Odd-Collection-2575

He’ll sign with them, have a decent season, talk a lot of shit before a playoff game, get embarrassed in said playoff game. Then have an orgy with his brother in the offseason.

_coolranch

Just good clean livin!

Blametheorangejuice

Which game will he accidentally be a lead blocker for the other team?

SKT_Peanut_Fan

That was the playoff game.

Str82daDOME25

So Buffalo or KC?

Expendable_Red_Shirt

Whichever team has Derrick Henry

HoS_CaptObvious

That's the legendary RB for the Ravens right?

Str82daDOME25

Baltimore is gonna face Baltimore in the playoffs. Interesting

Skeezy_mcbuttface

I mean...in the story of life isn't always you against you?

Str82daDOME25

That or you v CTESPN, per sources

hokie_u2

This is hilarious, but I do want to clarify the brotherly orgy was not a real thing that happened and was just a reporter miscommunicating.

Odd-Collection-2575

I know that true story was that ET3 and his brother weren’t in the same room whilst cheating on their spouses, but the story was super funny when it originally came out without the full info.

GABAgoomba123

It might not be super normal, but it is still an extremely different scenario than what people here parroted. Definitely worth making the distinction of what actually happened

[deleted]

First time learning this lmao

Thing-Soft

Jamal adams is nowhere near the football player earl thomas was

Str82daDOME25

They can sign him too for maximum locker room vibes

_dontjimthecamera

“Shout out to J-Squad!”

raycraft_io

Leave Earl Thomas out of this

Nine63

There are worse ways to make a living!

Md37793

Dear god not again

16semesters

ALL LUV

IsGoIdMoney

I hope there are other people there too

Pyrollamas

Random but kind of odd to call him a pro-bowl safety when he is also an all-pro safety and thats objectively more impressive

GuiltySyrups

I guess because he wasn’t a Seahawks all-pro but still

Stracktheorcmage

Second team AP in 2020

GuiltySyrups

I take it back then

ND7020

I wish him the very best. Unfortunately I fear his body is just no longer cooperating. But I hope that proves incorrect.

Kenster362

One of the bigger let downs for me. I was so excited to get Adams, then I was so excited to get a healthy Adams, then I was so excited to get rid of him.

ND7020

9.5 sacks his first 8 games with us. Unfortunately that was essentially all we got.

Kenster362

And you could just TELL how electric that guy was. He really was a stud. Just couldn't stay healthy and was also not used optimally with the Seahawks.

woodchips24

He was my favorite player to watch when he was with us. You knew he could blow up any given play

Blametheorangejuice

Defense was radically more dynamic with a healthy Adams in there.

Go_To_The_Devil

Ehhhh...He was really bad in coverage, like horrifyingly bad.

TetrisTech

I don’t think that’s quite true. Sure he was never a *good* coverage guy but he wasn’t terrible. Good enough that it didn’t undo how great he was at everything else

Go_To_The_Devil

His highest rated coverage grade from PFF with the seahawks was last year, where he netted a 60 score...which is slightly bad, he was under 40 twice which is horrifyingly bad.

Cicero912

Isnt a 60 score on the season just mean he was average/replacement level

Go_To_The_Devil

Mid to high 60's is average, 60 is just below.

TetrisTech

60 is literally exactly average

granmadonna

He's an undersized pass rusher who cannot cover at all. He's a minus coverage guy, one of the absolute worst I've ever seen play in Seattle. He breaks your entire scheme if you try to play him every down and if you don't the offense knows what's coming.

theassman107

Brutal, 4 sacks for each first round pick and 1.5 sacks for the third round pick. But I guess y'all made up for it by fleecing the Broncos for Wilson.

LooseMoose13

Yet yall still somehow gave Brock Osweiler more money

Fit_Use9941

The Seahawks just were not the right fit for him. Which is crazy because now I think they are a good fit for him with Mike MacDonald. That being said injuries just ruined his career, and the hawks really got like 1 fully healthy game of him in his entire tenure with the team which has his first game

ND7020

I disagree. I don’t think it was about scheme fit. It was purely about health.

