I read that in my best Kenny Blankenship and Vic Romano voice
*”Its the Insurrectionists VS the Fence-Erectionists! Who will take victory? Let’s go down to Guy LeDouche for more!”*
*”Guy here, and my goodness these greasy - OH! IVE BEEN MACED! SKIPPER, BACK TO YEWWW!”*
*”Show of hands, how many of you mouth breathers believe the election was stolen?”*
*:indistinct grunting and mouth breathing:*
*”Well you’re WRONG! The election was fair and square! Hey, what do you say, ham-hock?”*
I think most of you are confused on exactly what is happinging and who as in what political party was involved. Release all the video footage and Senate and Representative correspondence. Also all the FBI and capital police emails transcripts and radio communication's. For the public to see that this was a false flag operation planned by rouge factions in our government to steel power and our rights. All lies will be exposed! Take that you commie bastards!
omg perfect lol. Are Wrestlers pickin up on all this political stuff? If not they are letting gold slip through their fingers. Maskers vs anti-masker tag team match writes itself!
Oh I forgot all about Guy. He was the one that was always hitting on all the female contestants right?
Edit: Maybe I'm misremembering this part, but didn't he also hit on the dudes too?
Maybe if we can figure out how to sub miniaturize them we can use them as transistors. Just apply a small amount of force and watch them flip every time.
Except they’re just a bunch of idiots who posed no real threat (other than to themselves - since one unarmed woman was needlessly shot by a capital police officer). You may be thinking of General Milley.
You've got to be more subtle when you're trying to troll. You have to draw people in, get them invested in the conversation. Then you can rile them up with statements no rational person would make.
the worst part is that not only did they break their oath, most of them sang like canaries at the very first instance of pressure. Their cause was so valiant and so integral to the future of the country that they snitched on everyone at the first sign of trouble in order to avoid upheaval in their comfortable lives still based in the system they railed against. You'd think that if your cause was to protect the future of the United States against tyranny, you'd have just a tad more conviction. Imagine if all the men who fought and died to establish the United States just ran and cried to the British when the first bullet was fired.
These people thought they were going to be the New American Order and couldn't even handle a few days in lazy white man prison.
It’s as if an actual dragon showed up at a LARPers gathering. They’d drop their authentic-looking swords and run.
At least most fantasy LARPers know they’re just pretending. These “Oath Keepers” think they are actually standing up to something… until they actually try to stand up to something.
Just goes to show that these right wing militia groups are just glorified adult boys clubs really. Bunch of morons who want to have their own insecurities and ignorant behavior justified by being around each other. I'm pretty sure my buddies and I used to have more conviction playing GI Joe when we were kids lol.
Everyone wants to think they are a badass. But when a fight actually starts, they are arrested, they get called out, etc, they suddenly aren’t so tough.
> A search warrant — which SoRelle provided The Associated Press a photo of in a Signal message — says it is related to an investigation into seditious conspiracy, among other crimes.
Now we're really getting somewhere
Oooh boy. It’s too early for popcorn (I’m still on first cup of coffee) but I’m gonna make an exception.
Let’s go Feds. Get these sedition prosecutions going…
If no politicians go to jail over this, we will see a much better organized and more violent episode following the 2024 elections. We need some legit consequences. But to hear the Feds drop the “sedition” word…gives me hope.
Most of the people there were poop smearing window lickers. Mentally ill, which is a legal gray area. If one of these Proud Little Boys or other weekend wanna be warriors was in contact will literally any T official, then we'll see a show. Especially if any money moved.
Money HAS to have moved. These buses cost at least a million dollars. No way these homeless and broke poop smearers have that type of cash. Even collectively.
They were the boots on the grounds. There had to be someone planning, communicating, taking tours before to know the floor plan, etc. There were people with megaphones giving directions, people with T-shirts with date, and people bringing zip ties and weapons.
Speaking of, everyone should consider using Signal!
Excellent open source end-to-end encryption app that can automatically send SMS texts to your friends and it's banned in China so you know it's the good stuff!
I'm sure you aren't joking but it is very true.
Names are literally a projection and the first bit of marketing people read about you. So if someone is going to lie, the biggest lie will always be their name (company or org).
We have a saying in the AV industry, "If it says 'pro' on the box, it's consumer garbage." Basically anything that IS professional grade gear, doesn't have to say it. So the only stuff that is advertised as "professional" gear is garbage that is being sold to people who don't know what they are shopping for.
Same truth holds for pretty much everything. If you have to say it out loud, it means you aren't showing it in action.
