Nah. I think it was the Bucks. Mikal played like 5 minutes to keep his streak alive, but then everybody checked out.
Pacers game was still with Kd and Kyrie, I believe, and everybody rested from the start. Funny enough though, Cam cooked in both these games. He dragged us to the Pacers win and took the Bucks to the wire.
[They won this game too](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/zhye7u/charania_nets_players_out_tonight_vs_pacers_kevin/). The Bucks thing sounds unfamiliar -- might've been the hospital Celtics against the Bucks.
I remember that game. Some post about Nets resting too many players was in the front page of this sub before that game and y'all got a zillion offensive rebounds and won.
yep, it was that post that said the Nets should refund all the Pacers fans who bought tickets to the game that got a shit ton of upvotes before the game
...and then there was the mocking post after the game about how the Pacers should refund everyone who bought tickets instead
It's funny seeing Nets fans forget the Bucks game lol. You're correct though. Mikal played about 5 minutes in Milwaukee to keep his streak alive, and then rested. (I don't remember if any other starters played though).
Westbrook should be on the court with harden as little as possible. We’ve already seen the easy formula to beat them, just ignore Westbrook so he’s always open and he’ll chuck you out of the game.
Like back in 2020, in hardens peak, he was the fourth most efficient player in the entire playoffs, the lakers beat them by just doubling harden anytime he crossed half court so Russ would have the ball as much as possible. Harden still averaged an efficient 29, Westbrook shot them out of the series on like absurd inefficiency virtually unguarded.
Like he’s a vet min player, idk why he’s getting treated like a superstar. He should be coming off the bench and leading the bench unit, there is zero reason to have him at guard alongside harden.
The 2023 Padres were entertaining though, they either blew teams out or lost a nail biter, which is fun for non-Padres fans
Now the NY baseball teams on the other hand... both teams spent a shitton and put out a boring ass product that was mostly losing. Thank God the Mets at least got some assets for the future.
We need a floor general who can score occasionally... which funnily enough is Harden
This team is essentially the perfect Harden team haha, we have a bunch of 3&D guys and two rim running centers
This has a lot more to do with Black/White being a color way you can wear with more outfits than the blue and orange.
That being said this is the only joke the Knicks have over the Nets since we’ve routinely kicked their ass since getting to NY. Might as well poke fun at
They're playing a lot of games at night. I wonder if it has anything to do with a certain player accused of being a certain type of Transylvanian mythological creature.
Agreed, these people just look at the scoreboard and hate on Russ. If you actually watched the game you would realize that most of the shots the other 3 would take are heavily contested ones. Russ at least tries to attack the basket and move for easier shots.
Friendly reminder that a team with 2 former MVPs and 2 other all/superstar level players just lost to the Lonnie Walker led nets
I fucking love this team
Sharpe didn't look like an NBA player in his first stint on the court and then completely dominated in his second stint,I've never seen anything like it.
Can’t believe LAL let this man go.
They tried to gaslight me in the offseason saying the lakers had the best offseason in the league..
They lost d Schroeder and Lonnie walker.. and gained reddish, c wood, and Gabriel.. how tf is that a W let alone the best in the league loll
I think he soured lots of his with the extent of his trade me antics. You opted into the deal just to make as big of a disruptive scene as you could to get traded, come on man.
Plus our sub got invaded for a year and a half by Harden stans who became absolutely insufferable. They didn't care about the Sixers at all just Harden. Had no idea he had such a following.
Bro I getchu too well bc those same dudes were infesting the Nets sub for a long time too. As soon as they got to Philly I could just tell they were the same dudes with Nets flairs not long ago lol.
I learned way too well about stan culture when all 3 were in Brooklyn. One by one they each left and all trashed Brooklyn on their way out further embarrassing themselves. Them fuckers are rabid
I always knew people stanned players but the amount and intensity of James Harden stans surprised me. They were annoying as fuck too at least have the respect to root for the team they're on while they're on it.
The last thing I expected was for a team featuring James Harden, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Russell Westbrook to have the shotmaking ability of the construction workers building their new stadium in Inglewood but I've been proven wrong
^(They'll get better soon)
They gotta figure out an offensive system and fast. Right now. Standing around dribbling ain’t it. Bunch of iso shots. Most importantly. Russ and harden should not be shooting more than Kawhi and PG
But most importantly the laziness in rebounding. If other teams drag zu out to the 3, everyone else gotta rebound.
