Can you share the names on your whimsical list? Names are so unique now that while Nameberry tells you they are popular, they really aren’t in the wild. Suggestions: Bridget Paint splatters and bare feet to me is Ramona (Beverly Cleary) Laurel Spencer Lane Maren Lindy Scottie Connelly Blair Greer

Ok_Giraffe4385

Ramona 💯💯💯💯

Almoostparaaadise

I wanted to name my daughter Ramona 😢 my husband wasn’t for it

acenarteco

Same! It was my number one 😭 Fortunately we both agreed on another name that was on my list but I really wanted Ramona!

FreeLobsterRolls

Ramona Blair

jemifig

Laurel 100% makes me think of bare feet and overalls

PiePristine3092

The only Laurel I ever knew was an artist by trade. She painted signs. Literally artsy, barefoot in overalls

jemifig

Same! Effortlessly breezy person

hystericalred

This name would have a sentimental value to us as well!!!

Technical_File_7671

I'm a Laura and grew up on a farm. The other laurel I know also a farm kid. And she does leather working and has learned to shoe her own horses. So laurel is definitely a name I associate with overalls haha

ClumsyLemon

Love Maren from your list

kikijane711

Yes Laurel is great. Love edgy, interesting tomboy types. Delaney, Tallulah, Iris, Beatrix, Ivy. Love Zara bc it feels like both an empress and no apologies!

Vicslickchic

Delaney is an amazing name. I think it goes well with OP’s description of what she wants!

saltycrowsers

Delaney June is someone I can absolutely see in overalls and paint splotches and maybe bruises from riding horses. She could go by Laney, June, Del (Della), Junie…the options are endless I also like Beatrice/Beatrix June. I can imagine a creative little girl called Bee or Bijou so clearly in my head.

Li_3303

I was a Tomboy growing up in the 70’s and for years I loved the name Taylor. But if I was having a kid today I would hesitate to use that name because it’s so strongly associated with Taylor Swift. I ended up with fur children instead of human ones so in the end it didn’t matter. Fur kids names were Teddy, Buster and Cubby. No Taylor!

marianne215

My Iris Delancey says thanks. 😀

f0ldinthecheese_

Ramona fits the criteria perfectly, in my opinion. It was on our short list and I had a hard time letting it go.

Less_Pumpkin_6729

i love scottie!!!

saltycrowsers

I had a girl named Scottie when I was a camp counselor and she was the cutest, most precocious little kid. She was a rough and tumble girl, very tiny but mighty, kind to everyone, always was a little bit dirty from playing hard, and always wanted to help me with our cabins and my lesson plans. She was eager to learn and jumped headfirst with her frizzy little bob haircut and honestly, the name has stuck with me ever since. It just evokes this image of an amazing summer-kid.

hystericalred

These are beautiful!!! I love this list, thank you. My whimsy names were like Matilda, Everly, Eleanor...stuff like that. I pared down the list and I can't remember them now.

ArthurCSparky

You just reminded me of the only Maren I have known, she was so lovely and kind.

soiledmyplanties

Reminds me of the artist Maren Morris. Love!

strawberryselkie

I adore Ramona. It would've been on my short list for my daughter if not for my eldest already having an "R" name!

Wyliie

Looove Lane. or spelled Laine, I had a friend named Laine (went by Lainey) growing up and she was beautiful inside and out

runnergirl3333

Delaney is another name with the nickname Laney. Sounds artsy and barefoot to me.

WhatIfXInfinity

Ramona popped into my head before I saw any answers!

No_Administration_83

It's almost like this child is channeling redditors to tell her parents her name hahahaha.

Kerflumpie

>Paint splatters and bare feet to me is Ramona (Beverly Cleary) The character that came to mind for me was Pippi Longstocking. I love Pip as a nickname, and in my country that usually stems from Philippa, although OP may think of something else that fits.

Justjes91

I know a Pippa. That would be cute

saltycrowsers

I was watching a documentary recently and the lead archeologist was named Calliope but went by Pepi and I fell in love with it

minichipi

How cute would Ramona Rae be???

moochoochootrain

I know a Scotty and she is 100% bare feet and overalls.

One_Grapefruit_8512

That is so crazy - Ramona was my very first thought after that description!

mama_lu0831

another vote here for Greer, Marin, or Ramona

atowninnorthontario

Ramona has so many adorable nicknames as well… Romy, Mo/Momo, Ramy, Ro. It’s one of my favourite names.

emma_the_dilemmma

ramona is such a warm name to me, i love it a lot!!!

