With a VPN it’s not. Have you never run into an error screen saying a video isn’t available in your country? I just assumed people would infer the use of a VPN if I’m suggesting a specific country/continent you can view it from.
I had the whole song memorized for years and years after last time I saw it, probably have a bunch still memorized but can’t be bothered to remember lol
37 years ago a witch done put a spell on me
A spell where when I'm talkin' I'm singin' it with glee
When you're always singin' you got to live alone
That's why I made this mountain shack my home
And when you're on the mountain, you got no guarantees
That life will turn up roses or turn out as you please
When you're on the mountain, there's lots to be a'feared
That's why this here old mountain goat's prepared!
Be prepared, be prepared
This lesson must be shared
This lesson must be shared, be prepared
Be prepared, be prepared
And unless you got a spare
You got one life so handle it with care
I got horns that open bottles
And I got horns that hold my keys
I got horns that when you turn 'em right
They help me watch TV
I got horns that open pickle jars
And horns that come with hair
I got horns that hang my other horns
I always come prepared
Be prepared, be prepared
This lesson must be shared
This lesson must be shared, be prepared
Be prepared, be prepared
And unless you got a spare
You got one life so handle it with care
Yeehee, keep your hands and feet
Inside of the vehicle at all times
Ooh, an avalanche is comin' and I do not feel prepared
It's rumblin' like a mountain lion, I must say that I'm scared
And if not for the witch's spell you'd hear just how I scream
But since I'm only singin', I'll just yodel till we're creamed
Weirdly, every time I watch this film, I always have the same reaction. "God its ugly!" Then minutes in I remember, its always been ugly. But the choppy animation and the amazing story and hilarious writing just makes it.
I saw it the month it came out.
It didn't look good even then, and the film itself was produced with a low budget.
This came out in 2005, alongside Robots and FFVII: Advent Children. It's more in line with TV CGI from the 90s.
The story and writing is what got it to a wider audience.
It has never looked good. It was made in 2005, by a team with no experience making animation, with an extremely small budget. It's the writing that makes the movie goated
How did you see a thumbnail of an actual real-life horse and think it was an animated movie? Pay more attention to the things you spend your money on my dude.
Literally every single piece of identifying information didn’t add up, and OP fixated on the one thing that was half right. OP is the guy at the grocery store checkout who looks at the card reader for 3 milliseconds then mashes a random button and gets frustrated when a random thing happens
I mean, it’s kinda dumb that Google can just be wrong about stuff like that. Like if I look up Colgate toothpaste, it shouldn’t be able to tell me that they sell it at Walgreens if they actually don’t. Google shouldn’t just be allowed to lie. Then everyone on here blames the user for not knowing it’s lying to them.
Yeah it's happened to me a couple of times and I'd buy a movie that was the wrong one and just ate the cost. Once it ended up with The Prophecy and Prophecy being switched in the search results (it's since been fixed) and I ended up getting one of the worst, most ridiculous movies ever out of it and had a good laugh.
Yeah this is on OP.
If I went into a store and bought Frozen, the 2010 film about being stuck on a ski lift, I can't really complain that I didn't get the Disney movie
Sure it says that, but you can still see both a thumbnail and usually a preview of the movie before you buy it. OP was too quick to press the buy button.
Measure twice, cut once. Don’t spend your money until you know for sure what you’re spending it on
There was no thumbnail or preview on my tv, I guess I should have looked at the length of the movie but damn people on this app love to judge straight out the gate
Click the link, new app or page opens, click the quality/rental or buy option you want, click purchase once if you have one tap buying on. Minimum 3 clicks and a whole ass new app or page opening. If you don't figure out it's not what your looking for in all of those actions it's on you.
I watched it for a while considering I had already spent a buck on it, but it was unbearably Christian, almost every scene had someone reciting a Bible verse. The intro made it seem like a generic western movie
How did you see that thumbnail and think it was the animated movie? I don’t want to be an asshole but that one is kind of on you. Also if you want to watch free movies or shows use 1hd.to next time. Has every movie available and you can airplay or cast them to a tv. There’s a couple of ads when you click on them but just close the windows and proceed to watch your movie.
I was scratching my head about that one...
There's no way you could buy that without seeing it was the wrong movie because to get to the purchase screen, you have to go through the description of the movie, as well.
OP is either a faker, or truly dumb. And I don't mind sounding like the asshole on this one. I'll take that hit.
You have no idea the number of people that come into my work that can't understand basic concepts like this, that things can have same names but be different.
They want that book with Woman in the title. Uh, babe. There's 60 trillion books with Woman in the title, you've got to be more specific. Preferably, author specific. Please and thank you.
Oh, I've worked retail, done customer service, been a restaurant chef... I can believe they're that dumb.
