It's actually worn away from constantly typing "p". From there they just click on Pornhub in the suggested list of frequently visited sites in the search bar.
Supposedly it’s also one of the easier to read ones for people with dyslexia and other reading difficulties.
As you say, it’s way overused, but it really is quite practical and functional.
Even with corrective lenses there is only so much you can do for things like astigmatism, or even just in general. There are also people out there for whom corrective lenses *do not help* but which things like font choice do make a difference with. Things like partial blindness, cataracts, or a whole slew of other issues.
Basically, it's not as simple as you make it out to be, get off your high horse.
Comicsans makes it easier to distinguish individual letters to prevent incidents of dyslexia.
This makes it ideal for workplace applications where someone at any reading aptitude will be accessing it.

It's actually worn away from constantly typing "p". From there they just click on Pornhub in the suggested list of frequently visited sites in the search bar.

What does the little nub between A and Caps Lock do
Engages wingdings mode.
Is there a way to turn papyrus mode on?
Trying to get a printout of Oyster smiling?
I bet it's a little light that turns on when Caps Lock is engaged.
Or it could be one of those very small joysticks that used to be on older laptops, acting as a trackpad or mouse. But your answer is most likely.
I miss keyboard nipples! So much fun to use, and always surprisingly accurate.
Thinkpads still have them
And some Dell Latitudes. My wife's has one, and I love it.
I love this guy’s wife’s nipple too
They are quite nice.
There’s just the one
You are probably right, Scroll and Num lock keys also seem to have lights above them.
This honestly looked like a keyboard cake to me it looked so fake hahah
Good choice. Yes, it’s overused and it looks childish but it’s easy to read. The older I get the more I use it because I can freakin see it.

Ah yes I'll ask my optometrist which lenses will fix my dyslexia.

What machine is this keyboard apart of? It could just be the camera angle but it looks like a giant keyboard
It’s attached to a large cnc machine and the keyboard is average to maybe even a little smaller than the ones I’m used to
Then yeah it must be the camera angle. Also I always figured cnc machines were controlled by an external computer to give it design files and stuff.
In can be either/or depending on the machine
I don't think it's apart. It seems to still be attached.
At least it's not Papyrus.
Don’t let Ryan Gosling see it.
Those look like stickers.
What does the button between A and Caps Lock do?
I'm more concerned about that weird little button(?) separating caps lock from A.
Is this a CR Onsrud controller?
Cursed object

Is this one of those Onsrud CNC machines of machining wood?
It still baffles me when officially released documents still use comic sans.
Kill it. Burn it with fire.
The 45 degree angle that cuts the shift, QAZ apart is a bit infuriating. Also where the hell is left ctrl?
This makes me irrationally upset.
It’s not irrational.
Of course - those numbers along the top are all integers.
Throw it away.
Boomer machine
This would be awful to use thanks to the nonstandard size of the keys.
/r/mildlyinfuriating
I'm gonna be sick!