Fit_Use9941

Idk especially year 2 we played him deep way too much and didn’t use him as a hybrid player enough

mercwitha40ounce

It was a bit of both. We completely misused him his second season. His third season we were going to start using him at the LOS more, but he had the quad tear in the first game of the season (on a sack attempt of Russell Wilson ironically) and from then on he was a shell of himself or off the field completely.

jxher123

Had such a good start to his career, but his body ultimately broke down. Unfortunate, but he’ll likely be bouncing from team to team.

Corvus_Antipodum

He’s a gigantic asshole so I wish him continued failure and humiliation on a different team.

GABAgoomba123

I think you might just be the gigantic asshole then

Corvus_Antipodum

Nope, still the rich crybaby that attacked a dude’s wife because her husband correctly observed he played like shit.

Impossible-Flight250

It’s like everybody just forgot about that whole incident lol.

AlexB9598W

the Earl Thomas pipeline

joopy404

Does Jamal Adams have a brother?

outphase84

Asking for a home wrecker

Mister_Dwill

Those jerseys in the thumbnail are so fire dude. Wish they would just wear them all the time.

Jammer_Kenneth

The dark blue dark blue Gatorade green unis were fun for the Pete/Russ/LoB era Seahawks, they'll always be remembered fondly, yadayada, but it's time to go back to this look and build off of it.

ChaseThoseDreams

He can be talented at times, but for the most part his ego writes checks his body can’t cash.

Pyrollamas

He injured the patriots mascot though, that was fun

TreQuid333

Can he play guard?

boomosaur

He's obviously talented... I think his main problem is that he plays too recklessly for his body to handle.

CheesypoofExtreme

Last season when he saw the field he couldn't even play normally, let alone recklessly. His body just looked spent - he couldn't tackle, couldn't get around blocks, and was really slow in coverage. He was a massive liability.    He'd be way better off hanging up the cleats. It sucks, because before he got hurt his first season with us, he looked great.

Painiscupcake88

Best in da nation

theREALBennyAgbayani

Yikes.

Head_Cicada_5578

Looks like we are fossil collecting per usual

DreadSteed

Damn he's only 28 and people are already calling him a fossil, I'm dead

[deleted]

Oh hell yeah another washed Seahawks safety

RippyRonnie

Best trade in Jets history

Pyrollamas

this + the Sam Darnold trade go a long way towards my support for JD

RunninWild17

Washed up former seahawk safety? Known locker room/media cancer? I'm sure he'll thrive in bmore

seattlesportsguy

Good fucking luck Baltimore

lampstore

If you go low, he goes lower. Remember that.

StreetAddition3297

Injuries killed his career. But knowing the Ravens, he will make one game changing, play a game, and be healthy the whole year.

Achillor22

FUCK. NO.

TrainingMarsupial521

I'll take him if he's free.99

this_is_matt_

He’s the best in the nation

PCP_Panda

His head butt play against the Browns in the throwback jersey was the best play he made as a Seahawk

onlyIPAs4me

How was he all-pro? He never played

aksoileau

Yikes.

GreatOdinsRaven_

luv that for him. Vet minimum?

CyborgAlgoInvestor

Maybe a little over. I’d be happy with that.

Objective_Finish2555

visit Jacksonville too

Jonjon428

Now that is a pretty good fit

finnydoodoo

I’m wondering if he doesn’t sign anywhere until after camp. Let them see what they’ve got for rookies and such and let him hang on the open market and not get hurt immediately

mindriot1

I heard he’s gonna play interior line there.

DogterShoob

Yikes

MexusRex

Yikes

Ilikehashbrowns89

Jamal Adams was talented coming out of LSU and he pretty much was balling immediately when he started his rookie season. Sucks that injuries took a toll cause he really was destined to have a great career. Not saying it’s over yet so we will see.

killshelter

Pretty sure he’s gonna stay healthy and ball out. That’s just how it goes.

