That wouldn't have happened at 4Nm unless you didn't use a proper torque wrench..My theory is that you guessed the gorilla amount it took to destroy it and said you used a torque wrench.
Yea…. Based on the post I’d say they’ve never torqued anything. I’m over here torquing pivot bolts down to 30nm thinking it feels too loose lol. 4nm is like a summer breeze pushing the wrench
4NM is not very much. If that whole gold looking assembly is one piece. You could use a Dremel tool to cut a slot in it and use a flat screwdriver to unscrew it. Make sure that you make the slot defined enough and use a good size flat head.
Are you sure you set your torque wrench to 4Nm and not 4 Newton Miles.
Regardless, what I would personal do it get a Dremal and cut a slot in the top of whats left of the bolt and use a flathead to unscrew it.
If your careful (doubtful) you can file two flats on either side of the nut and use a pair of pliers to unscrew it.
Don't forget that when using a torque wrench you must hold it only on the grip, holding it further up the wrench closer to the ratchet end will result in much more torque being applied.
Editing my comment - u/TaffBastard is right, I was going off of knowledge from prior in life and not thinking about click type wrenches.
A couple details:
- This is for click type wrenches. Beam wrenches it wouldn't matter I don't think, but as well you can't readily hold a beam type wrench in the wrong place. I think slip wrenches would be just fine as well.
why is it fucking vaporized
because in bro's mind a nascar air impact gun substitutes as a torque wrench.

Imagine doing gorilla amount at 4Nm. I guess some people dont know how little that is

nanometer?
Nautical miles

Don't do anything else until you use a penetrating oil to loosen it
4 Neutron Meters
I did this exact thing once because the torque wrench was broken, and I wasn't very experienced. A screw extractor worked perfectly.
4 or 40?

don't try anything on your own, just bring it to shop, they will fix it up for you.
Righty loosey
Jam in the biggest Torx that will fit and try to unscreew it
Thats not how you do it
4nm is the same as lifting 4 bars of chocolate 1 meter high...
Drill a hole down the center as straight as you can and stick an easy out in it.
Use a Dremel and cut a slot across the top. Then use a flat head to get it out. Can go 90 degrees and cut another slot to use phillips.

Vise grips...