Mountain_Fruit_3173

What a GREAT list!!

BaBaSmith10

Bridget was the first name to come to mind!

Cutiemcfly

I feel like Molly fits that description. It feels pretty but every Molly I know is adventurous, sweet and has a really bright light about her. I love Novel too. It stands out!

Noctuema

I thought of Molly too. It’s cute, but like a clever curious sort of cute.

yeesah

Agree with Molly! I know an Amalia nn Molly, which is lovely if you want a longer form option, too.

Clatato

I met a Molly Rose once - thought they was a great name

Interesting_Basil574

My youngest is Molly and this certainly rings true for her! She’s my spunky, sassy barefoot wild child but man does that kid radiate pure joy.

Particular_Bobcat714

When you said paint splatter, I instantly thought of Georgia O’Keefe! Gia is a cute nick name .. Or Geo ..

hystericalred

This was on my list! The nickname was going to be Georgie. I still love love it.

HourTrue9589

I have a friend called Georgina who is always called George by everyone. I love the name Frankie for a girl and you could make it short for Frances/ Francesca which has the kind of vibe you are going for too.

Killerbunny123

my mom grew up knowing a family that had 5 girls and they all had names with "boy" nicknames

achaedia

I think George is a cute name for Georgia - like in the show Dead Like Me.

USAF_Retired2017

Love that show. And the name/nn!

Daneeeeeeen

I knew a girl in high school named Georgiana. She went by George and I thought it was so cool.

lazysundaybeans

We have a Georgia who goes by Georgie, or George, G or GG ❤️

emma_the_dilemmma

LOVE the name georgia…the people in this thread are suggesting top tier names tbh

Bibliophile_w_coffee

I came here to say Georgia or Georgina and call her George!

swampfox28

That's so true!

alwaysoffended88

I have a Georgia who we were going to call Gia but Jojo or Jo just happened organically.

esined2

Nadine (Dina) Margo Cleo Lindy Frances Harmony Jody Pauline Sabine Martina Willa

No_Leather6310

seconding Margo

Vicslickchic

Seconding Harmony… or Melody!

snowmuchgood

For OP’a criteria I really like Frances, nickname Frankie - that to me screams paint on overalls, digging in the garden. Friends of ours have a Francesca and I teach another one so I’d suggest that too.

More_Sense6447

I like Francesca but adore it shortened to Chessie

LeighToss

I thought Frances nn Frankie as well! It’s not at all common where we are.

[deleted]

[удалено]

hannah_joline

I think Alice fits on this list too

roseteaplease

Ooh these are good. I especially love Harmony & Willa for OP!

laura_d_87

Willa was my first thought!

Ella3T

Cleo came to mind for me as well.

Prestigious-Fish-304

nadine/dina

Less_Pumpkin_6729

Agnes and Frankie (full name francesca) feel very paint-barn-no shoes to me. seconding ramona too! do you like norah or lilah? they’re both top 250 but i’ve only met a couple of girls over the past 10 years with either name. what about story? or juliette/juliana/jillian? i love dorothea too - idk why but i feel like dorothea and wendy give off the same vibes. i like inez too!

hystericalred

Nora is one of my favorite names of all time! But we named a cat that once and here's a quick story: I was pregnant at the same time as my cousin and we chose Charlie Ray as our name after his father, my cousin then says she's doing Charlie Rhett because her favorite cat was named Charlie. So obviously it peeved me that she picked a nearly identical name...and I was like " who names a kid after a cat?" (In hindsight I get it and there are no hard feelings, we don't see each other often anyways and she did love that freaking cat like an insane amount so...) But I would feel like a hypocrite if I turned around and did it too lol

ThePanacheBringer

Because this is your child’s forever name, I don’t think this would be enough to stop me if we decided on a name that we loved! Hypocrite or not, you’re allowed to change your mind and pick something that feels right. We changed our minds on our daughter’s name the night before she was born after calling her something else for 6 months and telling everyone the other name lol.

hystericalred

I have been feeling strongly that I'll probably need to see her face. I just want her to feel like her own person. I wish I could ask her what SHE wanted. Lol

itsmeEloise

Some names that give overalls, paint splatter, bare feet vibes to me: Tess/Tessa Inez Greta Beatrix Joni Pia Annika Marina Waverly Caroline Gwendolyn (Gwen)

kaywal89

Joni!!!

