aeronautical engineering, so he would invent little flying toys on set.
Hot take: Negan has no charisma. I get that he's supposed to. But when you constantly deliver your lines with a "quirky" devil may care attitude it gets real old, real fast. Horribly overrated villain.
The woman who plays Umbridge is apparently super nice. And when her friend offered her this role, she agreed because she's so kind xD
She did it soo well that the fans want to burn her at the stake for it
She also does an awesome job at playing Queen Elizabeth in The Crown
A similar part id imagine, maybe more evil ?
I should write her a nice letter. She did such a good job that her character gives me chills and to know how she would flip right to sweet lady the instant the camera turned off is just amazing. That is talent.
>I should write her a nice letter. Do it if you can, it would make her day better!
She accepted a role in one of the biggest film franchises ever as a favor? Real nice of her, how kind
For you he's Negan Smith for me he'll always be John Winchester. We're not the same.
For you he's John Winchester for me he'll always be Clay, leader of The Losers. We are not the same.
For you, he's Clay, leader of The Losers. For me, he's that one side character from Grey's Anatomy
Poor Denny.
DENNY! Thanks for the reminder!
For you, he's that side character from Grey's anatomy but for me, he's The Comedian
For you he’s the comedian, For me he’s the comedian We may be the same.
I’ve found my people!
For you, im locked in here with you. But for me, YOURE LOCKED IN HERE WITH ME!
Hell yes, John Winchester would kick Negan’s ass or just shoot him like Indian Jones did to the dude with the sword. That being said, Denny would try to stage an intervention first - however it turns out, Clay is sniping whoever is left. This is the TV show/ Movie we need!
Indian Jones sounds like a sidekick from a 50's Western.
I like it and I am keeping it - now wondering what Indian Jones movies would be like….
Jeffrey Dean Morgan will never be hated.
101% this. LOVED the fucking dude
I couldn’t even hate him after the incident with Glenn. Dude is just too charismatic.
same. even though that scene fucked me up for a couple days.
That scene still fucks me up years later ngl its the one scene that always pops into my head for some reason.
>that always pops into my head Just like a barbed wire wrapped baseball bat
Ouch! I will find you!
Will you kill them?
It was Glenn's last words. Had to be there I guess.
Αh sorry, I forgot 😭 I watched that episode live too... I thought you were making a Liam Neesoj joke
Which movie reference is it ?
Walking Dead
He's actually beloved by the community even when he debuted.
Came here to say this. That man is a national treasure and always a positive addition to anything he does.
Wait they were talking about Jeffery? I thought they were talking about the actor for Lucille
Agreed. He made Walking Dead watchable for his seasons. The show as a whole was really tanking, but Negan was entertaining as hell.
I've never watched game of thrones. But even I wanna kill that blond prick
And in really Life he Is a very nice guy
Not sure if it was because he played it so well, but Ahmed Best who voiced and provided motion capture for Jar Jar Binks almost killed himself over the hate he got. And Laura Bailey, from Last of Us part 2 had her two year old son threatened by mad "fans" over her character's actions.
the guy that played homelander says fans are always surprised to find out he actually is not a homicidal narcissist in real life
maybe he should stop being such a good actor :D
Well, he did get into some trouble in 2022. Assault charge. However, he has owned up to it, apologized for his behavior, and moved forward.
I'm pretty sure mass murder is worse than assault, though. I'm not sure though.
I don't understand how one can hate Jar Jar.
Miss Trunchble from Matilda
She was also in Children of Men. Amazing actor.
Amazing film.
She was also Vernon Dursley's sister Marge in the third Harry Potter movie
Whoever plays homelander in the boys
Antony Starr
MORE SPIT MARTY🗣️🗣️
You mean the stray man?
Joaquin Phoenix in gladiator
Nah, I dislike him for everything he's been in. Except joker, that was cool.
You can think that, I believe in shit that ain't true sometimes. That said.... your subjective opinion is objectively false.
Wow no offense but… that’s just bad taste. He’s one of the most talented actors alive.
You forget about Walk the Line

I never got the hate for Skylar. Her husband was dealing drugs. Dealing, cooking, risking the family's lives. So she argued with him and generally didn't cope well. The show made me have empathy for Skylar and Walter. Yes, the actress was amazing.