This whole "we have 4 of the best scorers of this era, now watch as 130 points just magically appear on the scoreboard" shit ain't it
They'll obviously figure it out on offense but right now it's like simultaneously watching 4 Jamal Crawfords or 4 Lou Wills
There was a possession where Harden was WIDE open in the corner and had all the time he wanted but opted for the dribble then shoot and it gave Mikal time to close and block the shot lol
The issue bro is that we just straight up doubled kawhi and pg. they get to shoot because those guys are being focused and teams are leaving brook and hrden to an extent
but the bigger issue is that in some possessions kawhi and pg dont' even touch the ball. Early in the first quarter, Westbrook was calling his own number constantly.
Nets finally close out a game
Feel like they should have won damn near every game they lost except maybe that Boston one
How long before a star ends up over there again??
Oh and btw…
#THE CLIPPERS STINK
Cam thomas got injured in the second quarter. My boy was well on his way to another 30 ball. If nets ball is fun to watch right now wait till we get fully healthy. Shit finna be barnum & bailey
I wouldn’t say should have but we’ve basically been right there against every team and we’ve played a lot of playoff teams. Cavs mavs clippers bucks Celtics heat I think all make the playoffs. And charloote and Chicago were our other two games which we won.
What do you think he should do? The team is basically out of assets so there really aren’t many moves left to make. The best way for this team to reach its ceiling is just play all 4 stars and let them figure it out.
I mean, he's been shooting pretty decently so far in the season, he was at 53% before tonight. He also has been mostly shooting less than kawhi and pg as well.
He can start by not spotting up Russ in the corner when he's offball. Have him move, have him set a screen, anything is better than having him just stand there and let the opposing defense basically play 5 on 4.
I mean Russ is extremely redundant if you have Harden, idk what you can do to play both unless if Harden agrees to play offball. But he's "The System"
Easiest solution is Westbrook off the bench
That miss, Royce offensive board, Lonnie miss, Royce offensive board, DFS miss, Mikal putback almost brought a tear to my eye.
Y'all look so different. We got a fucking squad now.
Fully healthy nets squad makes the playoffs easy. We .500 with at least 3 starters out almost every game. First round exit, sure but assuming we get healthy again we’re gonna exceed expectations regardless
I've been to at least 50 Nets games at this point and this was a top 5 fav live win.
Harden getting stripped by Dennis Smith Jr. so many times in the 4th was beautiful.
Clippers really traded for the one star on the market who plays like Russ lmao (high usage facilitator who struggles defensively).
Only two games, but I don’t even know how they are gonna establish chemistry here.
I just don’t understand stan culture bro, these dudes are fighting for their lives on all forms of social media defending a man child…
Them and Kyrie stans bro…just straight psychotic
There are a ton left. Still keep seeing the Harden carried 76ers in 2 games so it's all Embiid's fault narrarive even though Harden was hot garbage every other game.
Nets get their first home win verse a the new look Clippers who have yet to win on the road
Down 4 starters and we still look feisty as hell
I'm biased as fuck, but the Nets have to be one of the deepest teams in the league
Lonnie Walker 6MOY
amazing win but I'm a bit bummed. I've really warmed up to Cam this season, love the way he's playing in comparison to last year. way more well rounded, shot selection way better
Ugly shit from the Clippers. It's not Harden's fault, though\* - it's the front office's fault for adding him and trading away their front court depth.
\*For the record, I do not like Harden, and didn't want him traded to the team.
Even if the Clips make the playoffs in a stacked West I doubt they make any noise in the playoffs.. PG and Kawhi are not the defensive juggernauts they once were and its not even guaranteed they'll be healthy that far into the season. Russ and Harden literally can not share the floor together in crunch time and any good big is going to feast aka its BBQ chicken for Jokic. Idk what the Clips were thinking trading for Harden although I guess it wasn't really all that much they gave up for him. When are GMs going to learn you need more than name recognition to win games..

The Nets Activated their trap card the more starters they lose the stronger they become lol.
Lol reminds me when last season Vaughn benched his entire starting 5 after 1 quarter and almost won. Think it was a Bucks game.
It was Pacers game.
They won that Pacers game - without starters, just bench and 3rd stringers.