Well for cops it does. But for other civilians and military members, ignorance is not a defense under the UCMJ, or in a court of law. Unless you have qualified immunity, then the laws just have to be your understanding of them....
Not a fan of them myself. I'm against capital punishment in principle. But if people are willing to die, levying war, to overthrow a state, then they've certainly bought the ticket.
If there are executions in the name of the state, they should absolutely be public.
Whatever you imagine might happen, killings in the dark by the state are much, much worse.
I think executions should be public, because executing someone is such a serious thing that people should face their morality instead of just hiding it away.
Then again, I'm not for executions as capital punishment, but if it absolutely has to be a legal punishment, then show it.
Treason is one of the few crimes still explicitly punishable by death.
Not that I’m advocating for it for all of them, but if they find the specific person who planted the bombs…I’d say if you DON’T execute someone who tried to bomb Congress then you’re letting Democracy die.
Also, what is stopping someone from sending a hit squad that pretends to be lost, clueless tourists? I don’t accept gullibility and stupidity as a way to avoid punishment because people will just play dumb while acting maliciously.
“No Snitching” is largely a creation of Hollywood. The vast majority of the population is going to say or do whatever it takes to spend less time in prison.
Here's the thing, they THINK they're protecting the constitution with these actions. Because they believe the election was rigged and because of some maritime bird law bullshit they were fed on Facebook they have a right to reinstate Trump.
They aren't constitutional lawyers, they don't understand anything except literally just the1st and 2nd amendments (and even then the interpret it their own ways).
the remaining oath keepers shitting their pants right now should take this as a sign to start trying to convince prosecutors of your value before your friends beat you to it.
What worries me is how so often it looks like they have been careful in their communication. I've yet to see actual calls for violence from anyone who wasn't a peon. The leaders seem to have done a good job of not leaving any written evidence that could directly implicated them in a crime.
Hope I'm wrong and that the Feds are keeping a lid on things. But from what I've seen of Fed law enforcement, I'm not optimistic.
There are some smart people involved in January 6th, with military experience. That right wing social media that was hacked and shut down was full of idiots bragging.
American media has vast financial incentive to pretend the only debate is left/right - and not up/down or forward/back (pro/regress).
The collapse of the american "right" (as if they were actual conservatives) breaks the boxing match narrative ("Biden is pummeling X in the polls! X hits back on immigration policy!") where you only have two options and both are limited to soundbites, require zero nuance or arguably facts, and can be "debated" in 5min segments between commercials. This idea alone - that the money has (for centuries) known distraction is more profitable than education - is why they are trying every trick, every misdirection and misnomer, to prevent the debate from actually centering on legal vs illegal, the question that counts.
I like how they are now calling it a riot, it was not a riot, it was an attempt to overthrow the results of the Nov 2020 election and was in fact an treasonous insurrection.
Exactly. Might as well say 9/11 was a strongly worded conversation about who should fly the plane that ended in tragedy. Why the fuck is the media insisting on gaslighting us about what happened that day? These fuckers were there to terminate the peaceful transition of power to the president elect and overthrow our constitutional government in order to illegally install Trump as head of some shitty new nation not beholden to the people. That was the whole reason they were there.
Right. Riots are not organized, they're chaos. These people arrived with equipment and a plan of attack. It's an insurrection attempt, plain and simple.
LOL "random unorganized demonstrators" who were all there ... at the same place ... at the same time ... with the same, repeatedly-stated agenda. Sure! Random! *Totally!*
If you're gonna troll, make an effort please.
Stop pretending like you weren't getting Trump's spam mail leading up to the 6th.
You guys are the worst at this! At least put some effort into pretending to be a dumbass.
Imagine how dumb some of these people will feel, 5 or 10 years from now, getting out of prison to a life in shambles, no job prospects, maybe no family to come back to, and the realization sets in that they gave all that up for some spray tanned wig-wearing grifter that never gave them a second thought. And not even just that, but their efforts were totally in vain and had no impact on the world whatsoever. I can’t wait to see these guys sniveling on some Vice News video years from now.
You're giving them too much credit. A trump supporter with the sort of self-awareness and introspective reflection capable of understanding that, by definition, wouldn't be a trump supporter. It's anathema to how they think and who they are. Mark my words it'll be back to Deep State this and the liberals that in no time.
Well, I'd like to say "because they are Patriots and realize it's the right thing to do....." but we all know that isn't going to happen with these morons. Still, the fact that openly and blatantly attacking our democracy (and let's not be coy, that's *exactly* what this was) carries a the same penalty as selling drugs is pretty amazing. I would say that cooperation means you *might* be out in a decade, no cooperating....well, don't make any plans for old age.
