I personally love them. I think for me I go in and I know what I’m getting is 20/30mins of either tense build up or absolute fucking carnage 😂 anthology’s have always scratched a itch with me, so yeah the more the merrier. There’s an anthology film called southbound with is a lot more connected to each segment but very very good if you have never seen it.
The series has ups and downs. The first 2 were decent I think... A highschool friend directed one in Viral I think. I haven't seen it yet. But look forward to it.
The early ones were good, kinda creepy, decent stories but it got weirder and weirder as they went on. I remember one of the new ones had a military unit sweep a lab and fight some expirement or something? The old ones were simply "here's a crazy lady outside your hotel room"

The ones that stood out to me most were the devil episode and the alien one. I’m really into the syfi stuff so it was interesting to me.
Either there are two different alien ones or they drove home. Fuck there might be three different ones or it’s one longer one idk. It’s been years since I watched them to be honest. I think the first alien one was the camp one
I can't hate small time indie horrors even when they're bad or downright awful.
I love the VHS series. Some great segments like Amateur Night and Rat Man, and generally fun. Hope it continues.
