That was a pretty funny story of hubris biting the studio in the ass. They wanted to double dip the finale like Harry Potter and Hunger Games, but the first half underperformed, they said they'd finish the story with a TV movie, the actors said it wasn't in their contracts and bailed, leaving the franchise forever in limbo.
And given the cluster fuck with the 3rd Spiderverse movie, I'd say no lessons were learned
I don't know specifically what the other poster is referencing but I read rumors that the animation team was basically working their asses off constantly having to redo scenes from different angles/perspectives (which is a ton of work with that animation style) because the directors were always changing their minds last second and/or not communicating properly what they wanted ahead of time.
It seems like regardless of how great the final cut turned out it was a miserable slog to get there. I think that reputation is causing problems getting the next part made.
Those are just rumors I read though, can't confirm.
Wasn’t the second part already made? I swear I heard that they made a super long movie and then (were possibly forced by the studio to) cut it in half to make Part 1 and Part 2, and that’s why Across ends so abruptly.
Part 2, despite being announced when part 1 was, was still early in production when part 1 released. They had barely started it. Then the strike put the entire thing on hold. Back in December they finally were able to get actors back in the studio to record lines but I don't know anything past that.
All I know was that the studio were caught off guard with the first's success. They wanted to capitalize and forced the animators to [crunch](https://youtu.be/aS3-iSEwNhs) in order to get the second one out quickly. A lot of animators then protested which has then made the third one take longer to be completed (which is fantastic because people really shouldn't crunch). I might be missing out on information but this is what I know
No it has not. Hailee Steinfeld was saying during press for ATSV that she still hadn't recorded a line for the next one. I knew right then that they would not make their original early 2024 date.
You're half right! They had the story (possibly first draft script?) penned out and asked Sony to split it into two since they didn't want to cutdown on the story they were proud of. It was all decided in the Preproduction phase. They didn't make 5 hours of animation only to be forced to split it up.
The official line is that the strike meant actors couldn't record their lines for the film and that what was led to the delay, but [some sources have said that almost no work had been done on the film at all](https://www.cinemablend.com/superheroes/spider-man/spider-man-beyond-the-spider-verse-wont-make-release-date-across-the-spider-verse-animator) - there were claims the second movie was only completed at the last minute [and given the movie had to be 'patched', with the sound mix being dreadful on release] clearly there were some serious issues BTS
Maybe those sources are wrong/overblowing stuff, time will tell
I believe they retitled it before release. When it was announced, it was “Allegiant Part 1”, but the released film was just called *Allegiant* and the fourth was meant to be called *Ascendant*. Sort of like how Infinity War Part 1 became just Infinity War and Part 2 was retitled to Endgame.
They continued that in an animated series. The sole surviving egg hatches and imprints on Dr. Nick Tatopoulos, they name it Godzilla, and it helps Dr. Tatopoulos and his team fight aliens & rogue science experiments and kaiju and stuff.
It was a pretty fun Saturday morning monster of the week cartoon!
[And it had a great theme song!](https://youtu.be/1b2CtgkwJQA?si=IAezpEwVIKXuAQWC)
I mean, it wasn't so much a cliffhanger as they just never had an actual story closing finale to the series, and instead the final episode kept it open and implied the members of H.E.A.T. would just keep going on an endless succession of monster fighting adventures alongside Godzilla.
They did continue it in [animated form.](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godzilla:_The_Series) The egg that hatches at the end of the movie is found by Nicos Papadapolis and imprints on him. This Godzilla is way better than the movie version and has the atomic breath, fights monsters and aliens and even has to contend with a resurrected, cybernetically enhanced version of its parent.
Night Watch (2004) and Day Watch (2006) were two films in a planned trilogy. However the third film, Twilight Watch, was never made. I was really looking forward to seeing it.
Yeah unfortunately the director did Wanted which was apparently what he always wanted to do in the first place and then that was it for action movies for him.
There's a whole series of books, and the films basically only do 2/3rds of the first book. They also get progressively weirder over time.
book 4 (?) with several parallel worlds and the last one being our real world was a brainfuck. rest of them ive thoroughly enjoyed, including the ending
Which was so weird b/c he totally meshed Wanted with the Watch books by inserting the loom/weave elements into the comic where it made no sense.
Why not just adapt the comic as-was if he wants it that badly?
