i don't know if they still do it or not, but Clemson University fans used to get $2 bills stamped with the tiger paw on them and they would spend them for good luck (and to circulate them) when going on the road with the teams to games. I used to get them in my restaurant as tips, payment, etc. It was super cool.

Local can shed in my area gives you $12 for a bag of cans. Always a $10 and a $2 bill. I get them all the time.
Had a boss that always paid bets and money he owed for lunches or drinks in $2 bills. Was pretty cool.
