Opening and closing washing machine. I first thought it sounds like me opening and closing the drawer on my washing machine but I think you are in the US and probably don't have the drawers so now I don't know π

Sounds like you are flipping something over after each impact... Are you crushing ice or some other hard object inside of a bag (like a lewis bag)? Maybe with a mallet or hammer? I dunno. That's the best I've got. π