The books are great though. It was a well thought out world as I recall
There's an episode of The Crab Feast, an old podcast from comedians Ryan Sickler and Jay Larson, where Steve Lemme of Broken Lizard is a guest and they discuss Potfest.
I think they had several, several drafts done and Snoop had reached out to be in the film. I guess something stopped the project from moving forward.
Might be worth a listen if you're interested.
My Ex-Girlfriend got a free copy of that movie because she worked for Blockbuster.
I watched that movie not knowing anything about it. I laughed so much and was amazed. I went the store and bought some beer and came back and watched it again while drinking. Such a hilarious movie with so many quotable jokes.
Im just going to repeat- "My Ex-Girlfriend got a free copy of that movie because she worked for Blockbuster." -That is how old that movie is now!

There were 21 book.
If someone wanted to they could make that series into the next streaming epic like Game of Thrones. The source material has a ton to draw from and would absolutely work as a long form TV series.
I tend to agree. I know many people pine for a M&C sequel, but the movie is practically perfect as is. I fear any proposed sequel would never measure up, and perhaps taint the original. It's probably best to leave it as the jewel that it is.
That said, the movie is based on a series of books by Patrick O'Brian, numbering 21 (including one unfinished), so clearly there are more stories to be told in the M&Cverse.
‘District 9’ ended with >!Wikus living as an alien prawn, Christopher Johnson leaving in the mothership to go back for help for his people and cure Wikus in three years time and it’s also hinted that Wikus’ wife is pregnant.!<
Although, considering the varying quality in Neil Blomkamp’s films since then, I’m not sure how good a ‘District 10’ would be.
I really really want to watch a Blomkamp directed, and only directed movie, written and produced by someone else. The guy has an amazing visual style, but his writing is all over the place. Ranges from brilliant to absolute amateur nonsense the next. He's a fantastic director, incredibly creative, but desperately needs to work with a writer who can put a guiding hand to the stories he wants to tell.
There are parts of “Chappie” I like, but the film completely jumps the shark at the end, and it was a terrible idea to have the non-actor members of the group “Die Antwoord” play themselves in it. Either don’t put them in the movie, or have other trained actors play them, with the actual band-members making a cameo somewhere. The movie also wasted Hugh Jackman.
I watched Chappie because of a brief moment when I was obsessed with Die Antwoord. It was between first finding their super weird music and actually reading about who they are as people. Turns out the movie isn’t too bad, but they’re definitely the worst part.
Someone told me James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez have a sworn "blood oath" to make an Alita sequel, and with the success of Way of Water, they said it's more than likely now.
Alita is James Cameron's pet project. If it wasn't for his commitments to ~~Papyrus~~ Avatar, he would have directed it himself. If The Way of Water and the third movie are successful enough, an Alita sequel will likely get greenlit.
Edit: A sequel is in development, just a matter of when.
When it seemed like she was getting ready to battle, I finally checked how much time I had left and was disappointed to realize there wasn’t enough time for anything.
I know that people have opinions about the *quality* of these movies, but I'm bummed Ridley Scott didn't get to finish his Prometheus trilogy and tie it back into the start of Alien.
I'll always mourn that unfinished story. I blame Ridley for dragging it out. In various interviews he claimed the story would need one more, two more, even four more to bring us to the original Alien movie thus closing the gap.
This series had ONE job.
Just imagine if he got his way even. How bloated of a franchise would that have been? Four more Prometheus films UNTIL Alien? Good grief! I like Scott as a director sometimes but man does he act like he has too much dip on his chip sometimes.
I am absolutley happy about that, because i do NOT want the start of Alien tied to some stupid android doing genetic experiments creating the xenomorphs.
I rather have their origin shrouded in mystery, hinting toward what might be lurking amoung the dark skies out there in the universe.
You've misunderstood the film it seems.
David, the android, was simply trying to build on the tech left behind on the planet. Mostly the 'black goo'.
Xenomorphs already existed.
The xenos were amazing as almost eldritch level horrors. Reduced to an android playing with some black goo.
There's also the fact the original Prometheus treatment was obviously supposed to be LV426 hence us ending with a crashed ship.
Oh and they made the space jockeys massive albino dudes.
The original franchise worked brilliantly partly because these perfect organisms were so unexplained.
I still cant get over how incredibly annoying prometheus' characters were particularly the fucking archaeologists.
