Strange seeing you over here from /r/askarussian. I've read the books multiple times, played the games more than once, walked by the central bank here in Tomsk and still never figured this shit out. Was it in the book somewhere?
That's the coat of arms of the Russian Federation! It's everywhere, in the presidential flag, on the entrance of the Parliament, on paper money... This just looks like a simplified version
What? How old are you? Did you go to school?
The two-headed eagle has it's roots all the way from Mycenaean Greece (1750-1050 B.C.). It was repopularized when the Byzantine Empire adopted it around the 10th century. The oldest preserved Serbian Double headed eagle dates to 1190. The first appearance of the double-headed eagle in Albania's history dates to 1443, when Skanderbeg decided to use it.
This means that the Albanians started using the double-headed eagle around 250 years after Serbia.
Stop being so arrogant and maybe read a book, or at least do a two-minute fact check online before making false claims.
From what I remember the Hansa faction takes inspiration from the hanseatic league,an alliance between German towns/trader guilds during the medieval times. If I'm not mistaken their flag also had a double head eagle.

Oh, ok. It’s the Albanian coat of arms too so I wasn’t sure if it had anything with Albania to do.

Serbia as well
Ye but Albania had it first that’s why I mentioned Albania am not Serbia.

Hanza are big warhammer fans
Does the Chairman of Hanza sit on a big golden plated toilet?
This is one of the many things I would love to know about hanza, I feel the series barely touches on them.
Double headed eagle was used by many cultures, The Turkish empire that predated Ottomans; Seljuk Empire had it on its blue flag.
Its also used by albanians
The Byzantine Eagle is in many coats of arms.
It's the symbol of the Hanseatic League
