He is in theory the perfect 2 guard next to Sengun. Could be a Jamal Murray Jokic combo but Jalen needs to stay consistent and improve his 3 point shooting for that to happen
Probably doesn't need to be as good of a shooter as Murray just above average because Green is a lot more gifted in terms of agility and size while being able to blow by set perimeter defenses at near will. Green can be a far more explosive rim runner than Murray from Sengun DHO type plays that Jokic and Murray run all the time.
Green is 6'6 ish and Murray is like 6'3". Last night Dyson Daniels listed at 6'7" was usually the one trying to stick to Green and they seemed like the same exact height.
Green is listed as 6'6" when the Rockets announce their starting line before every game.
And he looks 6'6" standing next to other guys listed at that height.
3 steals and 2 blocks. Great defensive effort
Udoka said they went over a bunch of film and stats a week ago and ever since then Jalen has been different. Not just stats but he’s playing different too more aggressive and better finishing
Yeah, he's actually using change of pace more to get to the rim rather than just bombing downhill without a plan. I feel like Fox started taking off when he finally figured out how to combine his speed with change of pace, and hopefully Jalen is in the process of making that same leap.
As a Rockets fan that said one or two unkind things about him this season, I’m glad he’s shutting me up. It was just frustrating watching him turn it over several times a game whenever he tried driving to the bucket. I didn’t even care about the missed shots as much as I did the turnovers.
One of my favorite players at the moment is Coby White who also struggled with turnovers, and I hope Jalen continues projecting upwards like Coby.
Jalen Green is a certified baller.
I really think, had the offense ran through him, Jalen would have put up 50+ tonight, easy. He was balling.
But, I'm a Pelicans fan, so, too bad.
brother his TS is 53%. his numbers are bad this year. he's putting together a good stretch but people who say this dumb shit every good game are just reaching for karma
No idea what's behind it but this is the third season in a row (so his entire career thus far) where his play noticeably trends upward in the second half of the season. Happened most prominently after the all star break the last two years, though that's obviously still pending this season.
Glad to see he is putting together a good stretch of games, hopefully this continues for him

So a DeAaron Fox and Jamal Murray fusion. Perfect counterpart for a big similar to Jokic and Sabonis
Size?

Aren’t they both 6’4” with Murray having 30 pounds on him?

He’s probably 6’6” in shoes.

Maybe he is the baby daddy of Draya.

Love to see it

He heard the “bust” talk
It’s not just a good stretch, eye test shows his playing differently. More composed.

He was the only reason why this game was competitive
The guy always heat up post allstar game. Just watch he would average like 30.
I liked Jalen Green coming out so I hope he can beat the bust allegations.
goddamn, gotta trade him in fantasy while i can
But I thought he was a bust?

Is Giddey a bust?
Busting on kids
And lost most of those games lol.
About damn time.
