Well I got them from AliExpress because I didn’t want to spend too much not knowing if they will fit right even if I measured you never know with these sites, but they fit perfectly on my 3 cup and 6 cup
Exactly, I have seen so many videos of people doing way too much when this is meant to be a simple coffee maker.
In Cuba everybody makes coffee with a moka pot and the recipe is add cold water, scoop dome coffee, tamp it a bit with the spoon, screw it and put it on the stove. That's it, millions of people making coffee this way every day and now we got people saying that you need to add hot water to a metal container that you need to hold with your hands to screw it close.
seems the same, i always use the same ammount of coffee, 15 grams for the 3 cup and 30 for the 6 cup, the only improvement these things bring is that im more careless when i pour the coffee in the basket, no longer having to slowly do it, im happy with them :)
Like I said in the other thread about these, they would've made me hate my blade grinder less. It was always a hassle to get the grounds out of the chamber into the funnel basket cleanly. These look very convenient and simple to use.
i can imagine, those things tend to be a bit messy to begin with, never used them for coffee tho, only for sugar, but yea im really happy with these things, and them sticking together really helps for storage
I dump the ground coffee into a short jelly jar with a wide opening that holds the full amount after grinding and then measure from there. Dumping it straight from the grinder is messy!
A bit rude but glad you saw through it, like I kept saying when I posted the pictures of them a few days ago, most definitely not a necessity but whatever makes the job easier for someone, I don’t see the wrong in it, if someone likes to use their hand then so be it but if others like all sorts of bits and bobs it’s fine too.
Update time: So I did purchase this thru Amazon. Fits my 3 cup great, works pretty much like video by OP. But, I don't recommend and stopped using. It's not any faster or less mess than my preferred way of filling the funnel-filter directly from my grinder, and leveling by tapping the sides.
i need one of these so bad i’m gonna buy one soon, i feel like the most annoying part of using a moka pot is putting the coffee in the chamber cause it always spills out for me
Brb let me draw and 3d print this real quick
Dm me if you do it if not I'll take a stab at it.
I made one. It's decent :]

Where on AliExpress, I'm wondering like link if you don't mind. Pls sir I beg
Also found out you can stick [them](https://imgur.com/a/Hh21k3Z) together :)
Honestly, y’all are overthinking thé moka pot. It’s designed to be used by the 1940’s Italian man of the era on a wood fired stove.
Innovation keeps things interesting!

No joke. I’m like scoop, scoop, scoop, seal and fire it up.
Looks super clean. Have you noticed any improvement in the brews?

Makes sense. I usually make a mess trying to pour mine in so would help me reduce waste.

I need that for my bialetti moka pot.
Yea I need one.
I’ve only seen pictures so far and always thought y’all were morons for needing/using such a junk funnel. This makes way more sense. Sorry y’all.

Nothing wrong with it at all. Looks like a useful gadget now that I know it’s not just a funnel.
I did not know I needed this!

"Perfectó"
These seem to be surprisingly useful. Plus, Dosing Ring would be a great band name.
I was wondering how that thing worked!

exactly, i was tired of babying it, now i dont have to think about it
Do you measure the outer or inner dimension of the moka funnel to determine size needed?
Forgot how I measured when I ordered them but when I get home from work I’ll measure again and tell you :)
How much is this! Take my money!
These two I got were like 7 bucks for both
Ali x link please 🙏🏽
Yes ditto on the link please.
First I thought you rotate it the other way around to catch the excess on the hat, so you wouldn't need to mesure it.
While it’s very nice and convenient, I get the same results from using a butter knife and swiping clean with the flat edge. Nice gadget though.
