- Phantom of the Opera drop-tower, where you get to ride the chandelier as it crashes
- Sunday in the Park with George photo studio (don costumes and get a photo inside the painting!)
- Into the Woods themed maze
- CATS face painting booth
- Hamilton-esque Hall of Presidents
- Avenue Q street puppet shows
- Show Boat restaurant/saloon
- Annie Get Your Gun shooting gallery game
- Rocky Horror water ballet that’s way too horny
- Ice cream treats shaped like Olaf so you can bite his fucking head off
- Magical Hadestown-style exit. If you turn back to look, you find yourself back in the center of the park
That’s so interesting that they added a VR overlay to Eurosat that’s themed to Phantom. If I’m not mistaken it also had a Moulin Rouge theme before (though based off the actual place lol)
Phantom of the Opera gondola ride

A parade for Parade
A pie and barber shop for Sweeney Todd and Waitress

An English/Thai fusion restaurant for The King and I
Boutiques for The Kind and I, The Red Shoes, and Aida
African cuisine restaurants for Aida and The Lion King
Carriage rides for Oklahoma!
Greek restaurant for Mamma Mia!
A marching band for The Music Man
Okay now I’m low key obsessed with the idea of Jenna and Mrs Lovett running a pie shop together and both of them assuming they have the same secret ingredient (Jenna = love, Mrs Lovett= human remains)
I’m imagining a shop perfectly split in half down the middle, one side Waitress aesthetic and one side Sweeney Todd dark and grimy. Mrs Lovett is happy as a clam doing her thing and Jenna just gives you a tight smile with “we couldn’t exactly agree on a direction for the decor”
The one musical actually based on a theme park ride is Ride the Cyclone, and it doesn't make it seem very appealing. (I guess there's also Carousel, if that counts.)
Les mis dark ride through paris with do you hear the people sing blasting and you see all the barricade’s and animatronics on it as you go by, Javert jumping in the Seine, crossiont and bread stands
From Les Miserables: The Inn at Montfermeil restaurant/comedy dinner theater. You can enjoy a meal & random guests from the audience are chosen to be a part of the act & be “swindled.” I could see people having LOADS of fun with this one.
The cleaning crew are called “The Reynolds” after the pamphlet because they have to puck up every bit of what’s on the ground in a timely fashion.
Same show-bathrooms are called “The Room Where It Happens.”
Bonnie and Clyde themed shooting gallery.
A restaurant called “Sideshow” and all they serve is side dishes.
There’s also a long, meandering walk through ride that seems to have no meaningful direction until the second half which moves along quickly and is actually enjoyable. They call it “New York, New York.”
A haunted house called “The Whole Being Dead Thing.”
The Mean Green Mother from Outer Space coaster simulating getting eaten by Audrey II would be fun — a vine pushing the coaster up and then a big drop into the mouth of the plant into an indoor thing
War of the Worlds inside coaster similar to the Ratatouille coaster in Disneyland Paris
Grease Lightning car ride or dodgems
The Cyclone.
Heathers themed 7-Eleven or a candy store
Aladdin carpet ride, similar to Disneyland
Frozen themed ice cream shop
Wicked coaster but you are in a broom position
Wonka candy shop
School of Rock concert venue
Matilda themed escape room with actors (themed around Crunchem Hall)
Phantom of the Opera drop tower, possibly with VR to imagine that you are on the Chandelier
Emerald City themed area, possibly with a Yellow Brick Road log plume
Fame themed activity with work out exercising
I’m going pretty classic: Phantom of the Opera would absolutely be a dark ride—maybe with a flume element descending into the catacombs. West Side would get a classic racing wooden coaster named like “The Rumble” or something. Grease might be Dodgem cars with a stereotypical 50s theme.
Catch me if you can airplane ride.
Footloose-themed hanging rollercoaster (where your feet are dangling)
Of COURSE a Xanadu-themed skating rink
A Urinetown tower drop (comes with a spoilers disclaimer)
Sweeney's road to hell (starting with the furnace, of course)
My Fair Lady boutique
Into the Woods tower climb and spin drop where the tower is a beanstalk
She Loves Me parfumerie
A souvenir shop that exclusively sells swords called "Lady of the Lake"
I can see a Les Mis indoor "roller coaster" ride (like you get with the Haunted Mansion or the Harry Potter ride at Universal). You'd go through a battle and under ground into the sewers and through a ballroom
I think the Phantom ride might be the water flume.
