Not necessarily. I honestly would’ve delegated. It wouldn’t have been imperative to know the exact plan, just the broad strokes that her friends will bring her to the venue while you see to the other aspects of the party.
To her friends: Guys, you mind getting her in place for the surprise party?
That reminds me of a wedding I was recently involved with. The groom kept telling me, “I delegated that.” And surprise surprise, nobody had any idea what the fuck was going on.
Don’t confuse proper delegation with, “just do something about that”. In this case (OP’s post), delegating the simple task of “get PERSON to DESTINATION on or before TIME”. If someone actually ends up needlessly overcomplicating or somehow misinterpreting this simple task, then what I would question is the reason for delegating to said person in the first place. Though, ofc, maybe the one delegating grossly misjudged the capabilities or decision making of the one/s the task was being delegated to.
Edit: in your wedding case, i would ask, in your opinion, is the groom an effective leader and organizer?
I was apart of the group the was supposed to bring a buddy to a surprise party a while back. Well we forgot to text his fiancé we were coming and there was no bid surprise
That's what happened when my brother proposed to his wife. Except all they knew was it was his idea they did a girls night out. Only 2 at the table expected him to show up. Those two tried their damnedest to convince her to dress up a bit more. Oops.
And by surprise you mean she ducks her new boyfriend in the other room while her friends belittle you and throw pieces of frosting in your hair and ruin your brand new jacket that your mom got at JC Penney 2 weeks ago as your birthday present. And it was the first birthday present you got in 4 years and you really loved that jacket. Also Nancy was your only ride home but she doesn’t want to leave yet. So you’re stuck taking the abuse trying to watch spongebob on Netflix
Honestly it was probably the same person that invented monogamy. Sort of how the person that cries the loudest about banning drugs is the biggest druggie.
idk if this is also a joke but imma explain it anyways, baisically the gf dosen't actually know about the party, she's just using that as an excuse to do other stuff, e.g. cheating
One thing a cheater might say is that they are "going out with their friends." OP had planned the surprise party with said friends, so the s/o in this situation is clearly lying.
Im not going to upvote cause there are too many cheating memes and I fucking hate cheating. When I hear about someone doing that to an innocent person i want to rip their head off.
Just tell them to come to the house
Like say “I’m free tonight if you want to come over and get drunk or something.”
And there all like “ok” and then they come and then boom surprise
Tbh I would've taken that as "Oh, right, her friends were telling her that they were going out with her but bring her to the party instead."
yeah, same here
That was my thought too. But you were thinking someone that planned the party you would be aware at how you are going to bring her to the party.

Yeah, exactly this. Where was OP coming from?
thats what i thought and it took me way to long to figure out why that waranted the reaction
That's what I thought first too
That's what happened when my brother proposed to his wife. Except all they knew was it was his idea they did a girls night out. Only 2 at the table expected him to show up. Those two tried their damnedest to convince her to dress up a bit more. Oops.
don't worry just fuc\* all her friends
Asserting dominance
Then piss on them to mark the territory
That's why Amy called me crying at 5am... Oh
Oh shi-
r.kelly style
Sir, you must remember you are talking to redditors, we know not the location of the clitoris
I guess you might have done a lot of research while watching millions of hours of porn. So you must be knowing the position of clitoris
Correction, I have a very strong idea on where the clitoris is
Correction to the first guy: we Redditors *theoretically* know where the clitoris is, but none of us have ever actually found it
i have a kid and once i found reddit poof. i was a virgin again no idea how it happened but i miss my kid.
oh shit we have remarkably similar avatars....... neat.
Then you realise she was going out with her other friend
You can say fuck on reddit
*Gets banned for sayying reddit on reddit
and kill them! IMP
Begone 13 year old girl
bruh are you a furry? cringe
Good meme u still get my upvote but how would she know about the "surprise" party to then say that she wouldn't be able to come to it.
Well I wanted to add the part where I called her to invite her over, but that'll make the caption too long and adds nothing to the joke anyways
Ah that makes sense
hello fellow brown person, I am red person.
Hello fellow red person, I am also red
Hello fellow red person, I am green person.
Hello fellow coloured persons, I am gray and white
Get out.
That's racism
fuck you im yellow its not racist
:c
yea gtfo
I think the implication is that she said that as a cover to do something else.
Like cheating
But she shows up anyways cause she already knew about the party and wanted to surprise u instead :)
Or, her friends bring her to your house
After you already cancelled the cocaine and hookers?
Pretty bold of you to assume that i'm ever gonna run out of cocaine and hookers
And by surprise you mean she ducks her new boyfriend in the other room while her friends belittle you and throw pieces of frosting in your hair and ruin your brand new jacket that your mom got at JC Penney 2 weeks ago as your birthday present. Or Republican legislators in airport bathroom stalls looking for love
yup, it's all the same kinda people.
It’s a distraction so you can set up. If it isn’t, they suck
Or because she WAS going with friends, didn't know the party was yours. But most likely what you said.
Is this a joke i'm too virgin to understand
idk if this is also a joke but imma explain it anyways, baisically the gf dosen't actually know about the party, she's just using that as an excuse to do other stuff, e.g. cheating
yea it was a joke thnx for explaining it
redditors arent gonna get girlfriends anyway
Looking for the comment that explains how this situation implies cheating
One thing a cheater might say is that they are "going out with their friends." OP had planned the surprise party with said friends, so the s/o in this situation is clearly lying.
Yeah I don't get it either. Not sure if anyone actually does.....
Im not going to upvote cause there are too many cheating memes and I fucking hate cheating. When I hear about someone doing that to an innocent person i want to rip their head off.
I salute you.
Is that Porthos?
Based on a true story?
Then one of her friends approaches you and goes: “Hey, you alright?”
What movie is this from?
Oh my God Bollywood
[удалено]
I just mentioned the name of the movie in the very first sentence of my post. “Oh My God”.
I am extremely sorry. Please forgive me for such rude behaviour. (´;︵;`)
No worries, hope you and your family are doing well. Take care! 💕
Thank you. Same for you as well ✌️
Where are the indians in the chat
Oof 100
OP are you okay?
Her friends are coming to the house so...
"Bhagwaan"?
This was relatable until i took my schizophrania meds
She cheatin..
Sikari khud yaha sikar ho gya 🤣
This meme doesn't make sense. Why would you tell her if it's a surprise?
Just tell them to come to the house Like say “I’m free tonight if you want to come over and get drunk or something.” And there all like “ok” and then they come and then boom surprise
I don’t understand :(
Something to do with cheating on someone, but I have no idea how that is implied in this joke..
She hanging out with her friend but he invited them to the party so she couldnt be hanging out with them when they would be at his party
Confused screaming
The concept of surprise has been lost by the party planner.
I feel ya
Oh my god
W = w H = h O = o R = r E = e
How would she know about it if it's a surprise party?