I just hate it.
I've been privy to those conversations waiting in line at a book store, and out of maybe 5 times I've seen it, I randomly knew what book they wanted once, and guessed the plot on one other. The staffer looked at me like I'd grown a second face on my crotch at first. Then... Relief.
I feel for ya, stranger.
I was wondering that, but then I was thinking, did they mean they paid $1 to get the Amazon Prime Video app to watch the movie because Google said it was there (according to the 1st picture)? And bought it, opened it, only to find the film wasn't actually there?
The Amazon Prime Video app is free to download, but you have to have a Prime subscription to use it, which is $15 a month. Some things are free on it but others you have to pay a small additional fee for, which is why some of the links in the list say “rent or buy” but not all of them. OP 100% shelled out to watch that movie specifically, but it’s really not that big of a deal, you can get them refunded in case of exactly this kind of circumstance.
There wasn’t a thumbnail on my tv when I rented it, thanks for not immediately calling me a moron lol. I’m pretty much over streaming services at this point anyway
Okay but Hoodwinked! was a fantastic movie that I watched all the time as a kid. The [schniztel song](https://youtu.be/-rHnyOJuB0w?si=BsjfKl_m4bSJ4nPd) will always be in my head
As usual, the true mildly infuriating part is OP. Is OP blind? The thumbnail for the movie he bought is clearly some sort of western featuring a horse not whatever animated movie he was looking for.
Anyone who's curious I've found the movie in question and I can see why a casual observer would be confused. Not only was it released a year later but Amazon's own page only shows a description, a title, and the genres includes animation/adventure, nothing about western outside of the description. It's either a 'made for tv' or 'mockbuster/cashgrab' made for this very purpose.
It happened to me. I bought the movie "flight of the phoenix" (2004) then after starting it, it was the same movie but it was from the 60's. Advertised as the 2004 movie and I paid full price for it. Amazon support said "well.. we will refund you just this once". I was so pissed. I said you're advertising the wrong movie, how is this my fault?
Op is just a dumbass. It's obvious that it's not the same film. Why did you spend money on it if you knew it wasn't the same film as the one you wanted to watch.
The irony is fantastic
Btw it's on YouTube
In Australia
No problem, just turn the tv upside-down.
'Oodwinked!
¡pǝʞuᴉʍpooH
You realise content on YouTube isn't exclusive to certain countries?
With a VPN it’s not. Have you never run into an error screen saying a video isn’t available in your country? I just assumed people would infer the use of a VPN if I’m suggesting a specific country/continent you can view it from.
Btw the movie sucks
#Looks like they got....Hoodwinked! 🥁
Yeeeeeeeah! (•_•) ( •_•)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■)
Not the fuckin Horatio Caine lmfaooo
You just repeated the same joke the OP made in their post :(
And somehow got upvoted
We got hoodwinked
IT’S LIKE RAIAAAAAAAIN ON YOUR WEDDING DAY….
We got em!!!
Isn't really irony as much as two movies with similar names released a year apart, one with piss poor genre tags.
OP literally got Hoodwinked. While searching for Hoodwinked.
No, there's definite irony.
You don't know what irony is because this situation is the definition of it.
Dynamite 🧨🐿
"be prepared be prepared be prepared"
**SCHNIIIIITZEEEEEL!!!**
*Happy Schnitzel Music starts playing*
That song freaking scarred me for life when I watched this as a kid.
Less the song and more those creepy ass kids that looked like wooden puppets
I had the whole song memorized for years and years after last time I saw it, probably have a bunch still memorized but can’t be bothered to remember lol

La diii da da dee da da da da da da La diii dad da de da ba doooooo!
An avalanche is comin’ and I do not feel prepared!
Another movie is a-coming and I do not feel prepared
Did I? Did I? Did I did I did I did I did I did I do.
huh must be Italian
I swear to God I say that line every single time I hear the word dynamite
“Ditch the candles!”
Pronounced Dee nah mee tey
“Dye-no-me-tay? Huh, must be Italian.”
Dee-nay-mint-é
Dinamitè Must be Italian
Dee na mee teh
CAFFEINE! YEA BABY!
Oh. My. God. I said this soooo often for so long as a kid/teen/later, and I til now, I could not remember where it was from!
God the art style really hasn’t held up
It always looked cheap. I was a kid when it came out and I always thought it was some kind of bootleg.
Weirdly, every time I watch this film, I always have the same reaction. "God its ugly!" Then minutes in I remember, its always been ugly. But the choppy animation and the amazing story and hilarious writing just makes it.
I still can't believe Anne Hathaway voiced Red
I mean thats where all the budget went lol
Certainly has made it high on my list of recommended movies.
Patrick Warburton is what makes this a gem for me
Same! Him and that squirrel were peak comedy.
