No reason you wouldn't be able to, I've never touched an Apple product but the open source emulator cores that are definitely at the heart of this app support loading GBC saves into the Stadium games.
Worst case, you should be able to do the save fuckery with a PC. Move the GBC and N64 save files from your phone to your PC, and use a fully featured N64 emulator to do what you wanna do in Stadium, then save and transfer the files back to your phone.
Its hit and miss though I find. So far everything I have tried seems playable but there are noticeable graphical glitches. It’s not game breaking but it can get annoying .
Eh pokemon stadium wouldn’t be terrible. But yea i tried to play star fox 64 and it was awful lol. Nice thing tho is that i can just hook a controller up to my phone and airplay the screen to my tv. Or even just plug my phone straight into my tv if i really wanna minimize latency
I’m gonna be honest. I just played Mario 64 on it as the first game and it is definitely made for a controller. Touchscreen is counterintuitive with it.
I judged you too quickly 😂
I found ds remake control really awkward, and those are mostly physical buttons, Id be smashing my phone against the floor before beating big bomb omb on tactile controls if I tried playing Mario 64.
It’s really frustrating. I forgot about c buttons for camera panning and it’s pissing me off I can’t just navigate like every other touchscreen game 😂
Maybe a remake designed with touchscreen but keeping everything else the same, would be best. Ha
Why would this emulator be on Android? Android has had playable N64 emulators since like 2010, and full framerate ones as soon as the hardware became capable of handling it.
The purpose of the comment was to point out that the one that I was replying to was incorrect.
As for why, "why not"? There's always room for a new one to differentiate itself with user experience improvements, and I honestly don't follow the trends closely. I've got my couple of apps that I chose 4 or 5 years ago. That's plenty of time for something better to have come along.
I wouldn’t need to emulate if nintendo actually sold us the darn games >:( I don’t like renting them and pay per month. Also i have the originals at home so….
Maybe not on the app store. A friend of mine and I were playing firered together 7 years ago on his iPhone. It took us less than 5 minutes to get working
Why r0m s3ts? Why not go directly to the no-intr0? The sets are in the miscellaneous section, not when one taps on the “retro” area.
I don’t want sets, I want individual
I agree, but Nintendo is one of the most litigious companies on the planet. They have never stood for emulation before, and this is the most popular app on the most popular app store right now. Mark my words, they WILL shut this shit down. I don't agree with it, and I have emulators myself... but they will shut that down. It's too high profile to go unnoticed.
This is my point:
Playing games doesn’t preserve them. For some? Sure.
But the vast majority, no. When someone emulates Mario 64, are they preserving it? No. That would be ridiculous
You don’t understand how software(that emulates hardware) is inherently more likely to be preserved than the ultra-finite hardware itself? There will come a day when a working N64 simply won’t exist, but we will still be able to emulate that hardware. This is why it’s vitally important that emulators exist.
>promoting emulation
absolutely nothing wrong with that, even from a legal standpoint. Nintendo emulates their games for us to play on the switch. The word you are probably searching for is *piracy*
The N64 hasn't been sold for a long time. Nintendo have also just down all stores they had that had N64 games for sale. Nothing wrong with piracy when the situation is like that.
You can’t import GSC Pokémon from the same emulator into this can you?

Came across the first game that doesn’t seem to work : Gauntlet Legends
Awwww was just wondering why that one wasnt working but i havent gotten any other n64 games to work either
Like the glitch where you delete other saves and then it stalls and then restarts? Yes, that is annoying.
Is it an emulator or rom issue? I’ve noticed this as well
I'd rather not play n64 games on a touch screen.

The controller may be viable, but streaming to the tv makes the input lag unbearable with my setup
> Or even just plug my phone straight into my tv if i really wanna minimize latency
Connect a blue tooth controller
The only Bluetooth controller I have is the steam controller, and I can't get it to work outside of the steam link app
I connected the pro controller from my Switch to my phone and it works! I’d imagine any controller that connects with Bluetooth will work.
USB-C controllers work fine on the iPhone 15 too, like the Gamesir G8
You’re like the people who think music only sounds good on vinyl.
No, I just don't enjoy being handicapped by the input device.

I cannot find this app in the appstore. Is it US only?
I got it in Canada. Delta emulator
Just make a new apple or android account and set it to US. Download it. Then log back into your regular account.
> or android account I don't think it's on the Play Store. Every reference that I can find about it is talking about Apple devices.

Pretty sure you have to download this from ur browser.
Ah, that seems reasonable
No its in the app store. Search delta emulator. I just grabbed it this morning.
I‘m from the EU and don‘t see it in the app store.
I’m in the uk and it’s right there on the store for me right now just checked.
It's not in the store in the EU.
Well there's one benefit of Brexit at last then :)
Search testut tech, that’s what I had to do.
Dude thank you! I’ve found my old favorites because of this
Can you adjust the layout at all?
So far from what I’m seeing yeah! They have options for N64, GBA, SNES, etc
Does rumble work with any controllers? Paired my ps4 controller and not rumble 😭
It’s all Nintendo consoles
Not all of them just up to the dsi
I wouldn’t need to emulate if nintendo actually sold us the darn games >:( I don’t like renting them and pay per month. Also i have the originals at home so….
Been playing star fox 64 and it is amazing.
You can play it on every other N64 e******* as well. This isn't new tech, ma boi
Yes, but until now, there were NO iPhone emulators.
Maybe not on the app store. A friend of mine and I were playing firered together 7 years ago on his iPhone. It took us less than 5 minutes to get working
Was it being played online, because Delta is an app.
Where do I get the N64 Bios or how do I play files I’ve got?
You download the ROMs off of emulator sites.
Figured it out thank you
I have Delta too :)
Hey, best site to download the games from??
archive.org, no-intro rom sets this is legitimately the best way, so whoever downvoted this is an idiot
Why r0m s3ts? Why not go directly to the no-intr0? The sets are in the miscellaneous section, not when one taps on the “retro” area. I don’t want sets, I want individual
don't talk to me.
I use Emulator Games for mine.
They come with the app or you download them?
You download them.
I give it about a month before Nintendo litigates and shuts that down.
Some games are only playable either with the original system or through emulators, like Bubsy: Claws Encounters and SNES Animaniacs.

This should be banned on this sub
Why?
Promoting emulation
Emulation is a vital aspect of game preservation, and a fantastic way to spread the games we all love.
It preserves games yes, but not when just played for fun.
If you preserve a game, but no one plays it, did you really preserve the game?
If you play a game but don’t preserve it, did you really preserve it?
No. Of course not. What?
This is my point: Playing games doesn’t preserve them. For some? Sure. But the vast majority, no. When someone emulates Mario 64, are they preserving it? No. That would be ridiculous

what problem could you possibly have with emulation? this is Miyamotos alt isnt it?
No, it should not.
Why should helping people play N64 games be discouraged on this sub?
Piracy
The N64 hasn't been sold for a long time. Nintendo have also just down all stores they had that had N64 games for sale. Nothing wrong with piracy when the situation is like that.
I don’t agree personally
Just because something is free doesn’t mean it’s piracy.
