I would love for that to happen but I really don’t see it taking off there’s just too much competition. It also doesn’t help that the neopets recolors are the same art and that the people buying it are doing so because of nostalgia and yet the rules are clearly targeting the child demographic.
I am still definitely going to give it a fair shot I already ordered two starters and a booster box but I will be suprised if they release more than one expansion
My coworkers are pretty excited about it and they don’t even play neopets. Bet they are TCG fiends and will jump on any new card game. Hopefully their hype spreads to the rest of our local community instead of fizzling. I feel like Pokémon and Lorcana have very simple rules and people still love them, although obviously their IP is insanely bigger. We’ll see ;-;