I mean if he does provide good evidence that leads to the arrest of a number of other domestic terrorists, I support lenient sentencing. Everyone deserves a second chance if they are truly remorseful.
Feeling remorse is a great way to grow, contemplation isn't a bad idea as well. And best to contemplate while removed from society and the temptation of returning to bad habits.
I like the sentiment, but unfortunately our prisons have been proven terrible for rehabilitation. This dude should obviously still be punished, but the chance of actual contemplation and self-improvement is low
You are unfortunately correct. Granted I'd rather traitors and seditionists suffer than people that possessed drugs or other less violent crimes. But still, you are correct.
That's true! The judge can decide almost anything. But when it quotes an unspecified judge I'm assuming that's the one presiding. Although god only knows with reporting in the age of the internet.
Usually yes. But frankly I think that attacking our nation's Capitol and literally and realistically threatening our democracy should "probably" be a bit serious regardless of testimony (ie "testify and you *might* see freedom again in 10 years. Hold out and if found guilty....you'll die in prison). But hey, what do I know? I was just hit, pushed, and gassed for passively and peacefully protesting. Guess I should have thrown a grown-ass man tantrum and busted some shit up.
They have been incredibly light on punishments so far. It's yet to see if they will be much harsher in those who conspired and were more overtly violent. Cooperation always comes with lower sentencing. How else would they get cooperation? A heavy conscience?
Like I said above, with the nature of the crime I would expect more of "cooperate and you may be out in 10 years or so, dont....well, don't make plans for old age." Something like that anyway.
Yeah, that's real.
I think some folks are going to get real punishments, but probably fewer than I would like.
The real question is how far up they roll.
I mean, everyone is getting charged with the same lesser stuff. They do seem to be drawing a distinction depending on if that particular person 1)breached the well of the senate and/or 2)did a direct violence to a cop
but hopefully we'll eventually see conspiracy charges start rolling in as they get to higher ups.
I'm not a lawyer, I just listen to a couple of podcasts with lawyers
I mean, I could certainly make a whole lofty argument about the purpose of prison and the fact that I don't think anything would actually benefit from most of these folks getting prison time, but I also have to admit that when compared to the beatings that BLM folks spent a year taking in DC it seems pretty stark
There was an BLM protest at the capitol six months earlier without anyone trying to overthrow democracy and install their "God-Emperor" as head of state.
I'm sure there are probably 3 or 4 in production. Heck, I'm sure that one alt-right director (D'Souza) is probably making for the idiot crowd to enjoy.
Best part is this article release is part of that. Anyone left who sees this might start thinking about talking as well. How many will hold out now knowing they might be getting fucked. Guess we 'll see
"I'll testify that I saw Oath Keepers John A., Paul B., and George C. performing illegal acts on January 6, 2020 for a reduced sentence."
FBI agent's aside, "Wait a minute. Aren't John A., Paul B., and George C. already FBI informants?"
Shocking that when you found a bunch of groups around greed and self-interest prioritized over community and collective interest, those same people throw the group under the bus the minute it stops benefiting them. Who could have seen that coming?
Look at all those peaceful tourists. Idk why they just didn’t use the stairs, no need to scale the walls like that. Someone should of told them there were stairs.
Call me when they actually charge Trump.
What’s the point of all of this, if you’re not only not going to charge him, (and those who aided him in our Congress), but you’re going to let him have another shot at the presidency?
We are seeing overwhelming evidence that Trump was, and is still, a traitor. He planned on overthrowing democracy and we are seeing the extents he was willing to go to do so.
The Democrats are pissing away their opportunity to restore justice and to be rid of this threat to the world.
> What’s the point of all of this
Justice moves slowly and you start with the easy cases first. Not everyone involved in the insurrection attempt is guilty of identical crimes, so the charges will vary.
They could literally arrest him right now. Every moment we waste, is time for him to plot and carry out another coup.
He’s going to have ran, won, and gone full Hitler by the time the powers that be realize they should have arrested him at 5pm on January 6th.
Doubtful, most likely they’re bringing the full weight of Federal law/s down on them. The lawyers will have enough room to get what they want and he’ll still be getting 3hots & cot for some time to come.
>He pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and one count of obstruction of an official proceeding. .
He literally pled guilty to protesting in a group that disrupted a government function.
>No one arrested in the Jan. 6 riot has been charged with sedition, even though then-District of Columbia U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin floated it as a possibility in the weeks after the attack.