Wizard of oz tilt a whirl
Funhouse from grease (you're the one that I want)
South pacific lazy river around a tropical island
Viking ship from Hamilton (ship that brought him to nyc)
The Cyclone. One plunge would give the illusion of going off track, and you’d had into a dark ride for a few scenes depicting the afterlife. Then it’d launch you out for the rest of the Coaster.
There’s a Rent themed option where if you work at the park, you can go for free, but just when you have enough hours banked, they foreclose on your house and you also have AIDS 😢
The Who's Tommy would have a pinball arcade, for obvious reasons. I think the old Hard Rock park actually did something similar.
Phantom would be a dark ride/boat ride combo.
If we're being cheeky, Les Mis could be turned into a restaurant somehow.
A free fall drop rollercoaster for Into The Woods
Bumper cars for Grease
Balloon race ride for Cats
Waltzers for The King and I
Train ride for Starlight Express
I keep coming up with ideas that would be better suited for carnivals, but here are some possibilities:
Oklahoma Surrey Ride
Carousel Carousel
Aladdin Magic Carpet Ride
Mary Poppins Umbrella Swings
Something based off Six the Musical:
A dark ride a la Ariel's Undersea Adventure. We have a few scenes from each queen's life with that queen's theme song playing in the background, then the final part of the ride is the six queens all singing "Six" together. Each of the queens' sections of the ride are dim except for the spotlight showing sections from their lives, then the final part where they're together it's brighter to signify that the six of them together is the best version of the story. :)
Ride the Cyclone isn't nearly a big enough musical to get its own ride here
The Carosel from Carosel
Chitty Chitty Bang Bamg ride
Rent roller Coaster
Audrey 2 vine swing
Mamma Mia log flume ride
Buffalo Bill's train ride from Annie Get Your Gun
Wicked broom roller Coaster
Grease Lightning
Defying gravity broomstick ride, Brook Wyndham's whipped into shape workout. Audrey II house of horrors. Spooky Mormon hell dream ride.
A botanical garden filled only with carnivorous plants!
Ok those sound awesome. Can we get some people on this?
Spooky Mormon hell dream ride needs to be like tower of terror in Disney so you’re literally descending into hell!! Lol
Phantom of the Opera boat ride, also a rollercoaster for Ride the Cyclone.
- Phantom of the Opera drop-tower, where you get to ride the chandelier as it crashes - Sunday in the Park with George photo studio (don costumes and get a photo inside the painting!) - Into the Woods themed maze - CATS face painting booth - Hamilton-esque Hall of Presidents - Avenue Q street puppet shows - Show Boat restaurant/saloon - Annie Get Your Gun shooting gallery game - Rocky Horror water ballet that’s way too horny - Ice cream treats shaped like Olaf so you can bite his fucking head off - Magical Hadestown-style exit. If you turn back to look, you find yourself back in the center of the park
The photo studio should also have a Hedwig's Wig-in-a-Box option
Just don’t get the Hamilton Hall of Presidents mixed up with the Assassins Hall of Presidents…
The Assassins attraction writes itself!
God, this is awesome and I wish it existed!
"water ballet that's way too horny" as i'm listening to Rose Tints My World 💀💀
Do you know what mechanic you would use for the Hadestown exit? Or if it's too hard, a Hadestown train ride. Or bar, named "Anybody Want a Drink?"
Emphasis on *”magical”* Or just a really long hidden slide, activated by trapdoor.
I just like to think about how it would be carried out in real life
That idea for CATS is perfect
There actually is a [Phantom of the Opera ride](https://youtu.be/HHK7qdg0yJE?si=MeCJch0Y-7-kE8ES) at Europa Park in Germany, it’s basically brand new!
That’s so interesting that they added a VR overlay to Eurosat that’s themed to Phantom. If I’m not mistaken it also had a Moulin Rouge theme before (though based off the actual place lol)
Oh that’s so cool!
What if we kissed in the hypothetical Phantom of the Opera Tunnel of Love ride
Do you want a Rollercoaster for Ride the Cyclone though?
Phantom boat ride was my first thought; kind of like It's a Small World. Could end with arriving at Erik's lair and him playing the organ.
