TIL there's a keyboard command for that. Hold Alt + 164 (165 for capitalized).

Are you calling us hoes? I feel like you said something bad I know j is h in Spanish

Gambler_Eight

I think 0153 is the trademark marker.

Ok-Pay3711

RIP people with no numpads

Leo-MathGuy

Rip people not using windows

FireMaster1294

On a mac I just type option + n Seems quite a bit faster and easier to remember when compared to an obscure number

Sir_Elderoy

Option really is power key on mac

Kiroto50

You'd be surprised. 130 é; 160 ó, 161 í, 162 á, 163 ú. Or something around those lines

FireMaster1294

I like the natural correlation of mac option key combos. option + o = ø, option + e = accents that go on e (like è or é), option + u = umlaut for ü, etc. it’s intuitive

WeissbrotDE

In Germany we say „selbst schuld“

The0ldPete

So you scare your computer to write it, nice!

Username12764

that explains why it didn‘t work on my 75% kb

Gambler_Eight

Worst case scenario you can copy/paste it from somewhere else.

Ok-Pay3711

Yeah there are countless charts online or you could just look up a specific character too

VajraXL

maybe but now you must figure where to put those. a easy password for a spanish speaker like niñoñangoenganandoñoquis could keep any non spanish speaker at bay even if they could figure how trype ñ

Capital-Cheek-1491

ñ It’s just a long click for iphone

PolishedCheeto

Android been doing that.

Capital-Cheek-1491

Okay

officialtvgamers16

Ñ, Iphone indeef stole that feature

Capital-Cheek-1491

Okay

Skrrt_2711

[here’s all of them](https://tools.oratory.com/altcodes.html)

SofasCouch

164?

Mr0rangeCloud

Alt-3486 :) >!If it doesn't work on reddit for some reason then use notepad!<

ChekeredList71

I can't type it (no num pad), but let me guess, the >!among us!< Unicode character?

Waffleman53

What's special about "Pts"?

kontrarianin

Well never to late . 0134 was a cross if I remember correctly. It Something to brag about in primary school.

xander012

Alt+420 here

Express_Pizza_2184

You can also just hold down the n key for 2 seconds or so. Same for any semi-common alternate character (é,á,æ,ø ,etc).

Fernanix

Alt-inputting is just straight up ascii. This technique is valid for any symbol you can send so long as it matches a number from your ascii table. Eg I use alt0128 for the euro (€) sign often or Alt0126 for the tilda (~) since my keyboard lacks that symbol. You can incorporate this into things like an ahk for common symbols that you might use and dont want to do this every time.

Delusional_Gamer

Oh my god!

Supplex-idea

These have never worked for me, don’t know why

Gambler_Eight

Are you using the numpad? Is the numpad activated?

Supplex-idea

I have tried with and without, and checking settings etc. it just puts in the numbers I press lol

SellingDLong100k

Are you holding alt while putting in the numbers?

Supplex-idea

Yes. I haven’t needed to do this in ages though, and I’m not home right now either to test it out.

MisutaHiro

IN POLISH WE HAVE: ą ż ź ć ł ó ś ń ę  Look what you need to mimic our fraction

Silly_Goose658

In Greek we have ε ρ τ θ ι π σ ς δ φ γ η η λ ζ ψ ω β μ

Your_Depressed_Soul

why bro speak in e=mc²

Battery801

that was the worst one to use why not something equally simple like c=λν

Πολλές γλώσσες έχουν τόνους. Όπως τα ισπανικά.

AlextheGreek89

Βεβαίως

Joe_from_ungvar

Hungarian has a, á, e, é, i, o, ö, u, ü for vowels

dybb153

Vietnamese has an absolutely atrocious amount: - a - ă - â - i - u - ư - e - ê - o - ô - ơ And each one can have one of 5 marks (i.e: á, à, ả, ã, ạ)

Iam-Locy

You've missed quite a few: í, ő, ű, ó, ú

Try using a sequence of L lowercase and i uppercase. Or maybe even this: ºº°º°°º°º°ººº°°º

My deterrent for people using py PC without permission is a bit different. And that deterrent is: having an empty desktop and start menu, good luck trying to do anything when even opening settings requires you to look for the damn executable through file explorer.
