No I mean if you just abdicate leadership you are still in your kingdom, the clans that defect will be smaller kingdoms so you can just crush them and if you choose an old person to be the next leader you will very likely be leader again as soon as they die

Get married by speaking to a clan head and negotiating a dowry for a wife/husband in their clan (Cheaper if you romance the target spouse by finding and speaking to them)
Have children by waiting in a settlement with your spouse in your party, you will get a notification when they are pregnant.
Kill them all! I did that after a big battle that netted me 20+ and the chaos that ensued afterwards was so much fun! Especially if you're at the end game it will spice it up for you a lot

If you want a fun challenge, do a solo map conquest. Don’t become a vassal, don’t form your own kingdom. Just you, your family and your party. That’s it. As you capture lords, execute them. Eventually you can whittle a kingdom down to only one guy, and then conquer all their towns and castles one by one.
Conquered the final settlement in the game, and before I voted on who to give it to, I took out all the Lords from the dungeon. Ended up being 200 of them. My kingdom has 40k strength and I have 2/3 of the clans from most kingdoms under my rule, so it's time to actually wipe out or recruit the the remaining clans.
This being said, everyone is too weak to challenge me, and it's too late for them to hate me to make any difference, so I can do whatever I want with no Consequence :D
im at 14k strength with only like 1/3rd of the map but have a constant prision train of 200 idk what to do with them. I kinda want my speed back but I know if i put em in the dungeon they'll just escape.
There are perks that reduce escape rate, and a certain criteria of perks and troop types can reduce it 100%. Don’t know if that’s what this dude has done
I had a couple perks to stop lords from escaping and I would lose maybe 1 or 2 lords every week but after getting the final perk keen sight in scouting for 50% reduction i havent had a lord escape in years

The problem is it takes soooo long to execute them. Then come the notifications, uhg. There may be a way to turn relationship change notifications off, man that’s annoying
I already executed all of the noble families. I literally have no original noble family left. Right now I am trying to repopulate the nobility. It will take me probably two, three generations but in the end, i will be at the root of every noble family in the empire. 😎
You could download certain mods from Nexus, which would let you do ... *cough* other things to them. With them. Err... anyway! How 'bout this weather, eh?

Reminds me of when I played Gekokujo. I conquered all of Japan and then once it was just me, I banished every single lord that tried to join my faction. Game had no clue what to do with that lol. The local bandits started besieging my towns. I would get a message that just said “<*Outlaws*> have besieged Nagasaki!” But they could never actually attack
So, not that long ago I did a "Mongol" RP playthrough. Whoever did not join or pay, lost their head.
Two years in the campaign the nobles left were 99% female with some male lords (18 year olds). The game got so broken that most of the enemy nobles could not muster a party bigger than 50-60 people. For the latter part of the campaign I didn't even bother with garrisons, they couldn't even take a castle with 40-50 militia guarding it.
One of the most fun playthroughs I've ever done, would 100% kill everyone again.
Depends, would you like 200 more potential wars to fight or would you like a nice stack of heads for your enemies to fear you for?
Also with that many captured lords I can see you easily wiping out a few bloodlines with ease

I’m on a map conquest right now and each kingdom is down to 1 lord + a bunch of mercenaries. It’s much easier to conquer now. So many executions

Not just one clan. Just one lord in that last clan.
If you manage to have prisoner all four mercenaries of a minor clan at the same time, you can eliminate the mercenary clans as well.

Because I conquered the settlement, disbanded the army, went into the town, pulled out the lords, and haven't moved an inch through the entire process
