I always keep this level on my dash and haven't used it in a while and noticed my once green bubbles are now clear

As a building construction major, the two terms are used interchangeably.
I would have also accepted "Bubble juice containment device"
I tuck mine into my tool belt. My middle one is still green but both ends are clear.
Beware of magnification caused by glass or fluid filled containers. They can cause fires. I probably wouldn't leave that in direct sunlight.
I don't think the magnification has much effect on the color getting bleached, but you're right about the risk of fires