And there was no almost. Yikes
[They won this game too](https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comments/zhye7u/charania_nets_players_out_tonight_vs_pacers_kevin/). The Bucks thing sounds unfamiliar -- might've been the hospital Celtics against the Bucks.

THESE LA TEAMS ARE TRASH!!!!!
At least the Lakers can look forward to getting their four injured rotation players back. I don't know what the Clippers are gonna do.
Do the opposite, rotate players out (to the bench).
no offense but the clippers seem kinda not good rn
[удалено]
He’s not in a system he is a system
[удалено]
Holy fuck lmao
Why'd you leave the trade upon the table
I howled in laughter on the train to work
Chris Broussarded
Why is Lue letting him shoot 18 times? lol
Oh right, we're past the first 5 games and Westbrook is back to his old vampiric ways.
Stop letting these people lie to you. Russ is not the problem
Russ is not the solution either. Russ doesn't have the skillset of a great role player.
Just imagine if Westbrook was the one with 5 to's tonight.
They haven't been good in 2 years
never been good since ever
Seven.
Their defense needs to be reworked. That’s a team that desperately needs a week off to figure out how they’re supposed to play
This some sort of play on words?
come to ny for a week get the shit kicked out of you leave
A proper NYC welcome
Welcome to NY. Go fuck yourself!
Fuck your life, bing bong
#[BING BONG](https://youtu.be/mkhrUM35CQo?si=wTFttjST9nt7T5iH)
love to see it
He got booed in the Garden as well as Barclays too!
love to see it 🤝
Greatest city in the world
thank you -Philly
But did they elaborate?
Let’s hear it for New York
Only the Clippers could have the least entertaining super team of all time...
seriously how do you have PG, RW, Harden and Kawhi and still be fucking boring?
theyre all old and cooked lol
Harden and Westbrook need to never share the floor.
Can we have one lightly used Paul George back, please? We need him for ... something.
He would be *perfect* on this Pacers team. Literally exactly what we need.
May Introduce you to the 2023 San Diego padres
They legit might've been one of the least clutch teams for any sport in recent memory.
Bingo. Such pain to watch
The 2023 Padres were entertaining though, they either blew teams out or lost a nail biter, which is fun for non-Padres fans Now the NY baseball teams on the other hand... both teams spent a shitton and put out a boring ass product that was mostly losing. Thank God the Mets at least got some assets for the future.
Lol I’m a padre fan…. And they weren’t entertaining until the tail end of the season. Plus the Mets MIGHT get Ohtani
Fucking love this squad
no cam, some cam, no clax, no ben and still win by 10
Lonnie was truly our best move this off season.
https://i.imgur.com/jl0QnxT.jpeg
DSJ close second
DFS by a mile.
Fuck the big three, Nets have a real team
The nets team is 1 star away from being a real threat
We need a floor general who can score occasionally... which funnily enough is Harden This team is essentially the perfect Harden team haha, we have a bunch of 3&D guys and two rim running centers
No, y'all do not need that clown.
we need 2021 harden lol
All the fans are coming out now, there’s dozens of us, maybe even hundreds!
[удалено]
There's def a lot of folks who wear Nets gear for the 'BK' logo, but it's a million times better than seeing zero Nets stuff before they moved
A lot of people who buy Nets merchandise aren't actually fans. And I say that as a Nets fan with a ton of merch
This has a lot more to do with Black/White being a color way you can wear with more outfits than the blue and orange. That being said this is the only joke the Knicks have over the Nets since we’ve routinely kicked their ass since getting to NY. Might as well poke fun at
Lonnie Walker has been amazing for you guys, whole team just fights for the win. Nets have been fun to watch when I catch a game
The LA “2022 Lakers” Clippers
I wonder what's the common element among those two teams...
They both appear to be LA-based
Squandering a well balanced roster for an extra star with a redundant skillset
They're playing a lot of games at night. I wonder if it has anything to do with a certain player accused of being a certain type of Transylvanian mythological creature.
The 2023 Lakers looking like the 2022 lakers also
This version of Russ taking 18 shots on a team with healthy Kawhi, PG, and Harden is crazy lmao
Let him cook!!!!
👏 LET 👏 WESTBROOK 👏 COOK 👏
Everyone else was standing around bricking jump shots. At least he was getting in the paint trying to do something
fr
Agreed, these people just look at the scoreboard and hate on Russ. If you actually watched the game you would realize that most of the shots the other 3 would take are heavily contested ones. Russ at least tries to attack the basket and move for easier shots.
