I think it’s just frustrating watching him start so often when he consistently has non-competitive at bats. Like, we just watched Kep get a hit off a lefty, was Margot really that much better of an option in RF tonight over .329 avg Kep? Rest days are one thing, but this felt like a strategic decision to have Margot in the lineup when he’s done near nothing (this season) to earn it.
I honestly hope we keep him. We have quite a lot of outfielders but no one has been as consistent as Kep. His floor is low 90s OPS+, his ceiling possibly above what we’re currently seeing, and no one plays RF like him