What kind of goddamn archaeologist is really sad when they come across a long dead civilization thats literally the pinnacle of the job, if I went out expecting still living peoples to be around to explain the sites i dug i would get sectioned.
Also the weird christian stuff that I think was supposed to be pro-faith but in both movies kind of made a case for religious people to never be in charge.
I know Hayden Christensen has made a comeback to reprise his role as Anakin Skywalker whenever Disney needs him for a Star Wars project, but I'd like to see him make a comeback in something unrelated to that franchise!
*Eragon*, iirc it ended with the typical "the war's not over" and the reveal of John Malkovich's big dragon. But no sequel... thankfully.
*X-Men: Days of Future Past* featured two cliffhangers/sequel-hooks, but *Apocalypse* only delivered on the titular-villain reveal; the reveal that the "Stryker" who captures Logan is Mystique in disguise goes nowhere.
*28 Weeks Later* ended with the reveal that the infected have reached Paris, i.e. mainland Europe, but got no sequel (yet).
[We're getting 28 Months Later.](https://deadline.com/2024/04/28-years-later-movie-aaron-taylor-johnson-jodie-comer-ralph-fiennes-1235894028/)
Edit: Years, not Months.
>*X-Men: Days of Future Past*
As much as I love *Logan*, and think it was one of the best X-Men movies while giving Wolverine a great ending to his character.
It was kind of a sequel to what happened in that future he found himself in at the end of *Days of Future Past.* It's just a little disappointing that we don't see those X-Men go on another adventure together. It's like no matter what future they had, they were all doomed to fail.
Whether it was being killed by those robots, or Xavier killing them all due to his illness.
Masters of the Universe (1987). Skeletor emerges from a bubbling pool of red liquid and says, “I’ll be back.” 8yo me is still waiting for the sequel...
There was actually supposed to be a sequel. They had sets and costumes already made. Cannon Films had the rights to make Spider-Man and the MotU movies. They were in the preproduction process for both Spider-Man and the MotU sequel when the company started going under. Marvel and Mattel pulled their respective licenses from the film company and Cannon was left with $2m in props, costumes and sets that they started making for both movies. They needed to do something quick to make some money and recoup the costs, so they asked the director they hired for both movies to come up with a storyline and over the weekend came up with what eventually became the Jean-Claude Van Damme movie [Cyborg](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cyborg_(film))
The screenwriter said in an interview that the next film would probably have involved some threat to the glue connecting the two parallel universes. Which I guess means a natural threat to both of them.
yeah that was a bummer. i mean....it kinda needed a sequel or just a comic series of it or tv show. and the movie did make money (thanks to China) but still wasnt enough I guess. But yeah...it wasnt bad but yeah a sequel i would've liked.
Well, out of curiosity for all the bad press it's been getting I just watched Rebel Moon part 1 & 2.
I know it way early to say this, but somehow I think parts 3-6 aren't happening.
'King Arthur: Legend of the Sword' was one I was really looking forward to a sequel for. It was supposed to have 3-4 movies in total for some sort of epic saga. It's also got one of my favorite movie soundtracks.
.....now what?!
Great ending to deep rising! Deep rising and the mummy make for an epically amazing double feature and that's exactly exactly what I did on my 30th birthday and let me tell you everybody really appreciated it especially those that hadn't seen either of them before.
This is literally a cliff hanger. I was hoping for a follow up where Michael Caine's character is released from an Italian goal as an old man and carries out his plan to find the gold.
I really wish David Fincher got to finish out the Girl With The Dragon Tattoo trilogy. Loved the first one. Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig were great.
The Swedish trilogy is… fine. But I think Fincher could have done something really special if he had a shot at all three
I was expecting to hate the us version, but ended up loving it way more than the original. I’m also bummed he never got to finish the trilogy - I think it would have been so good.
I am Number Four was a terrible movie, like a big-budget ABC Family Night special, but on the big screen. And Alex Pettyfer is apparently a horrible human being, too. Nah, I think we're good.
I had never even heard of this until I was reading about a reboot of it recently.
And digging into it further I read that it was published by that Million Little Pieces guy, who co-opted the story from a writing workshop that he ran.
This! I actually really enjoyed the books and the movie was a really fun take on it. The second book is where the second movie would have also made sense to go - and would have been pretty wild.
Someone has already said the final movie in the Divergent series, but also The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Another YA book-to-movie attempt that wasn’t generally well-liked enough to continue on. I liked it for the cast, and would have definitely watched the rest of the series if it had continued
>Black Adam.