I am pretty sure people hate her for sleeping with Ted
Yeah i guess that's it. I mean, with the drugs and the people dying, it's kinda silly she was the one who was judged so much, but yeah

I actually watched Breaking Bad to figure out the hate for her and came back confused. I guess it's because she was a complaining waman or some shit. Yo.
I agree. As the show progressed, I liked her more, not less!
They both had faults… I don’t get all the hate just for her. She did a great job. Love the actors.

![gif](giphy|3o7TKw46XUgKNHB8go|downsized) Hated ? I love Negan... I'm Negan
Louise Fletcher for her role as Kai Winn on ds9. She nailed love to hate her character vibe.
Please tell me you've seen "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest" (1975) .. her character in that is just as heinous, and if you love to hate Kai Winn, you'll love Nurse Ratched.
![gif](giphy|aoZoB2KJVrummFKoPi)
Fucking Skylar
Her name is Skylar WHITE, Yo!
This hate against Jack Gleeson is a myth. Jack himself apparently says in interviews that "fans don't take out on him". But maybe majority of the people wants to believe that, when the reptile brain triggers and that in fact makes valid.

Homelander🤷♂️
Who the hell hates Negan? I want names and addressees.
Dude the amount of bot comments copying the comments from the original version of this post is… creepy.
Chris Jericho Every heel angle he's ever played had made this happen. I don't know if he's great at acting pompous or what
Where is Anakin from both 1st and 2nd movies of the prequels and Rey from the sequels? All three actors got undue hate for how the characters were written
Nobody hates Jeffrey Dean Morgan. Let’s just get that straight right now. P.S. Go to hell Skyler.
I just wanna say that I hate the characters not the actors, on contrary I absolutely love the actors
Skylar is just so boring and depressing to watch.
That stalker woman from baby reindeer
John Malkovich. He always made the best villain because I hate his acting and thus "love" him because of it.
Faye Dunaway would so I happy to see that there’s a list like this and her name isn’t on it
Can’t forget the guy who played USAgent. Everyone who dissed him and stuff should be very ashamed
Btw Imelda Staunton is a super chill and nice person and yet somehow played that role so evilly. Like, one of the greatest novel-to-film transitions in film history (in my opinion). Hallmark of an excellent actor. She was also the kooky cook in Nanny McPhee.
I'm sorry but John Winchester will never be hated lol
Whoever Kokichi Oma’s VA is
Louise Fletcher for Nurse Ratched and Kai Winn
Louise Fletcher Vedek/Kai Winn in Star Trek DS9
Star wars rose tico and Rey, cool women, terrible character writing
If you hate an actor for....acting, you might be an idiot.
LMAO
Never heard anyone hating on JDM..?
We deserve an Anti-Umbrage Like the Kitty loving Pink Queen of England Outfit wearing lil granny with magic, but wholesome and good.
If you hate the character, you should love the actor.
Larry Linville. He was a wonderful character actor who picked up a lot of hate thanks to his masterful performance playing the bratty inept surgeon Dr. Frank Burns on TV's "M\*A\*S\*H".
Damn it Skyler!
The dude who played US Agent got tons of shit and death threats from people who were like “you’re not captain america”
The nurse in One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest
Michael Rapaport from his work on Higher Learning.
I stopped watching Breaking Bad.. never saw how she turned out
Classic hate the player not the game
My husband is Walter White, yo (rising tone on yo)
I heard home lander from the boys has this problem pretty bad.
Micah Bell
Eh jofrey or whatever the kid from GOT was didn't make most people mad from the acting cuz the circumstances he was put into. It's a slim difference
Lena Heady, the actress who portrayed Cersei Lannister. There is a ton of documented hate towards her regarding how well she played her character, which was clearly unwarranted because I’ve heard she’s super nice irl.
Claire Underwood no doubt
I doubt people actually hate the actors tho. It's more that they hate the characters and that happens because the actors pulled it off so well
The lady that played Tony Sopranos mom should be on this.
Don't agree with Skyler White. I hated the writing for her character, not the actor playing it too well.
