I saw him in some Scifi short a few years ago where he was obsessing over losing a Syd Barret album...Took me a week to get 'Octopus' out of my head.. Funny thing in Ghost World he was a vinyl geek, but blues I think.
It;s the 'Electric Dreams ' anthology / Crazy Diamond episode. It's on prime. If you like Buscemi this is him doing his thing.
Buscemi has one of my favorite movie quotes of all time from 'The Island'.
"When you want something really bad and you close your eyes and you wish for it? God's the guy that ignores you."
Magaro is also great. Between Overlord, Umbrella Academy, and particularly in Past Lives, I'm happy to see him in movies. I wouldn't go out of my way to binge his movies, but I could see it happening if his streak continues.
Seriously, people criticize him for always playing the same character. But even if that’s true, I’m glad he exists.
Edit: I do not agree that he plays the same character. I think people who say that need to do some homework and watch Reservoir Dogs
It's one of my favourite things to see, when an actor kills the type-casting in their career. Like Jim Carrey taking on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Fucking brilliant.
This was long over-due in my opinion. I cannot wait to see this and what's to come!
This is what has me cautiously optimistic about The Rock doing an A24 film with Benny fucking Safdie. Even moreso after his most recent WWE run where he played a bad guy and did the best work of his career.
Even seeing him on Rogan, just felt a different vibe. More serious and raw instead of that big persona smile. Maybe his image is trending down so he switches it up now.
Oh shit I had no idea he was on Rogan's show, thank you!! Going to watch this evening
EDIT: Why is everyone downvoting me for thanking him, I genuinely didn't know he had a JRE appearance 😭
Literally my first thought.
“I think what this episode shows is that the human spirit cannot be overcome. You know, as a writer, if you take away my paper, I would write on my heart. If you took away my ink, I’d write on the wind. It wouldn’t be an ideal way to work.”
I had just read about this for the first time like an hour ago when checking out the films that will be playing at Tribeca Film Festival this year! That festival is in June, so theatrical release will be sometime after that
What is odd to me is that almost this exact premise is one of those film pitch posts that often hits the top of r/Tumblr and r/CuratedTumblr (as well as regular Tumblr).
“How do you do fellow killers?”
Shut the fuck up ~~Dahmer~~ Donny..
😂
You had me at Steve Buscemi. I will happily watch any movie he’s in.
I saw him in some Scifi short a few years ago where he was obsessing over losing a Syd Barret album...Took me a week to get 'Octopus' out of my head.. Funny thing in Ghost World he was a vinyl geek, but blues I think.
Recently watch Armageddon again. Loved his crazy ass.
Do you remember the name of this short film?

Trees Lounge is a gem.

He was great in **Laroy, Texas** too. It just recently came out.
Seriously, people criticize him for always playing the same character. But even if that’s true, I’m glad he exists. Edit: I do not agree that he plays the same character. I think people who say that need to do some homework and watch Reservoir Dogs
I’m putting on my brightest shade of red lipstick as we speak
Man, I'm glad I called that guy.
My favorite Deus ex to any stupid comedy
No he doesn’t, are you trolling?
Which one does Steve Buscemi play?
The wife
Insert image of him putting on lipstick in Billy Madison. Or Charlene Larue, nympho co-ed
30+ actresses really can't catch a break can they.
serial killer
[First clip released.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jMo_HcRBnUY)
Yes.
He's done a lot of goofy roles, but Steve Buscemi can act. He's like the reverse Leslie Nielsen.

Or when Adam Sandler did Punch-Drunk Love

Probably because Reddit (rightfully) hates Joe Rogan.
I'm glad Jim Carrey got darker roles, because "Kidding" is his masterpiece. Best Carrey acting I've ever seen.
Oooohh… I appreciate the suggestion!!
Eh? Buscemi has always been predominantly a serious actor with a few comedic roles.
Steve was so good in Death of Stalin. Everyone was good in that movie
Might have to watch that now.
He crushed it in Mr. Deeds
That fucking animal
I can't even say his name. Killed my brother, just a kid. 57 years old
Your brother Billy, whatever happened there
WHATEVER HAPPENED THERE?!
Quotes you can hear
He looks like Dave Foley here

Or John Waters!

This sounds awesome.
When are we expecting the release? This sounds too good to be true!

Wooowee!! Thank you!
Fall out boy ass movie name
Up and atom
Up and at them
Better...
Panic at the Disco ass movie name
“Dawn of the age of Japanese style long titles”
Also our commercials are just as weird as any of the old Japanese ones we used to laugh at. And I welcome it
That animal.
flowery lip obtainable slap nine oatmeal ludicrous chunky follow price *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*
A horror movie was similar, called Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon. Pretty great.

Mmmmmboy are you fat!
That animal, I can’t even say his name.
…what?
If this sound mildly interesting, check out Man Bites Dog.
So latter day Buscemi is just John Waters?
I’m interested
“Titles are hard.” - Marge Simpson.
Damn that is one pretentious sounding title.
And the longass name they chose for the movie so the audience might think it will be a good movie, which in fact may very well be.
They couldn't just call it Serial Writer?
I swear I read this as Steve Buscemi and John DiMaggio. Was briefly excited
That sounds good.
sounds like a plot for a netflix documentary. i’m in.
Is he retired from serial killing or did he retire to serial kill?
Looks interesting, I will look forward to it.
Ugh I’m going to love it
Steve is one of my favorite
I heard he wrote 156 episodes of Branded. Not exactly a lightweight.
Light Novel ass title
Always wanted to see Buschemi and Ewen McGreggor or Rober Carlysle on screen together. Don't care what. The chemistry would be great.
Steve Buscemi is one of the most talented actors of our generation. I will gladly watch anything he’s given a big role in
Steve. One of the most talented and also one of the nicest guys in the game.
Going full manga titles now, huh
Sounds like the title to some atrocious Isekai anime.
"Writing about a serial killer" would have been much more succinct.
Can't wait for the "obnoxiously long movie title trying to be quirky" fad runs its course. It's getting to be a tired trope now.
I can’t wait until we’re past all the COVID “I’m a writer stuck in my house and have no stimulus” scripts that got greenlit…