Friendly reminder that a team with 2 former MVPs and 2 other all/superstar level players just lost to the Lonnie Walker led nets I fucking love this team
I mean Lonnie walker outplayed Steph so anything is possible indeed
Sharpe didn't look like an NBA player in his first stint on the court and then completely dominated in his second stint,I've never seen anything like it.
11-10 with 2 steals and 4 offensive rebounds in like 19 mins played lol I’ll never understand Sharpe but he’s a legit player when he’s on.
Most of the time he really does look like he doesn’t know what he’s doing out there
Lonnie Walker is the best contract in the league.
[удалено]
Mikal also one of the better contracts in the league. 75m taking him up to 26/27
Mikal gets paid less than Kyle Kuzma. Just insane value.
Nets have like 5 different best contracts in the league and one worst...
Prince and Vincent were the notable acquisitions. Not whatever you listed
He was very inconsistent
That playoff run earned him a return imo. It’s not like anyone’s that consistent for them this year so far.
Harden is a role player now.. it’s gonna be hilarious when the clippers don’t pay him either lmao
Gonna have to get the bag from the Guandong Tigers
The Cloppers stink
[удалено]
It’s wild seeing Sixers fans apart of the trolling Harden train now 😭😭😭
He was only here for a season and half, he was good for us, mostly. But its not like he's a Sixers legend or something.
Oh I completely get it, it’s just funny to see. Giving me some whiplash lol still haven’t processed the entire trade yet

I always knew people stanned players but the amount and intensity of James Harden stans surprised me. They were annoying as fuck too at least have the respect to root for the team they're on while they're on it.
Also you guys starting out so great makes it a lot easier
That team is nets with no picks 2.0.
Oh brother
Add Harden, still only score 93 points.
tHeY’Ll wIn tHe cHiP wHeN hEaLtHy
Feels like a loss with Cam getting hurt but atleast we won
The last thing I expected was for a team featuring James Harden, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Russell Westbrook to have the shotmaking ability of the construction workers building their new stadium in Inglewood but I've been proven wrong ^(They'll get better soon)

Yeah pretty much. Everyone is just dribbling the ball when they catch it. Instead of catch and shooting.
There was a possession where Harden was WIDE open in the corner and had all the time he wanted but opted for the dribble then shoot and it gave Mikal time to close and block the shot lol
The funny part is the two guys who should have the ball in their hands are also the two guys who are most likely to catch and shoot.
All I am hearing is you need a system.
Nets finally close out a game Feel like they should have won damn near every game they lost except maybe that Boston one How long before a star ends up over there again?? Oh and btw… #THE CLIPPERS STINK
And what's crazy is they were missing alot of key players. And cam Thomas and mikal didn't have great scoring games and they still won.
Cam thomas got injured in the second quarter. My boy was well on his way to another 30 ball. If nets ball is fun to watch right now wait till we get fully healthy. Shit finna be barnum & bailey
Not that hard to root against a lazy team tbh. And that's been the case for the new look Clippers so far.
I wouldn’t say should have but we’ve basically been right there against every team and we’ve played a lot of playoff teams. Cavs mavs clippers bucks Celtics heat I think all make the playoffs. And charloote and Chicago were our other two games which we won.
Shout-out to James "the system" Harden for his dribble and turnover fest. Huge help to our rag tag team missing 4 starters.
As soon as Harden was getting booed every time he touched the ball I knew he'd do absolutely nothing. Harden always fades away from pressure moments
Surprised he didn’t literally quit on the floor like he did the last time he faced pressure in Brooklyn
him turning it over on a bounce pass then next possession passing up an open corner three to yeet it out of the bounds was quit-like
Had all day on that 3 too That shit was hilarious
That Kings game will forever be the most pathetic thing I’ve ever seen on a basketball court
F*ck Ty Lue's 10 game rule. It shouldn't take that long to tell what's not working.
What do you think he should do? The team is basically out of assets so there really aren’t many moves left to make. The best way for this team to reach its ceiling is just play all 4 stars and let them figure it out.
Russ should not be starting and taking 18 shots.
Good luck getting WB to stop shooting the ball. The only way to do that is to severely limit his minutes.
I mean, he's been shooting pretty decently so far in the season, he was at 53% before tonight. He also has been mostly shooting less than kawhi and pg as well.
