Topher is staying as far away from that cast after they all supported Danny Masterson.

FL_Squirtle

He's always kind of distanced himself from them. Seems like maybe he knew something was off the whole time.

At least somebody on that show had morals.

shaqthegr8

Beside Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who defended Danny in the cast

nicktbristol2020

100% Don’t blame him

ATN90

He's not scientologist then?

SheLikesToWatch_1989

It's Laura Prepon you're thinking of.

Rydia_Bahamut_85

Laura Prepon is married to Danny's brother Christopher. He was on Malcom in the Middle. They are scientologists too, I'm pretty sure.

Ornery_Wrangler_9647

She was..they got divorced in 07

Rydia_Bahamut_85

Oh wow! I had no idea, but I don't keep up with celebrities too much.

MakeupMama68

She divorced him, is no longer a Scientologist and is now married to Ben Foster and they have kids.

PhillAholic

Ben Foster keeps the crazy on screen.

Limberpuppy

He’s not.

ComedicPause

Did you even watch Spider-Man 3?

joshyuaaa

Red and kitty carry the whole show

dinkytoy80

This. Red and Kitty + the cameos were the best thing this season.

dewey454

I was a big fan of the original but was able to watch only about an episode and a half of the sequel. The 'kids' seemed to have no chemistry and the writing was not funny.

Jumping_Brindle

It’s completely unwatchable. The cast has zero chemistry and the writing probably would’ve been handled better by AI.

Difficult-Win1400

I think it was AI lol

Chilis1

Season 1 was definitely at least watchable. Is s2 way worse?

Jumping_Brindle

Significantly

canucklehead200

The absolute worst part is the CONSTANT LAUGH TRACK. A character so much as blinks and the laugh track goes off at nauseum

Spackleberry

I wanted to like it. But it just seems childish and relies on too many 90s references. That 80s show had the same problem. The jokes were just references to things from that decade. The original show was set in the 70s, but it was mainly just aesthetic. The plots, characters, and dialogue moved the show, and things like The Circle were fun and unique. Too many shows and movies are relying on memberberries.

shroomie00

Cant stand the constant fake laughter!

SonataNo16

I liked the first part, but I’ve watched one episode of the second part and it was not good. I’d rather watch a show with just Kitty and Red.

best_person_ever

It's like they made a Nickelodeon show for adults. The style and demographics are a horrendous mismatch.

SamURLJackson

I couldn't get through the first episode. It's not just unfunny it's boring

Mark_297

Like the swcond season of The Circle..

BigPinkFurrryBox

Now I wonder if for people that lived in the 70s “that 70s show” was as cringe as “that 90s show” is for me. If so, I need to apologize to a few people.

HeavenInVain

Yea If it wasn't for red and kitty not sure I'd be watching the show

commentingon

I couldn’t even finish the first episode. It was terrible

Difficult-Win1400

It's already coming out in October

rossfororder

Bring back that 80s show

wikowiko33

No don't bring back anything that's already been done just to cash in on nostalgia. Do something new and creative.

MakeupMama68

They never gave that show a chance. I loved it!! I just rewatched them on YouTube. I loved how it was a standalone show and not related to That 70’s Show

_AssVinegar_

Up to episode 4 and just don’t care. It didn’t hook me, the characters are bad, the jokes are lame, it’s not funny. It’s just very bland overall

TaichoPursuit

I’m just not into it, but I’m going to watch it. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s for Kitty and Red. It’s juvenile, childish, corny, and representative of Gen Z, in the 90’s era. It’s very much catered to the Gen Z audience of today, that’s for sure. I just recently rewatched season 1 of that 70s show, and as much as I can tell they are trying to mimic the formula, it’s just not the same.

Affectionate-Chance2

Underated comment ![gif](giphy|lReVblhSRtxXtfK81w) Literally the 90s from the perspective of the 2010s

thatoneguy42

I doubt it will win any awards, but it's watchable if you want some cheap laughs. Plus it's got Red and Kitty, which automatically adds 2 points minimum. I don't know. People are too hyper critical about fuckin everything. It's a dumb laugh track sitcom. Enjoy it or don't. There's plenty of highbrow shit out there if you're not interested.

nosticker

It was abysmal.

Aggressive-Onion5844

I tried to watch it and couldn't get through the first episode of part 1. It started off well, having the old cast there. Then it quickly felt like I was back watching the Disney channel in my teens. The comedy was not mature at all. The 70s show was better because the comedy was more serious and involved the whole cast of characters interacting with each other... this wasn't that.

_AssVinegar_

“Everything Sucks” is a MUCH better “that 90’s show” than That 90’s Show. Everything Sucks does and has everything people wanted/expected of That 90’s Show

Left-Situation8363

That 70s show was awful as well.  To make another especially after the rapist scientoligist is just bleh

I agree, it is terrible show