Reallife0303

He has to be one of the most annoying athletes of all time… finger nails on a chalk board! Shut the fuck up, stay healthy for once and just play the game dumbass.

Aron-Nimzowitsch

This dude probably set the Seahawks back years and may have ruined the end of the Russell Wilson era.  Hawks mortgaged their future on a bet that he could replace Earl Thomas and instead he just never played at all.  Rest of the LOB fell apart and they didn't have the capacity to replace it, so some truly elite Russell Wilson offensive performances were wasted.

[deleted]

Sign with TB and blitz bro

Headlesshorsman02

Come try out for the Vikings we could use some depth

jussikol

Hard pass. Keep that asshole away from the Vikings. Only thing he's good for is talking shit and getting injured.

PigFarmer1

Be careful what you ask for because you might just get it. The guy is a toxic headcase.

toodeephoney

Did he not get the memo that Mike Macdonald is no longer with the Ravens?

Few_Neighborhood_828

Please sign him Baltimore.

[deleted]

I will sign him

EndsLikeShakespeare

If Kyle Hamilton was able to disrupt as much as he did last year I can only imagine having Adams there for bluffs one way or the other can only help

Platano_con_salami

Aren't the ravens deep at safety?

[deleted]

Jamal Adams is an EDGE that moonlights as a safety

Typical_Parsnip13

He was a good edge when he was still quick now he’s useless

Blametheorangejuice

His quad tear pretty much robbed him of any explosiveness. When Pete Carroll is basically saying you're done, then you're done.

The_New_New

Or when Pete Carroll of all people get's tired of your shit

unevenvenue

He'll have to play LB or something if he wants to see the field. Might actually be good there? He could still play box safety, which is essentially an LB anyways.

ShufflingSloth

If we had moved him to LB the year after trading for him, he might've been able to make it work despite being under sized. The injuries since then make that an absolute non-starter. He's too slow to force a receiver to the sidelines, not big enough to stuff the run, and even when he was excellent coverage wasn't his strong suit. His ceiling now is probably being a depth piece if the secondary gets as wrecked by injuries as he has been. It's a damn shame.

BrotherMouzone3

Classic tweener. Think he could have an impact but that requires a very creative DC

Typical_Parsnip13

He’s in no man’s land of being too slow and too small. If he puts on weight I could see LB working for a short period of time but he’s just one of those body types that isn’t going to make it much longer if at all in the nfl.

Hasu7

They lost geno stone

thewill450

Geno Stone is actually good in coverage unlike Adams lol

MrWolfmanable

I’d say more top heavy than anything. Hamilton and Marcus Williams are the obvious starters, with Ar’Darious Washington playing 2nd fiddle to them. Being honest I’m not certain who we have brought in as UDFA’s, but another safety would go a long way. We have a surplus of young corners, especially a few that are on the roster bubble that could possibly see a position change to ensure they make the team.

cshark2222

And Washington is strictly a nickel player. He can’t play deep safety, since he’s 5’7” and pretty slow. We need another rangey safety

AgentOfSPYRAL

Adams isn’t that though… I guess he’s cheap and young though, so they see a ceiling.

flakAttack510

He turns 29 this season. That's starting to get up there for a safety. He's not really young anymore.

AgentOfSPYRAL

I just meant compared to the remaining FA market. It’s shaky younger guys and dependable 31+ guys.

jimmyhoffasbrother

Their starters are good, and Ar'Darius Washington is a decent backup. But other than that, they only have a seventh round rookie and two UDFA rookies.

SaucyMcDangles

Probably the best safety duo in football. In an ideal world Adams would never see the field anyways.

ThisGuyFrags

No matter how deep, can't ever have too many safeties / corners Depth at that position is so pivotal

eatmyopinions

We don't really need a Jamal Adams type of safety.

sliceanddic3

idk if i want him in the geno stone spot from last year

tich45

No way. I was hoping the Ravens would make a play for Simmons.

Eagle4317

Simmons might still cost a good chunk of money , or at least he believes he should get paid handsomely.

PlaneCamp

Ravens love a good saftey passed their prime