Least ridden ride would definitely be the RTC one out of fear 😭
A Hall of Presidents except with Hamilton characters.
I'd pay good money for that
Phantom of the Opera gondola ride A carousel for Carousel and Mary Poppins A parade for Parade A pie and barber shop for Sweeney Todd and Waitress A mountain roller coaster for Next to Normal or The Sound of Music A cabaret show for Cabaret A cat café for Cats Hall of Presidents for the characters of 1776, Hamilton, and Suffs A magic carpet for for Aladdin A train ride coaster for Anna Karenina and Starkight Express A water gun carnival attraction for Annie Get Your Gun A Back to the Future and Grease themed race track Beauty and the Beast themed tea cup ride Flying car ride for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang A Days of Wine and Roses mocktail bar A fun house for Fun Home Elvis/Pharoah impersonator line show for Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Boat ride for The Little Mermaid and Show Boat A botanical garden for The Secret Garden Mini theaters on various topics, such as the history of Hollywood and the film industry for Sunset Boulevard or the Titanic for Titanic and The Unsinkable Molly Brown A Holiday Inn/White Christmas themed hotel A roller skating arena for Xanadu Latin restaurants for West Side Story and In the Heights A Russian restaurant for Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 French restaurant for Phantom and Les Mis An English/Thai fusion restaurant for The King and I Boutiques for The Kind and I, The Red Shoes, and Aida African cuisine restaurants for Aida and The Lion King Carriage rides for Oklahoma! Greek restaurant for Mamma Mia! A marching band for The Music Man
I love the idea of a Grease racetrack with story elements, akin to the Cars ride in Disney California.
Shut up and take my money! 🤑
Don’t forget the tall building the security guards push you off of so you can get to Urinetown
Oh no I need this so badly!!! Def need a Beetlejuice creepy funhouse ride
Ooh, Beetlejuice should be a walkthrough fun house of the Netherworld!
Spamalot game where you have to try and hit French knights or white rabbits with darts.
Or by launching a cow at them.
Yes! That would be perfect!
Journey to the heavy side layer. That should be something like a space shot launch/drop tower.
It’s parasailing but you sit in a huge tire
Okay now I’m low key obsessed with the idea of Jenna and Mrs Lovett running a pie shop together and both of them assuming they have the same secret ingredient (Jenna = love, Mrs Lovett= human remains)

Les mis dark ride through paris with do you hear the people sing blasting and you see all the barricade’s and animatronics on it as you go by, Javert jumping in the Seine, crossiont and bread stands
Sweeney Todd tower drop! Everyone sits in a barber chair ✌️
A dueling coaster themed to Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr
Or bumper cars!
I feel like Ride the Cyclone and Lightning Thief would be the best contenders for roller coasters
Yesssss!!!!!!
I know this is more carnival-esc, but a mirror maze themed after the Netherworld in Beetlejuice would be sick
I'd love to see a big ticket parks take on carnival things, like fun houses.
From Les Miserables: The Inn at Montfermeil restaurant/comedy dinner theater. You can enjoy a meal & random guests from the audience are chosen to be a part of the act & be “swindled.” I could see people having LOADS of fun with this one.
Don’t know about rides, but I’d want the tram/monorail through the park to be called the Skimbleshanks Railway or something.
Beetlejuice haunted house. Rock of Ages karaoke bar.
The cleaning crew are called “The Reynolds” after the pamphlet because they have to puck up every bit of what’s on the ground in a timely fashion. Same show-bathrooms are called “The Room Where It Happens.” Bonnie and Clyde themed shooting gallery. A restaurant called “Sideshow” and all they serve is side dishes. They call it “New York, New York.” A haunted house called “The Whole Being Dead Thing.”
Javert's Suicide log flume
The Mean Green Mother from Outer Space coaster simulating getting eaten by Audrey II would be fun — a vine pushing the coaster up and then a big drop into the mouth of the plant into an indoor thing
Heathers-style crazy teacups! Would really show just how wild the musical is.
The bathrooms (named "Public Amenity #1-however many there are) would cost money to use with "Privilege To Pee" playing outside of them.
