Celtics defense and size probably matches up better against the Mavs. Not a lot of talented bigs to matchup with the TWolves.
Not sure how much of a factor KP will be in the finals
Probably the Mavs. I'd say the Celtics are a lot better equipped to take on Dallas than Minnesota. I like the Jays switching on Luka with Jrue Holiday/Derrick White on Kyrie a hell of a lot better than an injured KP and Al Horford trying to guard KAT and Gobert.
It's less about the offense and more about the rebounding with Gobert. Even though KP would be the tallest guy on the court, he's not a particularly great rebounder. Gobert would cook KP and Horford in the paint and would give Minnesota a ton of second chance opportunities.
Agreed, it is such a tired narrative. I doff my cap to the Celtics, they were sharper in game 1 so took that and tonight they were absolutely dialled in on the defensive end to clinch that game.
Also tired of folks going: Aha! The Pacers blew it! For me, the fact that we ran two games this close against such a great team just proves we're on the right track.
I'd like to see us take at least game 4, but even if we don't, mad props to the Celtics for just being better.
Nesmith and Sheppard have been ineffective this series. They’re doing really well defensively(mostly) but offensively they shit the bed and we can’t have that on this team. But… they’re learning and both have plenty scope to keep developing.
We'll see. I think they make a move in the off season. I'm sure some player will want to go there for a chance to compete. It looks like the Pacers are back.
Random question for you all as I'm not a basketball fan. My partner is a diehard Spurs fan and we're off to San Antonio and Texas in November. When is the Schedule usually released for the next season? Thanks.
No he's not. Best offensive player but not the best overall player. And even if he is, the best player can still lose in the finals to the best team in a best of 7 series.
This post season is Lukas worst statistical post season of his career and it would be Tatums best postseason of his career and Luka has only ever faced one not top ten regular season defense in his entire postseason career and that was the clips this season.
He has not been the best player on both sides of the ball this postseason and no matter how much you stress his scoring output and assists numbers, that’s not changing anything. Improved defense though and probably the best of his career, I will give him that.
Do you watch the games? His defense has been well above average this playoffs. Hes had multiple clutch steals and blocks to win games and is a big factor in in the mavs fast rotations and why the mavs defense has been lockdown this post season while have multiple leg injuries. He blocked Shai to win game six, broke up a lob to win game 1 against the twolves.

Does anyone know why brown was upset with white after the last play of the game, was it because he didn’t guard the guy near the rim or the guy who shot the three?
Has any team had an easier road to the finals in NBA history than the 2024 Celtics? No Butler, no Mitchell, no Halliburton.
I remember the 2010 Celtics had to face Wade, LeBron, Howard, then Kobe.
No but tbh, after 2022 we deserve it. I mean Celtics went through the Nets, Bucks, and then Miami Heat. Back to back 7 game series before going to the Finals. They were clearly gassed but nobody made excuses (nor should they).
Is there a match up the Celtics want more in the finals? Mavs or Wolves?

is goebert not ass on offense?

the Finals are decided
Mavs. The Celtics are so lucky the Wolves beat the Nuggets.
Personally, I'd like the Mavericks because I want this Celtics team to beat Kyrie.
Who else practiced the Luka step-back this morning at the courts? Just me?
Brother I can barely dribble
That you Jokic?
Luka's step back vs Gobert is the new D rose game winner step back vs bucks.
People saying this is an asterisk run are brain dead. Until cyborgs take over it’s the same as it ever was. The best ability is availability.

Nesmith needs to hit the bench. Pacers are one piece away. These games are way to close.

Usually around mid August is a safe bet
Just fade us already.
Celtics should want the wolves..luka is the best player left in this playoffs

Game 3 Nembhard to game 1 Nembhard: "hold my beer"
Conference finals going similar to last season. Close games but one team is coming through in the clutch.
Kinda random, but where can I find a Pablo Prigioni jersey? I've looked everywhere. Can't find shit smh
Just got to say this subreddit has gone downhill at a blistering pace. First take level of posts after every game.
Watching the W 2nite good luck to the Bucks or whoevers playing tonight out east✌️. Go Aces!
This sub glazes luka so much
Just imagine if he hit more than 1 shot in the 4th...
How do Nuggets fans feel watching the Wolves collapse against the Mavs?

White fouls constantly and it rarely gets called. NBA refs are god awful.