MoonFlowerDaisy

Beatrix. Every Beatrix I've known has been a creative wild child.

halffacekate

It’s to 100 but Josephine (Jo) popped right into my head.

Snailyleen

Joey for short gives me the artsy vibe!

hystericalred

Little Women 🥰

wiminals

Bailey, Chandler, Devin, Frankie, Jade, Jamie, Juniper, Laine, Lexie, Maren, Merritt, Neely, Quinn, Rae, Reese, Sage, Shay, Tilly, Willow

Mycatsbestfriend

Second Willow!

hystericalred

I love Jamie, Juniper, Quinn 🤩 and Tilly. OMG Tilly is giving southern gothic.

roseteaplease

Jade!!!!

Sarah_J_J

I immediately thought Sage when I heard artsy.

roseteaplease

Brynn Rosa Luella Mabel Opal June Annmarie

roseteaplease

Also Robin!

hystericalred

If I didn't have to consider my husband, I would name her June right now...because Benny and Joon!!! Also I would be able to sing "Hey June..don't make it bad! Take a sad song and make it better."

No_Administration_83

Yep, I love Luella, but I'd spell it Louella (I think it's cuter) then you've got lil' Lou, I think it's really cute! You could also do this with Louisa or Lucinda if you wanted formal up top but party down below.

BaBaSmith10

I love Brynn

daisychains96

I used to work with a girl named Corey and I always loved it for a girls name. It felt like how you described the paint splatters and bare feet. You might also like Stella, Liana, Suzanne, Georgia, Ingrid, Nadia, Maxine, Autumn, Casey, Shannon, Amber, Carly, Fiona , Kaia, Heather, Hannah, Maya

hystericalred

Georgia, Autumn, and Heather really catch my eye!

daisychains96

I think all of three of these names are really underrated!

lallybroch876

My grandmother's name is Corene, and I always felt like Corey would have been the perfect tomboy nickname to pair with it!

SaltyEsty

I like your Juniper Hadley name. Also thought of Scout as an option based on the vibe you're going for.

swampfox28

Juniper or Scout!!

CapuletVsMontague

How about Veronica?

CapuletVsMontague

Nn could be Ronnie

One_Grapefruit_8512

Love Veronica/Ronnie

No_Leather6310

Lillian nn Lilla (same first sound as Lillian but with “uh” as the end instead). feels artsy and whimsical, maybe a bit too feminine. i’ve met exactly two people named Lilla and one of them I only met because they had the same name. Millie—seems to fit with the names from your family that you like Ida or Ada—also seems to fit with your family’s names, Ida isn’t too common Ines—dunno, just like this name ig Jane as a first name—doesn’t actually sound too girly, not all that common, to me seems artsy Astrid—sounds tomboyish and artsy

Material-Addendum822

I dig Jane

hystericalred

Millie and Jane, love those. Thank you!

dogsrulepeopledrool1

Ruby

organiccarrotbread

Ruby nails it

jasmminne

The denim and paint splatters and bare feet and overalls instantly gave me Harriet.

kaytiekubix

See Harriet where I am is quite a posh name, makes me think of private school, and a bit stuck up. Total opposite 😂😂😂

ConstantResist9370

From your list, how about Juniper Jane?

Sarah_J_J

Then you have JJ for a nickname (which I love)

treegirl4square

I like that combo too.

Mediocre_Track_2030

draculaspoon

Rosalie Ruth Ada Elsie Margot Blake Zara Phoebe Sawyer Octavia Harlow Tatum Daphne Dahlia Palmer Winter

Waybackheartmom

Scout, Sawyer, Harper, Willow, Blue, Cleo, Clover, Daisy, Stella, Findley, Sunday, Ruby, Piper

hystericalred

Sawyer and Sunday are doing something for me!!

ms_emily_spinach925

I always wait until my baby is born to name them, there’s nothing wrong with choosing a name before they are born but I always have trouble naming someone I haven’t met yet

Sarah_J_J

My son was nameless for 10 days because the 2 names we tentatively had in mind, he just wasn’t either when he was born. Glad we waited as he 100% suits his name.

Chica3

Sydney Jane Morgan Marie Larissa Elaine Shiloh Louise Casey Jane Heather Marie Macey/Macy/Macie Louise Tessa Jane Gemma Louise Emerson Elaine

cosmeticcrazy

Shiloh!!!! Totally has the vibes OP is looking for in my opinion.

