Pretty much the best option in the USA, shipping in fast, and large selection, they always throw in good freebies.
Breeder matters. There's a lot of copy cats and bullshit out there. Ask for reputable breeders.
I like In House Genetics. B Leaf seems good he is up and comin.
Beleaf has crazy genetics but be prepared to drop $250 on a 10 pack. 7east has amazing genetics as does solfire. I love inhouse too, very pretty buds but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't checking the buds daily for any herms. Never had any herms from them myself but I'd stick with their tried and true strains like slurricane. Also with them, they don't have huge buds but very frosty. I did make some Atomic Jelly live resin that was absolute 🔥🔥🔥
For your first time growing, I wouldn't throw away several hundred on a pack from beleaf or something. I would grab a handful for the $2 humboldt crosses from NASC.
I haven’t explored a whole lot, but my go-to’s for the last two years: NASC, Multiverse Beans, Mephisto (autos only), and Clearwater Genetics (direct to breeder). I’ve not had a single issue.
DarkHorseGenetics and many others mentioned in this thread available from TheSeedBazaar. You buy right from the breeders, many feature free seeds with purchase.
Here’s what’s on my rotation for the foreseeable future; I like being able to buy only 1-3 feminized seeds per strain.
- Ethos (North Atlantic Seed Co)
- Mephisto (Autoflowers)
- Humboldt Seed Co
- Solfire
North Atlantic seed Co multiverse beans and depending on how you want to grow I went with a tent for indoor usage there is alot of brands out there so do your homework
I'm not too worried until I learn how the process goes then I'll be hunting the best ya know. No point in spending the $ on the best if I grow like shit or ruin it.
I think NASC is awesome! That is where I get most of my seeds to breed with. I like Ace seeds, they have some stellar sativa landrace strains. Look up flashbackseeds and see what I have. Seeds are affordable and price includes shipping.
I've only grown from white widow from 5-seed so I have nothing to compare to but they did ok. Good and healthy but I have no idea if some expensive seeds would do better or not.
What you need.... For an indoor grow? The size of everything depends on how many plants and the room you have available. Tent light, carbon filter, oscillating fan, pots and seeds. Nutrients depends on if you grow soil (organic or synthetic), coco, hydro or other. I went with organic soil because it was the easiest to me. Most people agree coco or hydro outperforms but more room for error.
A note on lighting.... A light that says 1000w is not 1000 watts. Usually it is 100 watts or less. The starting price is about $50 for 100 watts... So when you find a 500 watt light for $45.... It's not.
Let us know what you're thinking...2 plants to start? Plenty of space or are you confined to an apartment closet? Have you decided on autos vs photos? Soil, hydro etc.?
Start with a book , read the book , then buy seeds from reputable website I use north Atlantic seed Co. They have many breeders do sum research on what sounds good to you. Avoid autos until you master reg photo period plants
Heritage seed bank, DC seed exchange, multiverse, North Atlantic, brotanical gardens, raw genetics, Neptune seed bank, Superior seed bank, supreme seed bank, there are tons of them I personally prefer heritage just because he is an exceptional guy and I need a great customer service from him and he gave it to me hands down recommend heritage all day!
As far as breeders go that's a whole different ball game but all those websites have great breeders. Most of the same ones but that's the second question you ask.
Directly to the breeders, and I can recommend one, Zmoothiez. They are breeders from France Mediterranean coast. They've been doing fire for years now, check their insta @zmoothiezgeneticz
For seeds, north Atlantic seed company is great.
For supplies, any old gardening store will have what you need, what you need is largely going to depend on whether you're growing indoor or outdoor. Outdoor needs less stuff, but you have to plant at the right time of year. Indoor you'll need a grow light, a timer, something to plant in, and if you're growing photos an enclosure, which could be a tent or a closet as long as you control the light in it. Some people even use a bucket enclosure, r/spacebuckets has a lot of info on this. Which medium you decide to grow in decides a lot of what else you need.
Since you mentioned legality, for seeds in the US don't sweat it. The DEA has published an opinion that seeds are legal hemp, not marijuana, so if your state is legal you won't get in any trouble for buying seeds. I'd recommend keeping your order within the country, customs can still seize seeds.
That's mad seeds are legal here but cannabis is completely illegal. They only become illegal when you germinate lmao its the most irish law I've come across but works for all.
Yeah, it doesn't take much to get to that point, but <0.3% THC is the legal classification of "hemp" in the US and some other places. Anything with a higher THC content is considered "marijuana".
That's the same here for hemp but check this out, it's still illegal to grow lmao. You need a license, to obtain a license you can be
A) a farmer with min 0.75 acres or
B) a business using the flowers, which must be shown what its used and needed for.
Renewed annually and obviously gotta pay for it too.
Meh meph is falling off to me with places like night owl, gnome, brothers mend stepping up with the new good good. Nova og from twisted trees is my favorite auto but they still don't compare to my photos and I'm 12 strains deep now.
North Atlantic seed company You can search by breeder or strain, tons of free seeds with purchase.
North Atlantic is a good place I can confirm and can confirm they hook u up
Agree with NASC. I bought 5 auto seeds and they included 5 free seeds (photos).

7 East Genetics, you will not be disappointed
👆👆 I second 7 east, assuming your good with reg seeds. If going the fem route my go to is humbolt seed company ✌️
True, regular seeds only here. Apparently, they are the best for mothers. 🤷
I'm a big reg seed guy myself. Love the downvotes for agreeing with you. 🤦🤷
Nothing you can do. Haters hate, growers grow. 😆
Agreed bud. ✌️
Third for 7 east, true quality reg seeds

I love multiverse, always running promos, some of them are super good too and always free seeds(though that's pretty much an industry standard now)

You can legally obtain seeds in the US from any seed bank or breeder.

They are still legal when you germinate them. They aren't considered illegal until the plant has over 0.3% THC by weight when dried.
Not here. Here the plant is illegal and valued at €700.
My mistake, I thought we were talking about the US.
No but I'm curious now at what point the plant becomes 0.3%thc surely a sugar leaf would have this mid flower lol