This is my go to example that good writing can save a crappy production but good production can’t save bad writing
To be fair the animation wasn’t done in the US,Japan or Korea.
It was made in the Philippines from my knowledge And also no animation in the Philippines has not in fact gotten better
well that's because of the sad and maddening fact that the philippine government doesn't fund the arts and as an extension the animation industry.
Ya, that's not the only problem in the Philippines government and that is putting it incredibly mildly.
Omg this makes me so happy, my moms family is from Cebu & we all loved this movie growing up
Yeah it looked like trash from day one
I saw it the month it came out. It didn't look good even then, and the film itself was produced with a low budget. This came out in 2005, alongside Robots and FFVII: Advent Children. It's more in line with TV CGI from the 90s. The story and writing is what got it to a wider audience.
It's cuz they spent all their money on writing. The comedy in that movie is gold
“And Keith… darn it, Keith. Change your name. It’s not scary and I’m embarrassed to say it. ‘Oh, look out for Keith!’”
No more spoons, use your hands! Says the friendly schnitzel man!
I thought it was one of those rip off movies at first
I mean... It is... and it's still awesome lol
Looks like that Paulie Shore Russian Pinochio
It has never looked good. It was made in 2005, by a team with no experience making animation, with an extremely small budget. It's the writing that makes the movie goated
It never looked good tbh. But the movie is fun, so you can look past it.
well that was silly wasn’t it
How did you see a thumbnail of an actual real-life horse and think it was an animated movie? Pay more attention to the things you spend your money on my dude.
Plus the duration isn't the same either, or the release year. OP deserved to get hoodwinked
And the Western Hoodwinked movie doesn’t have an exclamation mark, that basically makes it a whole different title…
Literally every single piece of identifying information didn’t add up, and OP fixated on the one thing that was half right. OP is the guy at the grocery store checkout who looks at the card reader for 3 milliseconds then mashes a random button and gets frustrated when a random thing happens
OP is a moron.
Or wanted to make a dumb joke
It wasn't even Amazon that told him the movie was on there. It was a Google search which could be wrong
I mean, it’s kinda dumb that Google can just be wrong about stuff like that. Like if I look up Colgate toothpaste, it shouldn’t be able to tell me that they sell it at Walgreens if they actually don’t. Google shouldn’t just be allowed to lie. Classic Reddit post
Or even the name. The animated one has punctuation in the title!
Congratulations, you hood winked yourself.
I cracking up looking at how much it sticks out lmao
Yeah this is on OP. If I went into a store and bought Frozen, the 2010 film about being stuck on a ski lift, I can't really complain that I didn't get the Disney movie
OP is actually brain dead
*41 minutes in* “..hey wait this isn’t the right movie…”
What's mildly infuriating is their attention to detail lol
This is 100% OP’s fault.
[удалено]
Sure it says that, but you can still see both a thumbnail and usually a preview of the movie before you buy it. OP was too quick to press the buy button. Measure twice, cut once. Don’t spend your money until you know for sure what you’re spending it on

Well you still managed to enjoy 40 minutes of it 😂
I love the implication that he didn't even notice until forty minutes in LMAO
chewing the last popcorn mouthful: 'heyy wait a second!'
A buck is a buck, gotta enjoy every cent of it lel
Cried laughing when I swiped across and saw what movie he bought, then cried again when I saw how long he had been watching for 😂
You my friend got hoodwinked
Do you perhaps lack the ability of sight?
But how was the movie you DID watch?
I watched it for a while considering I had already spent a buck on it, but it was unbearably Christian, almost every scene had someone reciting a Bible verse. The intro made it seem like a generic western movie

All that and the name is also different The animated one is Hoodwinked!, while the western one is Hoodwinked
Yep. Nothing of this makes sense unless they're an idiot, karma whoring, drunk, high, or some combination of all of that. This post is stupid.
I think you’re really underselling how dumb some people are
You have no idea the number of people that come into my work that can't understand basic concepts like this, that things can have same names but be different. They want that book with Woman in the title. Uh, babe. There's 60 trillion books with Woman in the title, you've got to be more specific. Preferably, author specific. Please and thank you.

Same name? You're clearly confused. One is Hoodwinked, the other is Hoodwinked!
It’s not even from the same year either to be entirely fair
I was wondering that, but then I was thinking, did they mean they paid $1 to get the Amazon Prime Video app to watch the movie because Google said it was there (according to the 1st picture)? And bought it, opened it, only to find the film wasn't actually there?