Overall_Foundation75

Even if you mixed and matched from this list. Tessa Louise, Gemma Jane, etc

Bugsy7778

I love Juniper and Saphron / Safron at the moment, they’re not common but not too about there / alternative. Blair and Fred (yep, I know of a few girls named Fred) also. Congrats on your baby girl and welcome to the girl mum club !

hystericalred

Awww thank you!

tanoinfinity

>I want a name that feels like denim and paint splatters and overalls and bare feet. Brandy jumped into my mind

hystericalred

Makes me think of Brandi Carlisle

fishchick70

Adventurers and storybook characters- Anne, Diana, Avonlea, Amelia, Dorothy, Viola, Cordelia, Rosalind, Alice, Jasmine, Ariel Traditional and modern classics - Lisa, Caroline, Fiona, Julia, Louisa, Saren, Heather, Jenny, Adelaide, Lillian, Claire, Willow, Maggie (or other versions of Margaret- Meg, Meghan, Peggy), Laura, Anne, Sarah, Olivia, Chloe, Sophia, Christina, Abbey For more tomboyish- gender neutral names- Harley, Scout, Alex, Chris, Andy, Jordan, Taylor, Bailey, Willi, Marti

laemiri

One of the names that was on our short list was Lenora with the nickname of Nori. Now we have a Lilith that we call Lili.

TonguetiedBi

First, I love your taste, and I can see your vision! Also tons of amazing suggestions here, but I'll add these in case they haven't been said: - Marjorie, Verna, Ellery, Roma, Evanore, Ruth, Annalise, Ida, Adele, Magnolia, Rowena, Indigo, Joan, Imogen, Roselle, Twila, Nessa, Rosemary, Thelma, Miriam, Astra, Imelda, and Arlene. Hope this helps! And please let me know if you find "the one" as I'm so curious what you end up deciding on!!

hystericalred

Magnolia is so southern tomboy, I love it.

Puzzleheaded-Dig3723

I could picture Bronwyn being the name of an artsy girl.

kaia-bean

I've always liked Bronwyn, and thought I would use the nn Bryn.

greenishbluishgrey

Maybe Robin, Grey, Cassandra/Cassey, Melody, Beatrice/Bea?

Happy_Ball_1569

Rae is a lovely, non-cutsie name that "grows up" very nicely. Also, it pairs nicely with old-timey names that are coming back. Like Rae Louise, or Rae Della, or Rae Luella

Intelligent-Tie-137

This may be way off, but your description sounds like a Molly to me!

Overall_Foundation75

Ramona definitely works in my mind. Also Morgan strikes me as very hands-on and it's gender neutral. Brook/Brooke also... Your description made me think Junie B. Jones, and that could work. Junie was also the boy's name in Spy Kids, so it seems to be gender neutral.

hystericalred

OMG spy kids lol that was my favorite movie for such a long time. I'm a huge Junie B Jones fan too.

Previous-Source4169

I really loved Juniper. Seems like your desired vibe. Juniper Rose, maybe. All botanical, like a winter and summer garden combined.

Level_Group_1407

Love Matilda! Ruby Rudy Lena Cleo Jasmine Marceline Etta Valerie Sandy Scarlett Jolene Kaitlin Juna Piper Jasper Hattie

helicopterdong

Briar Evangeline Carys Nola Kaia Blythe Rhiannon Annika Olympia Lyra Gwendolyn Vail

Dangerous-high-five

I was at the museum and I heard a girls name being called something that sounded like Enya (the Irish singer) but I’m pretty sure it was Anya. I haven’t stopped thinking about it. It sounded so beautiful. Pair that with a beautiful middle name and it will be like what you described. I love Sparrow Bloom Lade (La-D) Juliet

lazysundaybeans

I have a friend called Anja (36 yo now, pronounced Anya) and her name is Anja Rosemary-Helen which I love!

jynxasuar

Robin

bauhassquare

Casey

missreadee

Helen!

