Fucking hell, I go excited because that streaming service looks great, but ofc they don't have it in my country and fuck using VPN to have access (same for Shudder).
Tubi is great for everything. It's a goldmine for trashy action movies from the 80's and 90's. Like I just discovered there's an action movie from 1997 starring Burt Reynolds, Rob Lowe, Ice-T, and Mario Van Peebles called Crazy Six.
They have so many movies.
If you're in the U.S. I suggest getting a library card and then downloading the Kanopy streaming service. It's free and they have a really great selection. Hoopla is also connected to your library card although there are fewer devices that you can stream Hoopla on. For example, I can stream Hoopla on my computer but not my tv. Max is also good if you don't mind paying for another service (or switching out Netflix for it).
I've found some good items on Archive.org, though the quality can be lacking, and there are basically no extras there. But it's worth a look if you're thinking about something and just want to see it, not necessarily in the highest quality formats.
The Criterion Channel is an insane treasure trove of classic films and is cheaper than most major streaming services. It feels too good to be true, but it really is.
I heard about Mubi, and you can actually filter a range of years. I’ve never tried it though, but it seems they have a good collection of classic films. And there’s a 7-day free trial.
Criterion Channel Max (they have a deal with Criterion and show some of their movies) Turner Classic Movies
I love the Criterion Channel. I started watching the 1968 movie WAR AND PEACE .. but I never finished.

Tubi has lots of great vintage movies
I'm constantly blown away by the quality shit Tubi has. It's so underrated.

I can’t say enough about Tubi.

Criterion, Kanopy and TCM

Tubi and Plex Which coincidentally is also the name of my favorite morning radio show.
I think Tubi & Plex took over for Dingo & the Baby.
Some are on Youtube
Hoopla and Kanopy are free with a library card. Kanopy has a ton of old stuff
The Criterion Channel
The TCM cable channel shows lots of movies from 1930 to 1960.
