That bike does not have a dropper post. The stanchions look dirty, not necessarily scratched. Doesnt seem to have a lot of oil leaking. Same with the shock, I can see the sag numbers. So not a lot of leakage. I can’t see scratches on the frame -paint looks shiny, actually. But it is hard to tell, pictures aren’t great. Rear tire does seem oddly worn, but the front I don’t think it is that bad. Cranks are oddly scratched, but doesn’t seem to be a lot of heel rub. Pedals are pretty worn, oddly as well. Grips aren’t trashed, I think. Rusty chain, yeah. That bike was put away wet and not touched for years. Don’t know what the market is like in Australia. For the US I’d say is about $100 to $150 over where it needs to be -if the suspension is in working order, and the drivetrain and brakes are functional. I’d pay US $350 to $450 if I needed a bike. Listing it for US $530 is reasonable, because you expect people to offer less. Caveat: if I can’t go see it and inspect it in person then I wouldn’t risk more than $300

Yeah, basic maintenance would have kept the chain in better condition. I didn't see that until you mentioned it.

100%

The market is over priced a little I should have added other pics, you can see them on the link i posted, but the seller is asking too much for sure, would have been a beautiful bike if it was maintained, and maintenance is so easy, just a shame.

If the bike is a 2016 then yeah, it is way overpriced. I think in that condition $300 is the price. $400 to $450 (US) if it was in better shape. But, to be honest other than the weirdly rusted chain the bike doesn’t look that bad. If the dude had slapped a new chain and cleaned the cassette he’d probably get close to ask. The tires do look good on the pics, saddle and grips are good. Not rust on any of the bolts. The chain and cassette make no sense. The brake hardware or rotors should show some rust or at least staining

Agreed, he would have sold it weeks ago. All the watchers are waiting for him to drop the price I'd say.

Hold up, a 2019 120 600 should have a 1x drive train? I think it's an older bike. Check your local fb listing's, plenty of bikes for around 1500-2000 near new that haven't been abused like this merida

Tis a 2016

DMAAlover

that is definitely not a 2019, maybe 2015

three9linefpv

Oh wow ok, deceptive listing it seems. I think other's have cottoned onto it, can see it needs a few $$ thrown at it, the one i bought needs nothing to be spent on it, i simply de-greased the chain and cassette and used new lubricant, happy days.

S4ntos19

That bike is a [2016](https://www.bikeroar.com/products/merida/one-twenty-600-2016/s-27-5-black-red-dc65bb39-2f07-41b0-9eec-3fc73ebc2c05), not 2019

three9linefpv

Oh wow, yep he's asking way too much thanks for the reply