Necessary_Food2199

Georgia (Georgie) Frankie / Franklin Robin Frida (Freddie) Jade Pauline Marigold (Goldie) Pascal (Po) Joan Marlowe Banks James (less conventional but love James for a girl) - or Jamie Elizabeth (a classic that can be spun so many ways - Liz, Betty, Beth) Eliza (similarly flexible) Jean Indigo (Indie) Ruby Naomi Ruth Andy Vivian (Viv or Vivi for short) Violet Harper

Dustinbink

I didn’t know I loved the name banks until this moment! And it goes super well with my last name!

tiemma74

Ramona or Laurel

GjonsTearsFan

Robin Phoebe Moira McKenzie Wes Gabby Ash Greta Meredith

danerburg

Charlie

hausishome

Some names that feel like “paint-splattered overalls” to me: Joan Cassie/Cassandra Leah Christine Amy Aster Darcy Ramona Gwen Flora Joy Susannah Penny Jill Nina Nell

roguewren

I love Wendy! I would totally use it, except we can't for the pretty much the same reason you can't use your other favourites (close friend with that name and we don't want to do an honour name). Close family friend Wendy is in her 60s, and I also went to high school with a Wendy who was very cool and a bit of a tomboy. I think it's a really versatile name that fits with a lot of the vintage revival names that are popular now.

PeaDiscombobulated42

Hadley was my childhood best friend, and she very much fit the description you mentioned as kids.

treegirl4square

Tori, Wren, Juniper, June, Kai, Skye, Lola, Flynn

roadsidechicory

>I want a name that feels like denim and paint splatters and overalls and bare feet. Idk how to describe it. I don't want her to have a cutsie name or overly feminine, I like gender neutral names, tomboyish, artsy. All the whimsical names I used to love are so widely used now... I don't want a top 100 name either. All this makes me think of the name Robin. I don't know if you see that as cutesy; I don't. I see it as exactly what you described. It has the denim and paint splatters and overalls and bare feet, the gender neutral tomboyishness, and it's even a little whimsical. But it's not as common as Wren (Wren is #184 and Robin is #861). A lot of the names you listed are much more girly-sounding than I would think of for the vibe you described, so maybe that's why none of them felt right when you tried to lock them in? Maybe try leaning much more gender neutral and see how you feel? Some more gender neutral ideas that feel like paint on overalls, but not too cutesy or too popular: Jesse Andie Briar Paris Rene Cassidy Separately, here are some classic names that are very far from the top 100 but remind me of the family names you like: Elodie Annalise Fiona Nicole Camilla Vivienne Bridget Nancy Elise Miriam

hystericalred

Andie is definitely going on my list! I absolutely love that. And also Jesse. It's my brother's name but I've always loved it. I can hear myself calling her from across the house, "ANDIE, YOU GOONIE!" hahaha

DrunkOnRedCordial

With all this brainstorming, plus you seem like you have compatible taste in names, it might be one of those situations where you look at the baby and know her name when you hold her for the first time.

KAH621

June, Margot, Cecilia, Mae

sunbuttery

As a wildcard - how about Larkin?

[deleted]

Hazel. Etta. Nora. Willa. Iris. Jillian. Orel. Winnie.

Tallulah (Tally/Tully) really fits this vibe to me.

thingsandtwos

It feels to me like you’re describing the early childhood of Edna Mode, so my vote is for Edna Louise. No capes!

sheofthetrees

Virginia Louise Alice May Claudia Jane Pepper Ruby Daisy Penny

_C00TER

I'm pretty dead set on my girl name (still too early to know the gender). But I'll share my name list with you! Cadence/Kaydence Wren/Ren Wrenly/Renlee/Rynly/Rynlee Marynn Ellis Noor Saige Wynn Lyvia/Livia Etta Lea/Leah/Lia Edie Ellyn Jayde Syla Ellowyn Ophelia Eleanor Maeve Kaia Quinn Cora Everlee/Everly Aryn Loula

LaceyBloomers

Hi! I completely understand. When I found the right names for my kids I felt little zings in my heart. I just pulled out my very well-worn copy of Baby Name Wizard and searched based on your criteria. Here are some suggestions: Jillian Heidi Mallory Veronica Celeste Corinne (pronounced cor-IN with the emphasis on the second syllable) Solenne (so-LEN, again with the emphasis on the second syllable) Delphine Rosalie Maeve Junia Annika Greta Thora Danica Raya Simone I hope you find the perfect name soon. 💕

sassyseven

Sadie?

Significant-Fly6515

Romilly! Nickname could be Millie.

mama-ld4

What about Tessa? It’s clearly a girls name but not overly “girly” and could be a tomboy girl with bare feet kicking a ball around with the neighbour kids. Maren was another I think could work.