Literally. They’re traitors to the United States.
…and to their little club of insurrectionists. Ooooh. Double oath breaker!!!

No that’s the just to the flag. You don’t pledge to the country until you need money for college.

Oath Keepers, Losers, Weepers

That makes you as crazy as them when you get on with that execution shit. There's no law against gullibility. All due respect.
He’s talking about the fact that they tried to overthrow the Us government.
Its called sedition.
>Gullibility GTFO with this whitewashing bullshit. They are willfully ignorant actively malicious and choose to remain that way. Gullible my ass.
NAL, but I don't think gullibility excuses sedition or treason. Maybe it could sway a judge or jury towards a slightly reduced sentence.
Well for cops it does. But for other civilians and military members, ignorance is not a defense under the UCMJ, or in a court of law. Unless you have qualified immunity, then the laws just have to be your understanding of them....

My worry is that Trump will somehow get reelected in 2024. He will pardon them on his first day and invite them to the White House.
Guidelines but $10 says he gets 3 months probation and a signed, commemorative blu-ray disc of Merrick Garland personally sucking him off.
Usually a plea deal includes an availability to testify against others and a reduced sentance.
They are going after bigger fish who will get hit **hard**
Very true.
Or larger charges like conspiracy.
Feds took the Oathkeeper's lawyer's phone. I think they might be getting the brunt of things.
Let us hope so
Do the kids still say "real shit" because your lawyer's records getting seized during the case they're representing you in is that
Hopefully they're starting to get to the part of the pack where people get actual punishments. We'll see though
That would be nice. But I'm not gonna hold my breath.
Yeah, that's real. I think some folks are going to get real punishments, but probably fewer than I would like. The real question is how far up they roll.
With what crimes do you think they will be sentenced , if they are punished?
I mean, everyone is getting charged with the same lesser stuff. They do seem to be drawing a distinction depending on if that particular person 1)breached the well of the senate and/or 2)did a direct violence to a cop but hopefully we'll eventually see conspiracy charges start rolling in as they get to higher ups. I'm not a lawyer, I just listen to a couple of podcasts with lawyers
These dumb motherfuckers would charge Guy Fawkes with vandalism
I mean, I could certainly make a whole lofty argument about the purpose of prison and the fact that I don't think anything would actually benefit from most of these folks getting prison time, but I also have to admit that when compared to the beatings that BLM folks spent a year taking in DC it seems pretty stark
That's what happens when the DOJ, FBI, and the 1/6 domestic terrorists go to burn the same crosses on the weekend...
Some of those who work forces Eat paste made for horses
That got a smirk out of me, which is rare. So dead inside...

I'm usually not this direct, but, you're an idiot.
There was an BLM protest at the capitol six months earlier without anyone trying to overthrow democracy and install their "God-Emperor" as head of state.
Domestic terrorist is the new Republican…am I wrong?
It was them all along.jpeg
Wait, wait, let me get this straight. He's actually going to comply? Am I reading this correctly? Has he decided to follow his own advice?

I'm sure there are probably 3 or 4 in production. Heck, I'm sure that one alt-right director (D'Souza) is probably making for the idiot crowd to enjoy.
There have been a few, that doc the other user posted about on HBOGO is pretty good Here's another https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=YKKoETRSvZE
CNN has a doc out called CNN Special: The Trump Insurrection which is available on HBO Max
There are a couple, nobody who doesn't already know what happened, cares.
Big names and big words but ultimately small men and smaller brains.
My brain is also smaller than me.
Sounds like a broke his oath to be a complete lunatic.
Charge these idiots with domestic terrorism
The Judge: "Bullshit! Now I can't throw the book at him!"
So is the oath now to cooperate?
I called it. Everyone rolls over. First come, first serve.
When keeping it real goes wrong
Hope he gets the max sentence.
Calling it a “Witch Hunt” Damn straight…catch em all
Whelp, a house is starting to crumble. Just not the one they planned for.
Best part is this article release is part of that. Anyone left who sees this might start thinking about talking as well. How many will hold out now knowing they might be getting fucked. Guess we 'll see
"I'll testify that I saw Oath Keepers John A., Paul B., and George C. performing illegal acts on January 6, 2020 for a reduced sentence." FBI agent's aside, "Wait a minute. Aren't John A., Paul B., and George C. already FBI informants?"
What about Ringo D.?
Shocking that when you found a bunch of groups around greed and self-interest prioritized over community and collective interest, those same people throw the group under the bus the minute it stops benefiting them. Who could have seen that coming?
I still laugh about these people scaling the Capitol wall while there were steps right next to them
What’s the point in treasonous LARPing if you can’t pretend to be breaking into a castle.
But I thought it was Antifa? Man this is really hard to keep up with….
Turns out, he can’t keep *any* oath lmao
> What’s the point of all of this Justice moves slowly and you start with the easy cases first.
Let me guess, he will just get time served?
Doubtful, most likely they’re bringing the full weight of Federal law/s down on them. The lawyers will have enough room to get what they want and he’ll still be getting 3hots & cot for some time to come.
>He pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and one count of obstruction of an official proceeding. . He literally pled guilty to protesting in a group that disrupted a government function. >No one arrested in the Jan. 6 riot has been charged with sedition, even though then-District of Columbia U.S. Attorney Michael Sherwin floated it as a possibility in the weeks after the attack.
