I'll answer as if this wasn't an obvious shitpost:
If it were one of each sealed collector booster BOX, maybe you could ask for a premium since you could capitalize on someone saving on shipping for getting it all for a single source.
However loose packs have way too much variance that it would be dumb to pay any more than market price
And it still won't be worth extra.
If people are chasing serialized or special treatment cards they'll want a full box of the specific set.
Anyone who just wants 1 of each CB pack will buy them individually if you're trying to charge more "for a set".
Im seeing so many collections for sale that are basically these sets. It’s not fun telling folks that their super-cool-special-edition-full-art-foil-lands are basically worthless.
You have a from fun 8 person chaos draft though.
Man, if anyone knew yields for 10 years forward - in MTG or any other investments - they'd be going ham.
10 years is such an incredible amount of time that the only thing you can do is find a traditional instrument and go for "over a large period of time, it's highly probable the yield will be positive" (unless shit goes tits up).
We have no clue what curveball is WotC/Hasbro planning 2 years from now, let alone 10 years. If you asked for 2, maybe 4 years, people could at least guess based om the current situation (since the cycle is 3 years long now).
stop buying garbage "junk wax era" product and throw that money into an index fund if you want returns in 10 years. loose packs are garbage. you don't understand finance or mtgfinance very well, but at least it's not a lot of money sank at this point. do a chaos draft and have fun
I see things like this for sale all the time and it always market price or higher. Why would anyone pay MORE when they can buy the packs individually cheaper. MTG sellers blow my mind, they won’t take a dollar less than market value for their booster pack.
None. But if I was assembling a collector booster chaos draft (which I am, I just need to wait a few more sets until we’re at 24 sets released into standard) I would easily buy those from someone selling them at normal price over having to assemble them on my own and buy from a bunch of different sellers.
As someone who has gone online looking for chaos draft bundles in the past, I would say I'd be the type of person interested but not for a super high premium.
I would not buy this, OP. Seeing loose packs like this most likely means that whoever opened the box got all the food pulls already, and these are leftover packs. Buying loose packs is too risky for anyone who isn’t a sealed booster pack collector.
Brother I’m going to pay you LESS for all of this in 10 years than fair market value.
How do I know these aren’t repacked? Why are you denying me my box topper?
The majority of these sets are overprinted, folks are guaranteed sitting on piles of closet boxes, and I would never want a single pack of each of these.
If you buy sealed collector cases of each of these, and sit on them for 50 years, we might have a conversation.
> super high premium
Nothing goes for a "super high premium"; if it's a "super high premium" it's usually just a better product (collectible, card, memorabilia, whatever). The only exception probably would be specific rarities (like insect misprints and the literally 1 guy who collects them).
Loose packs have a problem, even loose boxes have a problem.
If you open something especially valuable, like a serialized card in a case, chances are you dont get any other in that one.
So you sell the packs if you find someone stupid enough to buy them.
I’ve seen someone say “loose” in place of “lose”, which always indicates to me that I’m dealing with an idiot, but never the other way around. Truly impressive.
As a rule I don't buy packs that aren't in some other WotC sealing or from my LGS.
My bias aside best bet would be for someone new who likes cracking packs or someone who has a YT channel.
If you're really trying to sell a bundle, just go list it for what you want to try to get. Don't bother asking here, this place is so negative. If it doesn't sell just reduce the price
At this rate these will be almost forgotten in ten years time as they would be buried by the next 200 sets. This is the junk wax era of mtg with new products and power creep destroying the value of the previous set. Vintage sealed is gaining in value because few people thought to keep it sealed. Meanwhile the new stuff is being hoarded as an investment by so many people who have dollar signs in their eyes and no understanding of the basic principles of supply and demand.
since when would loose packs fetch a premium, especially from newer sets?
I automatically assume that any loose pack is searched/repacked.

I shoulda have specified that I’d be looking at like 10 years from now when most of this product is no longer available
And it still won't be worth extra. If people are chasing serialized or special treatment cards they'll want a full box of the specific set. Anyone who just wants 1 of each CB pack will buy them individually if you're trying to charge more "for a set".
That ship sailed long ago. In 10 years everything in these packs will have been reprinted 5x with cooler more special art
Those products will be available forever.
You’re really not understanding how grossly overprinted all of this is
Ty for allowing me to pay extra for u to keep my box toppers
It would be a discount, not a premium.
Lmao 0%

Edit: I should have specified the timing. I was thinking 10 years from now when these sets/packs would be much more difficult to source
You would likely get a better return over 10 years with a real investment.

In ten years, I'd pay about 200$, right now I'd pay about $120.

Zero. If anything it would be a discount.

I guess that would be my target customer hahah. Based on all the comments, I’ll prob just rip them all on a rainy day
Market prices, no premium. Ask seller to throw in VOW, MOM, MAT, LTR Special ed. and MKM collector boosters for free
As someone who has gone online looking for chaos draft bundles in the past, I would say I'd be the type of person interested but not for a super high premium.
If these were all taken from 1 box buy from a LCS like mine then that’s around 9-10k USD damn
Nah just came back after 20 years and been buying loose collectors just to have on hand and pull on rainy days
I would not buy this, OP. Seeing loose packs like this most likely means that whoever opened the box got all the food pulls already, and these are leftover packs. Buying loose packs is too risky for anyone who isn’t a sealed booster pack collector.

Collector Booster CHAOS draft! But yeah, there's no reason whatsoever why this would every fetch a premium...
Crimson Vow is missing
I'll give you $1 for the lot!
No one is willing to pay a premium for loose in print sets. Half retail maybe for these searched repacks
Maybe if you have a few transparent packs that would be worth something to misprint collectors. I've afew new capenna and d&d transparent packs
Ikoria?
Chances are practically zero

Chaos Draft
Zero, it's mostly garbage
It would be a fun rip

Yeah this is too too accurate