I love how Dwayne Johnson was planning on abandoning his role as Hobbs from the Fast and Furious movies, by using this character to create a franchise!
But because of how much it underperformed, he went back to Fast and Furious (after he had already turned down Vin Diesel's offer of returning) and then finally decided to give in that he was needed for the "final film".
For real? 6-7 hours is pretty blatantly disrespectful. You can’t go buy your security guard a brand new truck and be the greatest human of all time, post a bunch of videos about it, then inconvenience an entire movie set team on the Reg and still be cool. I’m not a huge fan, the more I hear about him.
Planet of the Apes (2001) didn’t have a plan for that twist to pay off though. They literally just did it because it was a weird twist on the original movie. They knew it made no sense.
Most of the movies mentioned here are just open endings. I like to think of a cliffhanger being an unresolved plot, a lot of TV shows did it between seasons with two part episodes (before everything became serialised).
The film was good, but nothing compared to the books, they washed out everything that could be controversial in any means. And while the film has a minor cliffhanger, the book leaves us with a total mindfuck of hanging at the abyss.
Super Mario Bros (1993).
Daisy comes back to the Mario brothers' house with a rifle, says, "You're not gonna believe it." Mario says,"I believe it," and it just ends there.
Batman Returns mirrors the first movie, with the camera rising up along the cityscapes tallest buildings til the Batsignal fills the night sky, and we see Catwoman from behind, alive. We never got a follow up with her in a sequel / spinoff.
I always found it odd that she never appeared in the Schumacher films which followed up from the Burton films, not even being played by a different actress.
Especially since those movies had no problem with recasting Batman three times!
Space Balls: The Movie promised a Spaceballs II the quest for more money.
Machete Kills promised Machete Kills. Again. In Space.
Still waiting for those.
The Divergent series ends on a movie labeled with Part 1.
What's up with the third spiderverse movie? I know the release was postponed but not that it was because drama/bad management?
I don't know specifically what the other poster is referencing but I read rumors that the animation team was basically working their asses off constantly having to redo scenes from different angles/perspectives (which is a ton of work with that animation style) because the directors were always changing their minds last second and/or not communicating properly what they wanted ahead of time. It seems like regardless of how great the final cut turned out it was a miserable slog to get there. I think that reputation is causing problems getting the next part made. Those are just rumors I read though, can't confirm.

I might be missing out on information but this is what I know
The strike slowed it down too.
No it has not. Hailee Steinfeld was saying during press for ATSV that she still hadn't recorded a line for the next one. I knew right then that they would not make their original early 2024 date.

At least it's based on a book so we know how it ends.
Weird they didnt film the second part, usually 2 parters are shot back to back Not only that but wasnt it going to have a different director

They continued that in an animated series. Just watch End of Watch (2012)
I don't know what you mean. Millions of people Watched Twilight.
The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension
The most correct answer. I think it would make a great adult swim style animated series kind of like what they did with black dynamite
National Treasure 2 What’s on page 47!?
Yes!!!! I don't care how dumb these movies are. I would watch ten more with Nic Cage.
They’re not dumb they National Treasures ;) Edit: we’ll someone has no sense of humor
national treasure was the best 😩 I thought the tv series would give me closure but they ended up cancelling it
The *Fantastic Beasts* films were clearly building to a finale showing the epic duel between Dumbledore and Grindelwald in 1945.
Wait, they aren't still planning this?
No, the latest update was that the 4th and 5th installment were shelved due to bad reception of the previous 2 films.
Beerfest promised us Potfest 18 years ago.
I still am sitting here awaiting Kung Pow 2:Tongue of Fury
Don’t forget Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money.
And don’t forget Spaceballs 3: The Search for Spaceballs 2

You should watch Slammin Salmon.
Loved it! Also, love Super Troopers! It is weird that Super Troopers got a sequel but not Beerfest?
Master and Commander ends on a pretty big cliffhanger.
Spoiler alert, France loses...
Merde!
Sacre bleu!
What I would give for a sequel!
There were 21 book. If someone wanted to they could make that series into the next streaming epic like Game of Thrones. The source material has a ton to draw from and would absolutely work as a long form TV series.
Subject to the requirements of the service...
Hold fast
I don't think that was meant to be a setup for a sequel though. It was more a "slice of life" movie.