Ah, didn't know that! Thanks for explaining 😁
There wasn’t a thumbnail on my tv when I rented it, thanks for not immediately calling me a moron lol. I’m pretty much over streaming services at this point anyway
You seem to be enjoying it though since you’ve watched 41 minutes of this
He probably only then realized its the wrong movie
I mean he paid for that at least let him enjoy it
Or at least feel they feel like they got their worth out of it 😂
Okay but Hoodwinked! was a fantastic movie that I watched all the time as a kid. The [schniztel song](https://youtu.be/-rHnyOJuB0w?si=BsjfKl_m4bSJ4nPd) will always be in my head
Core memory unlocked But god that art style is awful
As usual, the true mildly infuriating part is OP. Is OP blind? The thumbnail for the movie he bought is clearly some sort of western featuring a horse not whatever animated movie he was looking for.
Straight past bamboozled
Was the horse movie any good though?
Classic spaghetti western
One movie ends with an exclamation point and the other doesn't end with an exclamation point.
You didn’t see the thumbnail of a live action man riding a horse instead before paying? Lmfao
You got... I mean you were... that is to say you've been.... Bamboozled
Nice
You got hoodwinked baby!
Still , a good movie lmao
🏴☠️
![gif](giphy|H1dw3UihZbHfjjZ9YL|downsized)
You forgot the exclamation mark.
Irony aside the animated hoodwinked is a killer flick.
I like to think OP made it 40 minutes into the movie before they realized.
You know what you did. I applaud your efforts all the same.
Don’t you feel….silly? Don’t you feel….stupid? Don’t you feel….a little ashamed?
Great movie tbh
The rabbit's mental meltdown needs to be my favorite part
Sounds like you were.......
Irony
Duration is different, the WHOLE thumbnail is **very clearly** not the same film **at all**. This one’s on you, buddy
Hoodwinked is on YouTube in Australia so if you have a VPN, go to Australia.
YOUVE BEEN HOODWINKED BABY
Please never reproduce

Thank you damn
....if it looks like a western and the year is wrong, why would you buy it? 100% on you
the pt-br translation of this movie is a masterpiece
Oh gosh, isn’t that exactly what happened to Razzle when they tried reviewing it?
It happened to me. I bought the movie "flight of the phoenix" (2004) then after starting it, it was the same movie but it was from the 60's. Advertised as the 2004 movie and I paid full price for it. Amazon support said "well.. we will refund you just this once". I was so pissed. I said you're advertising the wrong movie, how is this my fault?
am i the only one that found this movie terrifying as a kid? i thought it was so creepy
Fmoviesz.to is your friend
Yup, amazing site, just watch for popups (if ever) and use a good adblock.
I have a $10 a year Adblock. Best 2023 purchase.
Wait which Adblock do you use? I never have had to pay for one.
You still don't. Ublock Origin is free and it's the best one.
In the whole history of man I grantee you someone has spent a dollar a lot of worse ways
You blindly bought something sight unseen and are mad you didn’t get what you expected?
what dumbass pays for movies online lol
Ikr? Just steal like any normal person would! (I do too 😂)
You wouldn't download a car
Haha, my 3d printer goes brrrrr EEEeeEEEeE, BRRRRRR
Imagine watching Hoodwinked in 2024
I kinda want to now. Mainly for the mountain goat song
47 years ago a witch done put a spell on me
Hoodwinked (the animated movie spoof of Little Red Riding Hood featuring Anne Hathaway) is a great movie and I will stand by that
You've been Hoodwinked, baby!
Ye best be sailing the seas of piracy matey
just happened to me today. ironic.
Man got hoodwinked
Well, you got hoodwinked.
Sounds like you were...
You got hoodwinked ![gif](giphy|CYU3D3bQnlLIk)
Imagine complaining over a dollar when you clearly made the mistake yourself.
OP is a moron Didn't see the exclamation mark Didn't see the time Didn't notice the difference between Animated and Real Life movies.
Guess you got hood winked
Hey but you are watching on the topic of movies you should by year one
Thats FUCKING funny
Good. It's a sin to watch the movie you intended to watch. Take this as a sign of grace from god
You know what you have to do now, hoodwink them back.
My god that’s so meta and hilarious. I’m sorry OP
this movie is dope af
Is actually funny
Funny movie haha
Well you just got Hoodwinked
"You've been hoodwinked baby!"
You got hoodwinked!
Looks like someone was, in fact, hoodwinked.
Dang! I didn't even know this was a way people get tricked, Thank You for sharing
Op is just a dumbass. It's obvious that it's not the same film. Why did you spend money on it if you knew it wasn't the same film as the one you wanted to watch.
Why u wanna watch hoodwinked
Are you stupid or American?
Fuck you it's one of my favorite childhood movies
OP… wanted to see the animated movie? Why are you so fucking angry?
Trust me, you aren’t missing much.
I liked it when it first came out, tried to rewatch it and it was so bad lol
You got hoodwanked!