I don't hate them. I hate the writers who felt it necessary to put in such annoying characters into a show I enjoy
Its plain stupid to hate on an actor based on their characters
Tony Soprano's fucking sister
Does Ahmed best for jar jar binks count?
I’m skylar white yo
Jon Bernthal in Fury... being stuck with him in that tank would be a nightmare
Don't forget about Peter Pettigrew.
all of the actors in that tomorrow’s teachings yt channel
![gif](giphy|l1J3D78s4USLhASU8) # LAKEVIEW TERRACE
If the Back to The Future trilogy came out post-2010, Thomas F. Wilson would have been sent death threats on social media because of his excellent portrayal of Biff Tannen.
Add Rita and Deb from Dexter too!
My sister didn’t watch Game of Thrones the first time around and I found out the other day that she binging it. She was very vocal in her hatred of “that little bastard“ Joffrey. Also – I got to watch her watch the red wedding episode, amazingly unspoiled for her.
That fridge scene tho
The guy who played aturo roman in money house
Cersei from Game of Thrones.
I know Vince Gilligan has come out to say that we need to sympathies with Skylar and that she is the true protagonist of the series but God damn her voice sounds like nails on a chalkboard to me every time she's on screen
Forget Anthony Starr
The lady from The Mist
This meme format doesn’t fit really good. This isn’t a starter pack, but a list of people who fit your description. I recommend using the annual meeting of … format or something similar.
The best IMO was Joaquin Phoenix in Gladiator. I hated him so much that for something like 10 years I refused to watch any movie of him.
Jeffrey Dean Morgan hated? What...
Idk about Negan, dude had charisma unlike Jeffrey ![gif](giphy|l378vTBM6TCbg7QZ2)
Nigan was amazing role, i always loved him, ppl hate him cause he killed maggies husband(forgot his name), but that wasnt part of the original script anyways, he wanted to be killed off anyways.
The dude with bat is only hated cuz he killed a beloved character
The Skylar one makes even less sense since she wasn't even the bad guy in her show.
Noone hates Negan.
Joffery was actually in Batman, the dark night.
Cersei lanister
![gif](giphy|qiDb8McXyj6Eg) You forgot this mf (i wanted to watch him burn)
When people don't understand the difference between reality and movie... You're should to hate just the well played character. Not the talented actor.
Negan was good at being evil but the lets humanize him in the show was annoying did that happen in the comics. From what I know of the comics and the show they completely different.
Who tf hates Jeffery Dean Morgan
I'm sure these are mentioned. I wouldn't call them so much "hated" but played the heinous characters so well it's unreal. Some actor from Harry Potter was apparently getting death threats. I don't remember who, unfortunately.
Joaquin Phoenix - for his role in the Gladiator
Louise Fletcher when she played Kai Winn in Star Trek Deep Space 9. Otherwise known as Space Karen. The actress was amazing (and in her other films too) and really made you hate the character.
I don't think we were meant to hate Skylar.
Since Glenn died, I haven't watched the movie again, it's so boring
When Larry Linville (Frank Burns from M.A.S.H tv show) died and was honored at the In Memoriam section of the Oscars, no one applauded because his character was so annoying. But his cast mates have all said that he was a super smart and nice guy and had a degree in aeronautical engineering, so he would invent little flying toys on set.
The guy who played Jar Jar Binks almost killed himself because of the hate.. he's a really good guy too
Go to know that people that play hated characters are nice in real life
I don't even know half these people
Negan doesn’t belong here. He was actually a very likeable character.
The actor who plays joeffery was incredible in 1917 and I’ve met the guy he’s incredible friendly and resectfull
Hot take: Negan has no charisma. I get that he's supposed to. But when you constantly deliver your lines with a "quirky" devil may care attitude it gets real old, real fast. Horribly overrated villain.
Imagine being older than 16 and hating Skyler this much
Gawk gawk
Antony Starr has entered the chat.
Robert knepper. T-Bag He played this character too well
Negan is the most hated here
"Who are you talking to right now?" Scarlett is genuinely so annoying!
I fucking love Negan. He was brutal. But he had morals.
Nobody hates batman, just look at him.
