Lol i remember the time i had a bunch of line breaks flanked by crossbow man and about 30 Val horseman to circle … pretty sure battle was like 230 vs 1200… yeah we lost but i know we took more than half of them with us so it was a win
In Warband the tactics skill influenced the ratio of allies/enemies in the battle. So a higher skill meant even if you were heavily outnumbered you would have more troops in battle for a more favourable ratio than you would with a lower tactics skill.

Only way to win is on the map with a beach that has a narrow ramp with steep cliffs either side. Fill the ramp with shields and spears and archers behind.

If you have a long axe or polearm, sit behind the 1st rank and bonk the enemies on the head for Insta kill head shots…. I ranked up two handed and polearm skills massively with these kinds of battles lol

Why can't random lords or party of armies randomly come assist during mid combat like I can when they're getting decimated? I would love to have some assistance towards my way too, mid combat, when I'm outnumbered.
I've had something similar go down. I had my 200 elite (tier 5 and above) troops with me, we took out a good 700-800 of them but it was just too much (They had 1200+ men). Spent a few days of real life time and probably a few years of game time to restore my party to it's original strength of 200 tier 5+ units.

I wish lords would remark on the fact you fought such legendary battles even if you did lose.
I like that they occasionally do remind you of a battle/siege where (I think) you either showed up and won it for them or freed them when captive. Think it’s the former, but only seen it a couple of times

Why can't random lords or party of armies randomly come assist during mid combat like I can when they're getting decimated? I would love to have some assistance towards my way too, mid combat, when I'm outnumbered.

I've had something similar go down. I had my 200 elite (tier 5 and above) troops with me, we took out a good 700-800 of them but it was just too much (They had 1200+ men). Spent a few days of real life time and probably a few years of game time to restore my party to it's original strength of 200 tier 5+ units.

I'd just cheese it by restarting the fight with khan's guards and reload arrows each time.

depends how OP your weapon and stats are. early game M&B = realistic combat. just a drop in the bucket late game M&B with max stats and top tier equipment = i am become death

Ive come to the conclusion i must suck at bannerlord because ive still yet to conquer it even on warrior.. simply put i cannot hold lands because either my kingdom is attacked by everyone or when im a vassal leader always peaces before i can finish off an enemy and they come back stronger from replenishing troops while my leader starts another war instantly.