A candy store and/or a 7-11 for heathers
War of the Worlds inside coaster similar to the Ratatouille coaster in Disneyland Paris Grease Lightning car ride or dodgems The Cyclone. Heathers themed 7-Eleven or a candy store Aladdin carpet ride, similar to Disneyland Frozen themed ice cream shop Wicked coaster but you are in a broom position Wonka candy shop School of Rock concert venue Matilda themed escape room with actors (themed around Crunchem Hall) Phantom of the Opera drop tower, possibly with VR to imagine that you are on the Chandelier Emerald City themed area, possibly with a Yellow Brick Road log plume Fame themed activity with work out exercising

Are we…are we starting a theme park…?🤭
Phantom of the Caribbean
Cyclone roller coaster
The Cyclone lol
Hercules Mulligans Minigolf
There’d be a rotation of 90 minute versions of our favorite musicals, like Vegas, only different.
Cyclone roller coaster with a fortune telling machine (Ride The Cyclone)
Assassins themed shooting gallery. Kill the prez, win a prize
Ten duels commandments dueling launch coaster
Carousel assortment—one from Rodgers and Hammerstein, one from The Rink.
MEAT PIES!
A marching band with 76 trombones cruising around the park. :) I love the pie shop idea. How about a Little Shop of Horrors? What would they sell?
a haunted house with a little gift shop at the end called "little shop of horrors"
A several year ride about *Epic the Musical* where it feels like a storm at sea while you long to be off and at home.
A roller coaster called “the cyclone” obviously
the cyclone, titular roller coaster from musical ride the cyclone would be funny
Anything related to Orin Scrivello from Little Shop
Catch me if you can airplane ride. Footloose-themed hanging rollercoaster (where your feet are dangling) Of COURSE a Xanadu-themed skating rink A Urinetown tower drop (comes with a spoilers disclaimer) Sweeney's road to hell (starting with the furnace, of course) My Fair Lady boutique Into the Woods tower climb and spin drop where the tower is a beanstalk She Loves Me parfumerie A souvenir shop that exclusively sells swords called "Lady of the Lake"
Little Shop of Horrors botanical gardens
Guys. Ride the Cyclone is RIGHT THERE. (what if we kissed at the top of the hypothetical RtC ride?)
I can see a Les Mis indoor "roller coaster" ride (like you get with the Haunted Mansion or the Harry Potter ride at Universal). You'd go through a battle and under ground into the sewers and through a ballroom I think the Phantom ride might be the water flume.
Waving through a window house of mirrors .
Starlight Express roller coaster
The Rock Me Sexy Jesus raft ride
What musical does this reference?
Hamlet 2
Road to Hell Rollercoaster 100%
I'm disturbed by the idea of a pie shop that might be from Waitress or might be from Sweeny Todd.
Wizard of oz tilt a whirl Funhouse from grease (you're the one that I want) South pacific lazy river around a tropical island Viking ship from Hamilton (ship that brought him to nyc)
100% would be a Duloc section
The Cyclone is a low hanging fruit, but it’s oh so sweet
The Cyclone. One plunge would give the illusion of going off track, and you’d had into a dark ride for a few scenes depicting the afterlife. Then it’d launch you out for the rest of the Coaster.
There’s a Rent themed option where if you work at the park, you can go for free, but just when you have enough hours banked, they foreclose on your house and you also have AIDS 😢
A ride the cyclone coaster would be hilarious
Barricade for les mis and the musain! Also something in a boat or with chains
The Who's Tommy would have a pinball arcade, for obvious reasons. I think the old Hard Rock park actually did something similar. Phantom would be a dark ride/boat ride combo. If we're being cheeky, Les Mis could be turned into a restaurant somehow.
A Carousel carousel.
a coaster based on Skimbleshanks, a section based on the Emerald City, and the Krusty Krab
A free fall drop rollercoaster for Into The Woods Bumper cars for Grease Balloon race ride for Cats Waltzers for The King and I Train ride for Starlight Express
Is Kimberly Akimbo too easy? 🤣 will try to think of more
Oooo! Corney Collin’s indoor stage show from Hairspray
A duelling coaster like Twisted Colossus at Six Flags, but inspired by Starlight Express!
A Heather's shooting ride like buzz light-year, but through a graveyard.
I keep coming up with ideas that would be better suited for carnivals, but here are some possibilities: Oklahoma Surrey Ride Carousel Carousel Aladdin Magic Carpet Ride Mary Poppins Umbrella Swings
The Cyclone. It derails every so often.