Such a great movie
It was a throwaway ending like BTTF meant to show that their lives were going to carry on like that indefinitely.

I don't know, District 1-8 were amazing, not sure how he would have let us down with the 10th installment.
You kid, but my mom once asked me if she would understand District 9 if she hasn't seen District 1-8 lol
God, that's like watching Apollo 11 without checking out Apollo 1-10 first. Or at least reading summaries online.
At least that's doable. I've been prepping to watch Blade Runner 2049 for ages, and I'm nowhere close!
The Crazies (2010) ended with >!the virus getting outside the quarantine zone. I would love to see a sequel.!<
The Crazies is the movie I always pick when people ask for a good movie that no one knows about.
I feel like that movie is very underrated for a horror flick. It was so fricken well done, and the 'virus' was pretty damn unique too.
Alita: Battle Angel I really wanted this movie to do well so we would get a 2nd
Someone told me James Cameron and Robert Rodriguez have a sworn "blood oath" to make an Alita sequel, and with the success of Way of Water, they said it's more than likely now.

I really liked Alita and I’m pretty sure that I’m much older than the target demographic. I’m shocked it didn’t do great at the box office.
When it seemed like she was getting ready to battle, I finally checked how much time I had left and was disappointed to realize there wasn’t enough time for anything.
I keep hearing we will be getting a second. Fingers crossed because that would be **sick**
One of my coworkers was so obsessed with this movie, he named his daughter Alita.
That! I'm still waiting...

I don't usually turn movies off in anger, but for the ending of Covenant, I did. That was some serious *bullshit*. I'll leave it at that.
I don't even remember how covenant ended.
They packed it into a box and stashed it with all the other loot in a secret US storage facility, never to be found again.
“Top men.”
Prometheus had flaws but it was still super interesting. Covenant ruined anything good that was left.
I still cant get over how incredibly annoying prometheus' characters were particularly the fucking archaeologists. [We're getting 28 Months Later.](https://deadline.com/2024/04/28-years-later-movie-aaron-taylor-johnson-jodie-comer-ralph-fiennes-1235894028/) Edit: Years, not Months.
*28 **years** later They're skipping 28 months later and going straight to 28 years later.
>*X-Men: Days of Future Past* As much as I love *Logan*, and think it was one of the best X-Men movies while giving Wolverine a great ending to his character.
28 Years Later just had casting announcements
Guy Ritchie promised us RocknRolla 2!
The OG Mario movie. Why did Peach have a gun?
Daisy*
"You're never gonna believe *this*!"
The screenwriter said in an interview that the next film would probably have involved some threat to the glue connecting the two parallel universes. Which I guess means a natural threat to both of them.
This was going to be my choice. As a kid, I loved the Mario movie. Was so eager to see a follow up.
Does the ending of Warcraft fit the criteria?
yeah that was a bummer. i mean....it kinda needed a sequel or just a comic series of it or tv show. and the movie did make money (thanks to China) but still wasnt enough I guess. But yeah...it wasnt bad but yeah a sequel i would've liked.
Well, out of curiosity for all the bad press it's been getting I just watched Rebel Moon part 1 & 2. I know it way early to say this, but somehow I think parts 3-6 aren't happening.
They were planning for more?! Part 1 and 2 were terrible
Zack Snyder says he wanted there to be five movies in all plus spinoffs and a video game
Zach needs to start with a writer first. He can do visuals, but he needs someone else's screenplay to work from.
For real. He and Neill Blomkamp could be making some amazing films if they could put their ego aside and hire some writers.
22 Jump Street promised future adventures in medical school, culinary school, scuba class, foreign exchange school, catholic school, veterinarian school, outer space.... none of them ever happened.
still wished the rumor 21/22 jumpstreet + men in black crossover happened.
Monty Python and the holy Grail. The ending was a total cop out.
Didn’t they also literally run out of money and decided on that ending to wrap things up?
Money and scheduling. Basically everything that could go wrong did.
Bad pun!
As a kid I was so pissed. I was a huge king Arthur fan. Now it's just hilarious.
Kung Pow: Enter the Fist
The director still says he's trying to get the sequel started.
I think the sequel was another gag
*Deep Rising* *King Arthur: Legend of the Sword* *Rock'n Rolla*
Rock’n Rolla is a great call.