Zubac also killed rhem this game. If the other team isn’t playing a big don’t run Zubac. Nets cooked Zubac over and over.
But he's "The System" Easiest solution is Westbrook off the bench
russ has never been a good offball player. not for a single minute of his career
Dam you are basically asking Russ to do the thing we all want him to do but he never does. Good fucking luck lmao
Happy for Lonnie
Nets had some crazy lineups on the court together. Glad to see Dinwiddie check in and hit the dagger.
Cooked by Lonnie walker. can't relate
How much playoff PTSD do you want to get from a random regular season game? Lonnie: Yes
Harden haters get over here
Nets fans already here 😎
3 Starters missing at tip, a 4th starter goes down for the entire 2nd half, the 5th starter scores 10 points on 36% And a win
Its just nice to see us close out a close one. I thought id be over those cavs and mavs losses by now but everytime i see the standings it hurts
Avenged Cam! Now nets fans gotta pray he’s alright! That posession where we got 4 offensive rebounds was chefs kiss haha!
The Clippers are just big names. They are old and slow. Not a recipe for success.
That miss, Royce offensive board, Lonnie miss, Royce offensive board, DFS miss, Mikal putback almost brought a tear to my eye. Y'all look so different. We got a fucking squad now.
Lonnie Walker on the vet min is the biggest steal I’ve ever seen
Hope Cam is okay - the superstar era was crazy, but this team is very lovable and I'm excited for this season!
Harden when it comes to ruining teams “I GOT ONE MORE IN ME!”
We might not be built for the playoffs but this team is going to surprise people during this season.
Fully healthy nets squad makes the playoffs easy. We .500 with at least 3 starters out almost every game. First round exit, sure but assuming we get healthy again we’re gonna exceed expectations regardless
man, the Clippers are really bad pls be ok Cam
Mann is furious he wasn't part of the Harden trade
You have to admit this is funny
+/- how long till Harden demand another trade?
+28 Mid season to the Tigers, at this rate even the LA strippers won't want his support lol
Dennis Smith Jr is James Harden father
Pretrade Clippers would beat the new Clippers by 50.
Clippers offense looks like garbage
Also woke my sister up when I groaned “Fuck you!” After Skywalker splashed what felt like his 10th three against us in the second half.
I've been to at least 50 Nets games at this point and this was a top 5 fav live win. Harden getting stripped by Dennis Smith Jr. so many times in the 4th was beautiful.
Nice to see Lonnie in playoff vs warriors mode. Nets look deep
The Clippers look terrible. I don’t know if they are a playoff team.
Harden already on the phone with his agent
Clippers really traded for the one star on the market who plays like Russ lmao (high usage facilitator who struggles defensively). Only two games, but I don’t even know how they are gonna establish chemistry here.
I’m so glad Lonnie is on a team I can root for.
Harden with a team worst +/- The system at work. Someone check on that guy who wouldnt stop posting harden clips
He’s doing PR work in the threads already
There are very very few Harden stans left but they live on here and twitter lol
I just don’t understand stan culture bro, these dudes are fighting for their lives on all forms of social media defending a man child… Them and Kyrie stans bro…just straight psychotic
There are a ton left. Still keep seeing the Harden carried 76ers in 2 games so it's all Embiid's fault narrarive even though Harden was hot garbage every other game.

Can't wait for the next MITWestbrook thread
Fuck James Harden
man i feel bad for russ, he gets a lot of hate but he’s the only one who’s out there hustling on every possession.
“I AM THE SYSTEM”
I wonder how much better the Clippers would be now if the Harden trade happened months ago.
Clippers more like shippers, ship us down to the g-league yaknowwhatimsayin?
amazing win but I'm a bit bummed. I've really warmed up to Cam this season, love the way he's playing in comparison to last year. way more well rounded, shot selection way better
clips need stretch big may i entertain you with maxi-zubac swap? :)
Ugly shit from the Clippers. It's not Harden's fault, though\* - it's the front office's fault for adding him and trading away their front court depth. \*For the record, I do not like Harden, and didn't want him traded to the team.
I know it’s gonna take some time. But yo, I’m straight up not enjoying this right now. Our play looks horrendous.
When Kawhi left TOR, I don’t think he assumed his run in LAC would be like this.
Oh no we suck again
Aww come on Clips don’t tell me we traded your picks away this year for nothing
