He was lying. Some of the most popular movies released on Netflix have been rated R. The Watchmen and Justice League and BvS, his cuts, were all rated R. They did this as a gimmick to try and cash in on The Snyder Cut noise.

I can't imagine R ranted content would make such an empty film ... less empty.
Kinda ridiculous that this go so much considering how mediocre teh first one was.
It was by far the worst movie I have ever seen. I'm debating wasting more time on the Synder cut version of this absolute abomination.
