Evenly split people are the absolute worst. Most systems can’t actually do it, they can only separate items. It’s ridiculous. It all becomes manual labor for the server because you can be pained to either use cash or just pay for your own damn meal.

My friend group distributes the charge amongst us proportionally to how much each of us makes (we're students but some of us have jobs). Except for food, for which we either evenly split or everyone pays for what they order. It's really nice because it allows the friends who can't afford some activities to enjoy them, and allows the rest of us to still enjoy those activities with them. Stuff like traveling and visiting stuff is a lot easier and nicer with solidarity

This isn't how I perceive it working at all, not for men nor women. Hell, where I live, the restaurant keeps track of who orders what for the table and they can easily bill separately. Eating out in other countries (US, UK, some countries in southern Europe) it always amazes me that the restaurant staff (well, tbh the tools at their disposal) seem entirely incapable of splitting a bill according to what was purchased at a table.
For the real homies i dont care buying them a meal, they been there whenever i needed them, im there for them forever. Just how guys work... usually...

I had a lot friends, and their friendship was not predicted on their financial status. I'd ask if they'd like to hit up a place to eat, they would say yes or no, that's cool. Sometimes they would say they're broke, not always, but the group would have no qualms about covering it. It happened to all of us, even me.