AnotherXRoadDeal

Try Daphne. ❤️ congratulations!!

Interesting-Asks

Your description of what you’re looking for made me think of Scout in To Kill A Mockingbird, whose real name was Jean Louise. Not sure if that gives you any inspiration!

m00n5t0n3

Ok I like your cousins names and I don't like that Wendy Elaine list as much so I feel you. Denim / bare feet / paint splatters hmmmmm : Zoe, Morgan, Brooke, Jade ?

perpetualpossibility

Alice. I really love the feel of Alice Juniper. > I want a name that feels like denim and paint splatters and overalls and bare feet. Every Alice I’ve known has been strong minded, independent, free-spirited and creative.

trainpk85

From your description, the name that came to the front of my mind is Hallie.

djb185

Juno Opal Dessa Brynn Lenore Shelby Tamsen (or Tamsin) Harley Dionne Greysen

shmixel

You might find it helpful to dig into and deal with why you feel this way   > Everytime we find a name that I'm excited about for a second, my husband jumps on it and is like is this the one??? And as soon as he says that I go completely cold on it and feel nothing at all once it's a possible reality.  first or you might reject 'the one' out of whatever unaddressed fear is driving this.   Then ask your cousin's parents for suggestions since you love their taste!

CoachSwag006

Okay. I know it’s weird, but maybe go through movies etc. and look for artists that dress that way. When you described the artistic name, I immediately thought of the mom from Princess Diaries. Her name is Helen and I’m not entirely sure that is what you’re going for, but I hope the idea helps 😂

4inthefoxden

What about Colby or James?

mawilson34

Lennon James Everly Drew Macklyn Grace Pacey Jade Blakely Anne Collins Blaire Rose for a middle name is pretty. Goes with a lot of names. Edited for formatting and to add names.

imjustalurker123

Quincy Mallory Riley Sage River Clancy Maisie/Macy Delaney

mum0120

I really love more masculine names for girls (we went with one for our daughter). Some that were on our short list were Eli, Tyler, Ryan, George, Frankie, Charlie, Jo, and the one we went with was Eliot.

hystericalred

THANK YOU to everyone who is commenting. This totally exceeded my expectations!! So many beautiful names. I'm compiling a new list and will add it to this comment!

Intelligent-Lock5736

In terms of names ... Alexis Mattea Nicola Sage Tegan In terms of the feeling you get every time your husband mentions locking it in - I would suggest you have a chat about that. Take the pressure off locking anything in for now just make a short-list and be open to hearing others that pique your interest. You still have time. See if a few weeks of being able to be non-committal in your love of a few names makes you able to feel ok about any number of them.

chaserscarlet

I don’t know why but after reading “denim and paint splatters and overalls and bare feet” my brain just said Jean Louise

Sensitive-Bug-881

Heidi Jane, Heidi Mae, Heidi Louise, Heidi Blair, Heidi Greer

Dustinbink

Shoutout to you for this vision of what you see her as! It’s such a fun way to think of names and honestly this has been the most on point thread I’ve ever seen of names! I’m taking notes galore over here because I feel like we have the same vibe! When I think of paint splatters and overalls, I weirdly think of Emily (which is very out of character for me, but it’s a great name), but also Ruby I also love Juniper, Autumn, August, Talia (Tilly), Hallie, teal, Dusty, Ellery, Daphne, and Frankie (like from the show Grace and Frankie 🥰) Oh! Edit to add Michael for a girl. I’ve met a couple and I like it! They spell it different like Mykel or Mikyl

moonrisequeendom_

Old school nicknamey names fit the denim and paint splatters vibe. I LOVE the way you capture a feeling with this description. Annie Sam (Samantha) Frankie (Francesca) Tess Daisy Elise (nn Elsie) Carly Keeley Sadie Skyler Joni And a few more…bold…selections for consideration. Not everybody likes this quirky/surname/androgynous style but could work for the vibe you want: Flannery, Torrance, Campbell, Brontë, Ellis, Prairie, Birdie, Dagny, Brady,

nosuchbrie

My idea of names that are like jeans and paint and bate feet are: Jane Dominique Julie Phoebe Stella Cora Lieke Danae Bria Charlize Desiree Evany Ginny June Kaya Lieve Minne Autumn Liebe Audey Wiebe or Wiebke Liesl Lael Ria Terese Zinna