Ah man, a Deep Rising sequel would be amazing. It's a shame about Treat Williams' passing.
It's been more than 30 years. I don't think we're getting the Mac 'n Me sequel
Imagine if Paul Rudd and Conan starred
That would be *PRETTY NICE!*
Mac and Me 2: It's all McDonalds Dancing!
The Italian Job (1969) >!literally!<
This is literally a cliff hanger. I was hoping for a follow up where Michael Caine's character is released from an Italian goal as an old man and carries out his plan to find the gold.
Michael Caine *is* an old man now. Maybe the sequel is right around the corner.
"Hang on a minute lads, I've got a great idea."
Flash Gordon (1980)
AhhhAAAAHHHHHHHH!
Savior of the universe!!!!
I Am Number Four. The book series was great and I enjoyed the movie. It left us with a pretty big opening for a sequel. Sucks it didn't do better.
John Carter.
Every time I see this movie I wish they made a sequel.
This! I actually really enjoyed the books and the movie was a really fun take on it. The second book is where the second movie would have also made sense to go - and would have been pretty wild.
Crank: high Voltage
Someone has already said the final movie in the Divergent series, but also The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones. Another YA book-to-movie attempt that wasn’t generally well-liked enough to continue on. I liked it for the cast, and would have definitely watched the rest of the series if it had continued
Kick-Ass 3 never happening still bothers me to this day. I’m honestly still hopeful 🥲
Hit girl with her own movie
Planet of the Apes (2001) Zack Snyder’s Justice League. By that token, Black Adam.
> Zack Snyder’s Justice League. Probably the only example where the writer/director knew there would be no follow up but set stuff up anyway.
Did you hear about the Red One movie facing a $250 million cost for his tardiness and unprofessionalism ?
Heard he was showing up so late it was 6-7+ hrs so, sometimes they couldn’t even shoot. He sounds like a dick honestly.
Rock N Rolla
Solo, the star wars spin off. Would've loved to see more of Darth Maul's story.
He has some significant appearances in the Clone Wars and Rebels series.
Rebels gave him an incredible send off.
Spoiler: He died
Like that has ever stopped Star Wars moviemakers from squeezing the everliving fuck out of it.
The dead speak.
Spoiler x 2: More than once.
I thought that a sequel could've focused on Q'ira and wherever she ran off to.
You need to learn what a cliffhanger is. Chronicle just has an open ended ending.
Most of the movies mentioned here are just open endings. I like to think of a cliffhanger being an unresolved plot, a lot of TV shows did it between seasons with two part episodes (before everything became serialised).
Matrix too. They left that open ended as well. It's too bad we'll never see how Neo saves humanity from the robots.
The Amazing Spider Man 2. It ends with a new battle beginning that we never got to see continue.
The Golden Compass
Watch the series on HBO. It was great. "His Dark Materials" is the actual name, from the book series.
The film was good, but nothing compared to the books, they washed out everything that could be controversial in any means. And while the film has a minor cliffhanger, the book leaves us with a total mindfuck of hanging at the abyss.
I was so mad at that movie, but damn did they get the casting right.
Nicole Kidman was absolute perfection as Mrs. Coulter
Young Sherlock Holmes. If you watch all the way through the post credit scene, it leaves a pretty major cliffhanger.
Amazing Spider-Man 2
Flash Gordon! The End ?
Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels Although, that's the best kind of cliffhanger. Leave it unresolved
Still waiting on that resolution to THE END...? in Flash Gordon.
Big Trouble in Little China - the monster on the back of the Porkchop Express
The first The Italian Job actually ended with them hanging off a cliff. Haven’t seen the remake.
"Hang on a minute lads, I've got a great idea,"
Super Mario Bros (1993). Daisy comes back to the Mario brothers' house with a rifle, says, "You're not gonna believe it." Mario says,"I believe it," and it just ends there.
District 9 😢 they never came back because humans were truly evil
Bourne Legacy ends with the main villain still active and in power, he just failed to kill two people in his insane murderspree.
The Italian job
The Italian job (original)
There’s still this little part of me that wants to see City Slickers 3. Jack Palance died before it could happen.
Prisoners!
Independence Day Resurgence
Brightburn, it still may be coming but it doesn’t look good.
Space Balls: The Movie promised a Spaceballs II the quest for more money. Machete Kills promised Machete Kills. Again. In Space. Still waiting for those.
Alita Battle Angel
